It’s perfect for my gaming setup. It connects my PlayStation to the TV, and the graphics are super crisp and fast. The nylon braid feels durable. Excellent value for the price and I would recommend. Does excellent job.
Got 2 of MAXGROUP cables recently, the other one begin HDMI 2.1. The build qualit, perfomrance and everything is top notch. I am mostly using this cable for my audio soundbar! And I am happy to report that there are no issues or delays at all. I wouldn’t advise getting an HDMI 2.0 for newer tv like an 2022 or newer since you will be losing on the 2.1 bandwidth. However for most audio setups and older tvs it’s a great choice!
Great HDMI cable that does what it says on the tin, tested up to 4K from PC to TV screen @ 30FPS. Comes braided so is a little harder to twist and makes it a little more rigid than normal cables. The ends are also encased in metal which is a nice touch.
You might not need an HDMI cable as long as 5m for home use, but I wanted it for connecting my laptop to my portable PC projector, which had come with a ridiculously short cable. This one was just right. The cable is enclosed in a grey, woven nylon covering that prevents twisting and tangling, and the end plugs have strong sheathing, so I expect them to stand up to a lot of use and many connections and disconnections.
The cable is 3 meters in length, looks nice, seems well made and it works for 4K well, I did not experience any drop outs when using with both an X Box S and the streaming apps or when using with a 4K UHD Panasonic player to a projector, the cable worked and will support 4K without any issues.
All in all I have no negatives to report, the cable does as it says it does and works for 4K signals.
Bought for step sons PS5 so he can play games at 4K – 60hz
Feels very made and I expect it to last for a long, long time.
Happy to recommend it.
This is a nice HDMI cable because it’s braided, and feels well made, it does the job as you’d expect, it just works. 3M is a nice length, and the robust braided cable means its handy for carrying around with your laptop etc.
I use this cable between my PC running an MSI Geforce RTX 4060 16Gb Graphics card and a secondary monitor – the performance is great and actually limited by my hardware, not the cable. I run at full HD flawlessly which is no surprise as the cable is rated far higher than that, the quality off the connectors is great and the cable itself is nicely braided, works perfectly.
This cable performs well. It is well-constructed, with a braided cable and supports where the cable enters the plugs. Compared to some other HDMI cables we have, this one is quite flexible, though it is still reasonably chunky.
Specification wise, I would say this is a middle of the road 4K HDMI cable. Have been using it now for over a week, faultless, so we have zero complaints. If you require a 4K 60Hz 5m cable, this is a safe bet.
I needed a longer HDMI cable to connect my PS4 to my PC for streaming so plumped for the 5m (15 foot) cable which is exactly what I needed.
Being braided, this will withstand a lot more than a usual HDMI cable although this toughness also means its not as flexible as other HDMI cables. The HDMI inputs are well built and will last for a long time.
There are a number of lengths available in this listing, from 0.5m right up to 15m. Overall, an excellent strong HDMI cable
Decent quality cable, nice braided outer sheath with what appears to be solid connectors at either end.
It worked fine connected to my 4K TV and gave the 4K resolution from my Xbox to the TV.
Recommended.
Overall a good quality cable it seems. Transmits 4K signal just fine between my laptop and external monitor, even to the projector I have.
The main cable is thick and braided. It’s a little stiff but still bends and conforms to shape as you’d expect. Perhaps don’t coil it too tightly if you’re storing in a bag though.
The connectors are really well formed with good cable strain relief at the shoulders. Accurately lengthed too.
Signal seems solid enough, no artefacts or signal drops. It’s a simple item but a crucial one that gets overlooked. Feels really well made to be fair. Priced reasonably too.
Not been able to verify the 4K support (hence the 4 stars) of the cable but works fine with the likes of games consoles, Blu-ray player. All worked well. Got the 2M length.
Good quality braid, didn’t tangle with other cables and came with a handy Velcro tab to ensure the extra length can be coiled up or use as a cable management with other cables.
Price was 9.99 at the time.
