Lego is one of those brands that has become synonymous with quality and that can be trusted every time. This Ninjago action figure building set is no exception, it has provided my five year old nephew with endless fun and entertainment.

Recommended for kids of all ages.

Really great set and absolutely fantastic price for what you get. Very unusual to have four mini figs at this kind of price range, so that was a great bonus. It’s a really nice build, fun to do and then look great on completion. It’s nice that younger ninjago fans can do it too. It makes a great set for imaginative play once built. Kids had a whole afternoon of fun with this set.

We are all Massive Lego fans in this house and have loved all the Lego Ninjago series for years. So we were very excited to build this new series from latest range. The LEGO NINJAGO Kai’s Elemental Fire Mech was a super fun build for my 9 and 10 year old son and daughter. We all had a go building it and enjoyed it as well as watching this latest series Dragons Rising.
We loved that it came with Kai and Zane Character Minifigures and think it is super great value for money.
As usual excellent quality Lego pieces. Easy to follow instructions and great quality product.
Great gift for a Lego Ninjago super fan.
    Would recommend.

The Elemental Fire Mech is equipped with awesome features like posable arms, a gripping hand, and a stud shooter, allowing for endless imaginative battles and adventures. My kids have spent hours recreating scenes from the Ninjago universe and coming up with their own epic stories. The minifigures, Kai and Zane, are fantastic additions to this set. Their detailed designs and unique weapons make them stand out, and they add an extra layer of excitement to playtime.

    Pros:
    – Easy to construct as there aren’t that many pieces.
    – Pretty cool figures & Mechs
    – Looks good within collections of other Ninjago sets.

    Cons:
    – I wouldn’t consider this as something I would want as a collector, but its still great for kids to use. However, it does still look nice as part of a collection.

All in all, decent looking set which is easy to put together.

My son is a huge Lego Ninjago fan and loves to collect as many sets as possible. Some sets can be so expensive but this is one of the more affordable ones. Perfect if your child wants to spend some birthday or Christmas money.

There are 322 pieces in this set and once built you will have Kai’s elemental earth mech toy. You also get 4 minifigures which are Kai, Zane, Jordana and a wolf mask warrior.

My son tends to build his sets and use them for display only but they can be played with too as the mechs arms and legs can be moved/posable. If you own the other mechs in this particular Lego range then the parts can be interchangeable.

These sets are great as stocking fillers or as a birthday gift.

Perfect for collectors and fans of Ninjago.

A small LEGO kit which makes it affordable but still a lot of fun. Perfect as a small gift or stocking filler for kids. If your child likes all the Ninjago stuff, this is a great set. What I thought was great about this set is the fact that, despite not being too big or taking too long to build, it is something that the kids can play with after they’ve built it. They get the fun part of building it and then the fun part of playing with it afterwards.

This is the usual great Lego quality and my son has really enjoyed putting it together.
The build seems quite sturdy and can withstand a good play. The play-battle accessories are good quality with bright colours and smooth surfaces. They also look rather impressive displayed.
As a parent, I like that this set lets my little one, who enjoys building, create his own stuff and have fun. It keeps him busy for ages, and it is not just fun but also helps him get better with his hands.
To sum it up, this set is great for young builders, with easy-to-handle parts that come together easily, helping them learn and have fun.

Quite an affordable set for a Lego set although doesn’t quite have all the bells and whistles of larger sets. These mechs don’t really move that much but are still good character models.

There are actually two mechs to be built in the set which was great for my twins. The set even shows how the mechs can be combined with other sets. Which is always something I would do as a kid myself.

    Would make a great gift.

This review is for Lego set 718808. It is the LEGO Ninjago Kai’s Elemental Fire Mech and it currently costs 24.99. There are 322 pieces in this set and it is for ages 7+. As always with Lego, you know you are getting a well made and quality product. This particular model comes from the Ninjago range. It’s a pretty cool looking set for those that are into the Ninjago range. It’s all pretty futuristic. If you have several different mech sets, different parts of the mech’s body can be swapped around.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ninja action fun!

This is another fab Lego set from a brand I always associate with high quality.

The instructions are clear and easy to navigate — it was a fairly quick but enjoyable build. The end result provides hours of play and entertainment — great stuff!

I think it’s pretty reasonably priced for a decent sized Lego set.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it helpful.

This is the usual great Lego quality and my son has really enjoyed putting it together.

What stood out about this set to me is what you get for the price. We have various Ninjago sets and this seems like great value compared to what we have had in the past. I think they could have justified just the red mech – so to have the blue as well really makes this a worthy addition and great all round as a buyer.

I can’t speak for it’s authenticity to the series, but my son seems to think it’s perfect As usual, I find most children can manage a couple of years under the recommended age. My son is 5 and didn’t struggle with this.

Lego set 71808 kais elemental fire mech. Another great ninjago play set, that any fan will love. The set comes in a colourful box, showing you a picture of the completed model on the front and back. You get to make kais elemental fire mech and wolf clan mech. The elemental mech can be combined with others mech from different sets, but perfectly playable with or without any of the other sets. The set includes 4 mini figures, kai, zane, Jordana ninjagos and wolf mask warrior. Great attention to detail with the mech being posable, moving the arms and legs ready to battle with a big golden sword. Inside everything is contained in bags, you can locate each piece easily and follow each part in the correct order. The instructions has clear images that are easy to understand and follow, with each piece being recognisable. The set contains a 322 pieces. So a fairly straight forward make and then hours of play after. A fun set to battle and fight against the evil villain. Theres nothing to dislike about the set. Perfect addition for the ninjago fan. Brilliant quality as expected.

My little one loves the LEGO NINJAGO range, and this is his second one. The play-battle accessories are good quality with bright colours and smooth surfaces. The parts easily fit together, and the action figures can move their arms and legs for special battle poses.
The mech action figures, thanks to their detachable legs, arms, and torso, can be mixed with parts from his other Mech set.
To mix and match parts from different sets to create all sorts of different structures — is what makes Lego so good!

I think Lego could probably get away with charging 25 for just the one Mech so its only a minimal grumble from me that the second Mech is not quite up to scratch with the main (red) one. But it also meant that our son could play with his friend with both of them and for the price tag its pretty good value along with the four Ninjago mini figures.
So our son is 6 with a notoriously short attention span but he did manage the smaller of the two Mechs by himself with very little input. I had to take over with the bigger Mech as he lost interest and just wanted to play with his new build and knowing him it would have become a struggle and the last thing I want to do is make lego a chore and this set was rated above his age.
So the big red Mech is good and solid and very playable with, but the blue one is very flimsy in the arms which ping off very easily. Im going to do a bit of reinforcing with some of our own blocks when I find some of the right colour but I still can’t knock this set too hard as for the price you get a very playable set and the red mech build is good fun too!

4.0 out of 5 stars 2nd Mech is a little flimsy, but good value for two.

It’s lego, everyone loves lego! Apart from when you stand on a piece! 🙂

This Ninjago themed set contains 2 mechs and 4 characters! Quite happy about that at 24.99. We know that these sets can be quite expensive so if you have 2 children (or more and the others can use the characters during play?), they can both play with Lego out of just one box and there shouldn’t be any fighting over whose turn it is or you being forced to buy two sets!

Doesn’t take too long to put together and mechs don’t have as many functions/moving parts as with other more advanced sets, but it did provide several hours of play during the day when we got it and I’m sure this will continue to be the case for a while!

You can mix the mechs with other 2 mechs if you get another set, there are suggestions on how you could combine them too, but you can obviously use your own creativity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ninjago lego!

This LEGO NINJAGO playset features a fire mech for Kai and a smaller mech for the wolf mask warrior enemy. Also included are Zane and Jordana minifigures with accessories, so a proper heroes vs villains battle can be set up. The set is aimed at ages 7+ so it’s not at all difficult to put together, my nephew is 8 and had no trouble with it whatsoever.

The quality is up to the high standard I expect from LEGO. The fire mech naturally is the larger and more poseable of the two. It is relatively stable standing up, I only wish the bends at the knees and elbows were adjustable. The back of the box also demonstrates how the mech can be mixed and matched with others in the series, so there are a lot of customisation options. The wolf mech is smaller and less stable (my nephew has knocked parts off a few times) but the blue and black contrasts nicely against the red and orange of the fire mech, I like that the designs of both mechs are sufficiently different from each other.

Overall I am very happy with this LEGO set, it looks fantastic and comes with a good set of minifigures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value battle set with two mechs and four minifigures

My son is a massive fan of Lego Ninjago and couldn’t wait to build this to add to his collection, however with 322 pieces in this set he had it made in no time, literally only took him a few hours!! He is very happy with the completed set and loves the included Kai, Zane, Jordana & Wolf Mask Warrior minifigures. A fantastic set from the Ninjago range and would highly recommend.

Nice fun smaller kit, but plenty to build and good quality as you would expect from Lego.

2 nice mini figures and 300 bricks to put together, a nice way to pass an hour.

There are clear instructions included which makes it easier for young people to put the model together. I like the idea that, if you have more than one set, you can swap the various components round and add a touch of Individuality to the models. The models fit together very well as you would expect and have some movement in them. They are fairly sturdy when assembled. A lovely addition to the Ninjango range.

The fact that this set comes with 2 robots and 4 mini figures has gone down well with both my daughters – they actually managed to share for once lol.

The mini figures are nicely detailed, come with accessories and can fit inside the robots once built.

The 2 mech are relatively simple to build, each featuring some great detail. There could be a tad more articulation in the legs and arms, but the pivoting joints in the limbs that do move work really well. The moving figures/claws are quite cool too and it’s quite impressive how the fingers on the red mech can grasp the giant sword!

There’s colour pictorial instructions included and my daughters (aged 9 and 14) happily built both mech in no time, finding it an enjoyable build overall.
The build seems quite sturdy and can withstand a good play. They also look rather impressive displayed.

On the the whole it’s a great set and a good introduction to the Ninjago mech range.

We are a family of geeks and fans of Lego so this collaboration was a marriage made in heaven. We have a few other bits from this series so it was a great addition to the collection we already have. Really fun to put together and to play with and now sits on display.
