This purchase was to replace my black and red version of this mouse which was in use at least forty hours a week for over four years, it had been dropped, rolled around in a laptop backpack and being bashed and kicked by passengers on buses and trains, that’s how robust these wireless mouses are! I was so pleased when I searched my previous purchases in my orders in amazon that the mouse was still available and I went for black this time, it is exactly like my previous mouse. This mouse is so comfortable to use, my hand just rests on it and operation is effortless, motion is so smooth (I use a soft mouse mat), the button click is quiet, soft and again effortless and the wheel is soft silicone, quiet and has easy action.
I bought one of these in September 2020 and never knew how long one round of charge lasted whilst using it at least 7-8 hours a day! It lasted more than 3 years for me until I started putting it on charge every day. I’m now looking for a built-in Bluetooth mouse but keep coming back to this one. I’d have definitely bought it again now if it had that option. If you don’t have an issue with using a USB connector, I’d recommend this one.
Its a great product, I just regreat not buying with wireless keyboard together, which means I need to use two usb ports if I want to use wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. Then if I need to use headphones for calls I may run out of port space.
I use this for work, 9-5 IT job. Super impressed it lasted 4 months on one charge. Virtually silent, there’s still some mechanical feedback, which is the slightest thunk. Not the clackety clacks you get with a normal mouse. You basically can’t hear it in an open office. Comfortable in hand. Only thing to nitpick is that you still need to have the USB dongle plugged in while charging. Laptops have dwindling number of ports, so if my mouse is charging, it occupies the only 2 USB ports I have. Meaning I can’t have my headset plugged in. But for the price and quality, it’s a small complaint.
general use, surfing web and gaming no problems. had to charge it first and used it every day for 2 weeks and still working without recharging. flatter than my usuai mice but have quickly got accustomed to it. no lights on it saving energy which you won’t see anyway with your hand on it. happy so far.
A full charge lasted me almost a month with excessive use. The mouse clicks are completely soundless and very smooth which makes it a great pleasure to use.
The one improvement I would like, though, is that the mouse wheel click be silent also, as I often find myself frequently using this feature with the PC game I frequently play. Other than this, faultless.
This is the best mouse I have used, certainly better than the best wired mouse. Just the right degree of sensitivity. It “goes to sleep” quite quickly but is easily “woken up”. Highly recommended.
I use this for my work laptop which at times is a ‘second screen’ the battery life is really good and sleep mode works well for what I use it for. I’ve had no issues and would recommend it as it’s comfortable to use and the silenced clicks are also handy.
I’m delighted with this mouse, it’s comfortable in my hand, works perfectly and the sleep function is handy.
I only use it for work purposes so I can’t attest to its efficacy for gaming purposes but I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be ideal.
This is a very functional, stylish mouse, although I dont use it for gaming, only in my home office, I have no issues with it so didn’t want to mark it down. Ive only needed to charge it once in over a month and I use it daily for work.
I have never had a rechargeable mouse before, plenty of cordless but I get fed up with constantly having to replace the batteries. This have been a game changer for me, it holds a long charge (plenty long enough for my needs anyway) an is an excellent mouse, very responsive and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Decent mouse but not silent.
My main criteria for a mouse is silent, the left and right button are silent but the scroll wheel clicks.
May not bother anyone else but annoys me.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this wireless device is incredible. The batteries last ages because when you don’t use it the mouse goes in stand by mode to save energy. First you need to connect the usb thingy to one of your ports and the job is done, you can start using it pretty much immediately. It feel down to hard surfaces so many times and still working after using for over a year. Please don’t look elsewhere. This is the mouse you want.
Overall a good operational mouse and being rechargeable makes really good sense. The only little downside is that feels a little woolly on the buttons but that is because it’s designed to be a silent operator.
This is a fairly flat mouse compared to others, but I like the size of it. The material on the top is softer than the usual plastic.
All the functionality has worked fine for me, no issues.
The sleep mode is really useful, especially since this isn’t my main input device but I need to use it every now and again. It goes to sleep automatically after a couple of minutes, and you just have to click to wake it up. So no need to remember to turn it off or fiddle with it all the time.
I like that it’s rechargeable – don’t need to worry about a battery slowly dying. It comes with the cable, I think it’s just a standard micro-USB to USB-A if you ever lose it. Easy to charge.
…I did not realise it does not take batteries, so it is very light weight and very sensitive. It can run out without any warning and needs plugging in to research so more often than not I actually keep it plugged in to charge which also seems to reduce the sensitivity to a more normal level. I am using with a Macbook Pro though – so just grateful it is compatible as so many things are not. Would recommend.
absolutely love this mouse! Has made working from home so much easier, can’t imagine working without it now. Fantastic responsiveness – better than my corded mouse in the office! Love that it is rechargeable. Have previously used top brand name wireless mouse which was battery powered it terrible – unreliable and poor battery life – and too bad if batteries die and you don’t have spares. No such issue here – in fact I have been using this for two months now and haven’t had to recharge it at all yet. Highly recommended.
Have had a range of wired and wireless mouses and this is by far the nicest to use, hold and manage. With a lead provided to recharge, and with a very quiet (not quite silent) click, it’s also a precise little tool. Only slight criticism is the port for the charger is a little fiddly and doesn’t feel very robust, but it’s the best I’ve had by miles.
Very easy to set up. Just plug and play! Used it for gaming, not too bad but I wouldn’t recommend for games. Very quiet to use and the clicking noise is minimal.
Updating my review after two month’s use. Moves the cursor in an expected way when connected. Quiet. Sleep mode a bit too quick.
Seemed to lose contact with the transmitter after about two weeks and I dropped it in a desk. Picked it up a week later and it’s been fine since. No idea.
Good battery life. Easy to turn off. Comfortable.
Generally happy with this.
It’s good. I mean, it works. The reaction time is a teeny bit slow sometimes, but it’s a cheap mouse so what can you expect! Does the job, but I don’t reccomend if you’re planning to use this for gaming. But for other PC use you can’t go wrong!
Its good that it is rechargeable BUT it would be good if it was easier to connect with a USB cable, if you were warned that it needed recharging and if you can remember that it is rechargeable (having wrecked the previous one by trying to prise it apart to replace the batteries! – Idiot!! )
Well it worked straight from the box on an old Toshiba Satellite running windows 10. Very comfortable, warm to the palm without getting sweaty. Nice matt finish, easy tracking, very impressed with the mouse. I nearly returned it as I couldn’t get the charging cable in, in fact, it looked like completely the wrong mini USB, however I couldn’t find anyone else complaining so I tried again using a lot more force than I normally would, lo and behold it went in and started charging, so, I’m a happy bunny. No idea on battery life yet, but at lest I can charge it if it goes flat! 🙂
A very good mouse, battery life is extensive,. i just plug in for 10 minutes or so every now and then.
Buttons really are silent click, nice smooth operation without to much play on the buttons or resistance. It’s not quite a full size mouse which can be unfomfortable for long use.
Also appears fairly sturdy, it’s been dropped a few times from around 1m up and there’s sign of any damage
Never heard of Leadsail before but you dont need to worry – this is a great little mouse. If you’re looking for the normal clumsy and rather bulky mouse then this is definitely not for you. This fits nicely in the hand and feels good, very positive response and needs little movement to move where you want it to go. Takes absolutely no effort to install. If you have bigger than average hands this may not suit you, but its perfect for me. Recommended.
I bought it to have a rechargeable model. It works perfectly well but is definitely smaller than other mice. This makes it a bit uncomfortable to use. It all depends on the size of one’s hand, I suppose.
I decided to pay a little extra for a rechargeable mouse, since we never seem to have a new battery in the house at the crucial moment. If you plug it in to the computer it works straight away.
My only dislike is that the wheel direction is, for me, counterintuitive, but I’m getting used to it.
Looks great is light and easy to hold. Silent click is great. I love that it shuts itself down when not being used to save battery life. Very quickly re charges too
