This was my nephews first Lego technic build, so he was excited to build it with me. My son had scared him saying technical were hard but I assured him that the instructions would be easy to follow and I was right. Good clear Lego instructions. Was a fun build and sturdy enough for him to play with as he loved vehicles.
Good for imagination play and looks good in his room on his shelf.
Great value for what you get. Would recommend. Perfect for first technical build.
This mini bulldozer utilises basic mechanics to move, unlike its adult Lego Technic counterpart which is app-controlled. I found it to be a fantastic age-appropriate recreation of the model, with sensibly reduced complexity. It was a fairly easy build for the age group, but we have loads of kits at home so prior experience may have played a factor in the speed of the build. It is relatively small though. But all the joints and moving parts that made it functional were really great.
I recently acquired a construction vehicle toy that has exceeded my expectations. Featuring realistic details and functional components, it offers an immersive play experience for kids. Its sturdy construction ensures durability, even during rough play sessions. The set’s inclusion of small details adds to its appeal, making it a favorite among young enthusiasts. As a parent, I appreciate how this toy encourages imaginative play while promoting fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in children. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to any toy collection.
It’s a nice size.. Instruction booklets are provided for the 2 types of build and easy to follow. Online instruction manual is also easy to find.. We got him a Lego Technic Crane for Christmas and he loves playing with it with this. Brilliant addition to my son’s Technic Construction Vehicles collection. Good value for money.
My son loves this bulldozer! He really likes the finished model on his shelf, but as it’s a technic build, he did find some of the steps on making it a bit more tricky than your normal Lego. (The tracks were a little fiddly in particular.)
Having said that, he did enjoy the challenge and it probably took him less than an hour to build it.
It has all the quality you would expect from Lego and the brilliant diagram based instructions. As usual, these were really clear and easy to follow.
This kit feels really good value for money at the current price of 8.99.
Ok, so I completely underestimated the difficulty of this build, thinking it would only be few bricks and take maybe 5 minutes to construct; well, it ended up taking me over an hour to get it all together as I decided to do it without the manual in the first instance. I managed around 1/3 of the build before I ended up getting frustrated and going straight onto the manual in order to get it finished.
I would say it’s not impossible to build without a manual but it only takes a minute or so to get online and get the instructions from the website.
This one has gone into my main display collection as it fits in nicely with collections of other Technic sets(mostly cars but a few other bits and bobs)
This is a great stocking stuffer or little Lego gift.
Great price (9) and it’s recommend for 7+ which I agree with.
Despite it being a small kit there’s just under 200 pieces and would take an afternoon to build, depending on the child’s skill/attention span.
It’s also quite interactive after it’s built and the front can be moved up and down and the tracks do move.
Great little Lego set, I keep a stash of these for little birthday gifts and they are always appreciated.
It seems everyone loves Lego, so you can’t really go wrong here.
This is a technics set so a good entry into some engineering aspects, fun and educational.
This is a really nice set for the money.
It’s the now familiar Lego presentation – card box with pieces bagged inside, and an instruction booklet. As this is a Technic set, the build is a little more involved, but it’s not too tricky. From opening the box to having a finished model took me around 50 mins. Probably the most time consuming aspect of the build is clicking together all of the track pieces. The instructions, as you expect from Lego, are nice and clear.
Some clever engineering allows the front blade to be moved up and down, and the tracks move on cog wheels, so there’s some nice playability and interaction once it’s finished.
There are a few spare pieces included – a couple of track elements and some smaller bits that might be lost.
For a 9 set, this is great. Keeps a child (or adult!) busy for an hour or so. Would make a nice little gift.
