The colour has already started coming off the keyboard – the red space bar is already turning white so it’s not very durable.
However, works well and looks nice, keyboard is really nice to use

I found this keyboard/mouse combination was ideal to use when my laptop is docked. The key spacing matched that of the 14″ laptop, making it easy to move between them.

Key ‘feel’ was OK for slimline keyboard and the slight tilt was helpful. The wheel on the mouse was OK, but I’d have preferred a soft-touch covering for better control.

I was disappointed that AA batteries were needed, maybe internal rechargeable isn’t possible at the price point of 23.

All in all OK for the price, but definitely a basic setup.

I needed a wireless set up to be able to move more easily around the home while renovating. I expected to have to pay a lot more for this but I can honestly say, this keyboard and mouse work fantastically well. Absolutely no issues and the keyboard particularly is great as has a lovely feel with round keys, much easier to use as a carpal tunnel sufferer. Definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am very peaky with keyboard, I was looking for something compact, but with the numbers on the side. This is absolutely perfect. The keyboard has rounded keys, which avoid pressing multiple keys at a time. The mouse is super silent and light. Perfect for working from home, or even for taking it with me and work elsewhere!

Easy to set up, keyboard works well, Mouse works very well.

I like the Keyboard a lot, I am a one finger typist & the extra space between keys, mean I don’t look up after typing & need to scroll back to where I hit the wrong letter, the keyboard is better quality than other wireless keyboards I have owned.

    So far so good !

I needed a new wireless mouse but I bought this keyboard as it looked good and it came as part of a set. I found it responsive and the keys easy to use however, being used to a full size keyboard, the layout was confusing and the absence of the usual Insert, Delete Home, End, Page Up and Page Down meant that I was missing the keys a lot. I am sure that with more patience than I gave it, I would have become accustomed to the keyboard but, as a more than occasional user, I had to return it (easily and with no fuss) and revert to my trusty full size keyboard.

In summary, it is a nice keyboard for occasional use but I couldn’t get on with it.

This is a decent wireless keyboard and mouse combo, which represents pretty good value I feel. The keyboard is slightly unusual as it has found keys, but actually feels nice to use. The keys are reasonably quiet and have quite a shallow travel. It needs a couple of AA batteries to power it but these should last a long time (particularly with the auto-sleep feature which works well). I wasn’t sure about the deep groove at the top of the keyboard (which I’d assumed was for a pen or stylus – which I suppose it could be also) but did find the option to slot my phone in it useful at times.

The mouse is perfectly fine too. It is silent and non-clicky (including scroll wheel). It feels lightweight and lacks a premium feel ((which can be given at this price) but it does the job well.

In conclusion, this is a nice, budget, keyboard and mouse set. I think however it becomes a more attractive proposition with the more unusual colours they do in this keyboard (I played it safe and got the black set, which in retrospect may have been a mistake as I now think it’s a bit drab compared to the other options you can choose).

    Recommended.

This Leadsail Wireless keyboard and mouse set have a very modern design and is responsive.

This keyboard’s slim form and tilt angle provide you with a comfortable typing position. To help save battery life, the wireless keyboard and mouse combo has auto sleeping mode and on/off switches. There is no software required; you can just connect your portable keyboard and mouse to one USB receiver.

To prevent the loss of the USB receiver it is kept in the mouse’s battery compartment. Additionally, the portable wireless keyboard is outfitted with extensive LED indications, making it simple for you to understand the status of your Bluetooth keyboard.

Nothing about this keyboard bothers me, and I think it’s a stylish, tiny, compact keyboard. The mouse feels precise enough, but it is definitely for non-gaming use. The keyboard has a wonderful mechanical feel to it and makes very little noise. Although the mouse is very little and light, it is quite accurate, feels simple to use, and the movements and clicking seem really reliable and effective. After inserting it into the desktop, it linked up in a few seconds.

Overall, it’s excellent with a responsive keyboard and mouse. I think it’s worth the price of 29.99.

Thirty quid for a wireless/mouse combo is pretty good nowadays, particularly when it is as attractive as this Leadsail combination. A lovely sky blue (#PUSB), grey and red colour scheme. The chassis of the keyboard feels nice and sturdy and has a natural riser due to the battery compartment. This height adjustment is fine for me, although I would imagine some users would like more flexibility.

The keyboard action is nice and bouncy, although it took me a while to get used to the smaller round keys. Due to their size I found I had to be a little more accurate. Noise from the keyboard is minimal, although the chassis does rattle slightly when in use. It doesn’t bother me – or anyone else in my office for that matter – so all good there.

The mouse is a good size so doesn’t feel too small in my hand. Clicks from the mouse buttons are satisfying. The scroll wheel does feel a little stiff, but it’s something I’ll get used to.

All in all a great little keyboard, that is only really let down by the lack of batteries in the package. Also, the # key has its own little button coloured in grey. I presume this is because of Twitter, etc.

I ordered this as a makeweight for my daughter who is currently going through her final year at university. She is absolutely the hardest hitting typist you have ever heard. Seriously, think how hard John Bonham hit his drums with Led Zep, and that’s how she types! She broke the Microsoft keyboard that was in the study, so I ordered this so she can crack on.

After a few weeks battering, it’s still holding up very well to El’s punishment. The keyboard has a nice tactile feel, somewhere closer to spongy than clicky, but nice enough for occasional use. The keyboard is a nice size and the function keys work as expected. It connected in a couple of seconds of plugging into the desktop PC and has been rock solid since. I’ve had other sets where the wireless drops out, but not here.

The mouse feels responsive enough, albeit not the quickest. Certainly for the non-gaming use it is being out to, there are absolutely no complaints. If I’m being picky, I think the only possible issue is that after a couple of weeks it does look a little grubby. But having said that, it’s got white keys and the mouse is also white. And it’s being used more or less exclusively by a student. I guess that would be expected!

In summary, a nice enough set, with good aesthetics, positive typing and mouse responses that just work. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVERSION:
~ LeadsaiL ‘2.4G WIRELESS QWERTY KEYBOARD + MOUSE’ (joint USB receiver in the battery compartment in the latter)

~ COLOUR: LIME GREEN & CREAMY WHITE with BLACK contrast

I had no problems with the duo/Win10

    ooOoo

This is quieter than some keyboards I have tried and as I share an office at times, it helps relations!
I find that the lightly textured keys need less pressure to register. Also, I managed to adapt to the round shaped keys much quicker than I thought I would, without losing speed.

The keyboard is shorter in width at around 37 cm than the main one I am using but still has the separate numeric pad to the right with an ‘Enter’ key lower right, both of which are essential for me in the work I do, if not clattering away on a calculator from yesteryear.

On the negative side for me, the main ‘Enter’ key is smaller than I am used to, which I still struggle with + a couple of other keys I use regularly are in a different position, the ‘#/~’ key, posing the most challenging change in habit, along with ‘Delete’!

NOT supplied, 3 x AAA batteries are required; 2 for the keyboard + 1 for the mouse.
All are easy to insert behind the battery covers, as indicated.
The joint USB receiver is housed in the base of the mouse on arrival but there is a slot next to the batteries in the base of the keyboard, if preferred.

Complete with INSTRUCTION BOOKLET, the colourful duo came in a cardboard box with inner liner. Both items were separately wrapped inside.

    ~ KEYBOARD:

Slightly angled and bulkier at the top, there is no height adjuster but it stands firm on the 5 x little white, rubber-type ‘feet’ on the base, in my experience.
‘CAPS LOCK’ + ‘NUM LOCK’ glow red for a short while when selected/deselected, at the top right of the keyboard both to the left of the LOW BATTERY indicator.
The ON/OFF switch is located on the base.

    ~ MOUSE (dpi800/1200 (default)/1600:

By comparison to the outgoing, this surprisingly lightweight mouse is a nice shape in hand for me and moves quickly without delay, also in my experience. There is more of a ratchet feel (and noise) to the silver-coloured, textured scroll wheel, but I soon got used to that.
The branding is clear on the top of the mouse. The ON/OFF switch is on the base.
It needs a button depressing to ‘wake’, if not in use a while, e.g. over elevenses, in my case!

Overall, a relatively impressive duo; the fresh colour scheme making everything else around look dull & dated!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quieter than some but not all, in my experience (requires 3 x AA batteries ~ NOT supplied)

I wanted to have a Bluetooth keyboard for my spare room to use when I’m using my large tablet.
I didn’t need a full size keyboard but this one has the numerical keypad on the far right, which will occasionally come in handy for my accounting purposes.
I like the narrow and long size of this blue plastic coloured bluetooth keyboard with its nice looking rounded keys which are easy to press and very reactive and silent. This is good as I work alot late night and no noisy keys to disturb the family. The keyboard takes 2 pcs of AA sized batteries but I used the rechargeable type and I’ve yet to see if they last a month. But I’ve plenty of AA rechargeable batteries to swap them over, so it’s no big deal. The keyboard does not have a USB port to use instead of batteries, which was a little disappointing.
It pairs very easy with my desktop computer or large tablet and when using it, you need to touch any key and it takes around 2 to 3 seconds before it connects up with the desktop.
The keyboard kit comes with a mouse which takes 1 pcs of AA size battery. The tiny USB bluetooth piece is stores inside the mouse battery compartment. It plugs into the USB port and the computer/tablet senses it straight away. The mouse is very lightweight but very accurate and feels easy to navigate and the motions and clicking feels very accurate and true.
But it may be fine on your phone and other bluetooth devices.
When fast touch typing, it works great and I can type accurately on the rounded keys, even though I’m used to the square curved key type.
The keyboard is well made and mechanically feels somewhat a good quality keyboard and doesn’t give one the sense of low quality.
There isn’t anything I don’t like about this keyboard and I think its a smart looking thin narrow keyboard. Great value for money and works exactly as described.
Money wise, I think its a good price and I’m happy with it.

This is a really nice, well made, sleek wireless keyboard and mouse and both use the same USB receiver

    The good bits :
Packaging is nice and simple – only one thin plastic bag used to protect the keyboard, everything else is cardboard.
    The keyboard looks stunning
The keyboard light enough to carry in laptop bag, but doesn’t move about when being used
The size of the keyboard is perfect for chucking in my laptop bag – as when I get to work I connect to an external monitor and use my laptop screen as a second monitor, but my laptop is pushed to the back of the desk, so I need a separate keyboard
The mouse is not too narrow and the fingers fall naturally over the left/right buttons
The knurling of the mouse scroll wheel works well – the finger easily grips and turns the wheel
Both keyboard and mouse have physical on/off switches
The USB receiver can be stored in either the keyboard OR mouse – personally I prefer keeping it with the keyboard
The keyboard is PRINTED AND SET for UK layout
ALL the keys and Function keys worked without fault
Being the keys are round, the feel of the key was a little strange at first, but I soon got used to them and had no problems with any of the key responses
The key feedback, i.e. when the key is pressed to the bottom and then released, felt light and confident

    The other bits :
For the price (29.99 – Aug 2022), I would have expected the 3 x AA to be included!
One small thing I personally would have liked, would have been a height adjustment for the back of the keyboard – it’s just a personal preference that I like the keyboard to be raised a bit higher

Overall, at 29.99 (at the time of review – August 2022), I would say that is just about right – personally I will be using for my travel/office keyboard, as it has all the keys of a ‘full size’ keyboard, but it a more compact size and fairly light.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks GREAT, nice key feel and response - USB receiver can be stored in either KB or Mouse 👍

I picked this up because my old and much loved wire connection Lenovo keyboard finally went to the great tech heaven in the sky so I figured it was a sign to upgrade.

Design wise, this is a slim line keyboard so more compact than my earlier model, which I liked because it saved on desk space but note that it does mean the keys are closer together than on other makes – perfect if, like me, you have small hands, but not if you have a wide hand span. It’s a scissor switch keyboard, which isn’t to everyone’s taste. My suggestion is to see about giving a scissor switch keyboard a try in a computer shop if you can to see if it’s for you before getting this. I had the Multicoloured keyboard, which is a pleasant mix of light blue, red and grey – I liked it because it’s more interesting than a black/grey conventional set up but it may not be to everyone’s taste. The keyboard is not adjustable so you’re stuck with the tilt that the manufacturer has given you. That was fine for me but may not suit everyone.

My main criticism of the keyboard is that some of the symbols aren’t where I was expecting them (there’s a separate hashtag button, which took me a few minutes to locate).

The mouse is also compact. It’s got a nice scroll action and the clicks are almost silent so if you work in the same room as someone else then there’s less chance of you bothering them with it.

In terms of connection you simply slot the bluetooth device into a USB slot on your computer and it connected with the keyboard and mouse automatically PROVIDED that you’ve put AA batteries into each (you need 2 for the keyboard and 1 for the mouse). The set does not come with batteries provided, which I do think is a bit cheap given what this costs (29.99 at the time of review) because if you have to buy them it’s going to add about another 3 plus to the cost of running it. Note that the bluetooth nub is stored in the battery compartment of the mouse – this is clearly set out in the instructions but if you’re just looking to plug and play, it is easy to miss.

All in all, I am pretty happy with this as it works fine and does what I need it to.

This is a pleasant to use membrane keyboard and mouse combination – available in a variety of colours.

Visually the round keys too strike a different note, yet in practical terms, touch typing, and I am writing the review using this keyboard – the feel, so striking the keys is no different to the square kind.

The layout is UK, so I get a and # etc where I want them. While not quite a full size keyboard the layout includes dedicated “insert” “Print Screen” “Scroll Lock” and “Pause” buttons – placed above the number pad, far right, and then dedicated arrow keys under the right “Shift” key.

So making this a sort of compacted full sized keyboard in terms of keys if not layout.

There’s a blue “FN” function key and the F1-F12 keys have media controls accessed by Fn + F(x)

The other interesting thing about this keyboard is that it takes two AA batteries and not AAA which is now more common – does that translate into a longer life? I suspect it might.
There are no feet to the rear to angle the Keyboard, rather it comes at a angle which is created by the battery compartment.
I find this good to go, but if you prefer a flat plane and not angled this maybe a negative.
Whereas not having folding feet is one less thing that can break, so there’s that.

The mouse is a good size, and again presents as something between full size and compact, but is neither.
I find it feels okay in my hand, and it is three button, (and there’s a DPI switch with three settings) and so can be used left or right handed, as there’s no bias to the right. Where it differs from a full sized mouse is not footprint but height – it has a flatter profile.
It also takes one AA battery and the wireless dongle for both mouse and keyboard is stored in the battery compartment of the mouse in the box, but there is space for it in the keyboard battery compartment too.
Perhaps these are or were available individually?

In conclusion this is a reasonable membrane keyboard and mouse, it is relatively light and is an okay choice to use on your knee for a living room based media centre, and is quite adequate as a desktop keyboard too. Wireless range seems pretty good too.
Price point is average for a wireless mouse and keyboard combination of this kind, and if you are looking for a colour choices then this makes any of the available options worth consideration.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Keyboard and mouse

A well-made wireless keyboard, the one I got is a light blue colour and it certainly does look attractive, the mouse is also the same colour but it has a metal scroll wheel, so it looks quite distinguished on its own. do note you have to put in one AA battery into the mouse and two AA in the keyboard, this is a bit naughty, the makers should supply the batteries, certainly for the price.

The keyboard is ergonomically designed and slopes down a bit, I am using it with my laptop, as this wireless one is better and nicer to use, it makes no noise when you type and generally just looks nicer on the table, the mouse is good, though I did notice that it is a bit slow, my present wireless mouse is very receptive, but this one is a tad slower, also, you can use just the wireless mouse with a laptop, once you put in the dongle into the computer it will work without the wireless keyboard.

So altogether a good combo, well made, the mouse is a bit slow, for that reason I have taken off one star, so four stars for this kit is good and if you can afford it and need a wireless keyboard this set is worth considering.
