Handy little travel computer, it works fine for surfing the web but a bit glitchy for games in my opinion, I’d more use for the surfing side than gaming. Simple to set up on any TV or screen but you’ll also need a mouse and keyboard both not supplied.
So far, this has been a good purchase. I will update the review if anything goes wrong.
This is quite a long review so if you don’t have time to read it – the 2 main takeaways are:
It seems brilliant so far
You need a wired mouse or keyboard for the initial set up (or at least we couldn’t set it up any other way).
We had planned to buy a refurbished desktop computer because ours is on its last legs and crashes quite often. But then I saw this. For such a low price for a brand new, small footprint machine it seemed too good to miss (although I paid 15 for optional replacement insurance just in case.)
I honestly couldn’t believe the size of it when it arrived. It is quite literally the footprint of one of my table coasters – although thicker obviously.
We had some issues initially. Wouldn’t communicate with two older monitors we tried – although we tried both the HDMI lead supplied and another of our own that we knew worked fine. I was about to contact Amazon but decided to try it on the TV I use as an extra monitor and it worked immediately.
The next problem was communicating with it and getting it set-up. Make sure you have a WIRED mouse or keyboard for this stage. Once we plugged keyboard and mouse in, it immediately updated and seemed to work fine. It took literally less than one minute to connect it to our wi-fi network.
One slight issue is that I skipped the screen for one year free of MS Office (assuming I could go back to it later) but I can’t find any way to see the offer again. I will contact Letsung support in the hope they can help me with this.
Easy to install and use, runs fast and is lightweight and portable. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase agai
Purchased this to use as a plex media server as it is small.Requires either a network drive or USB harddrive to work as the media storage, but works great.I have a network storage device for my media files and this little unit works great, and is completely silent.I have used it in my holiday trailer as well. I love how small it is and it takes no space and runs cool and silent.I will be replacing my old desktop with this for my media server.
