Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again Great for birthday/Christmas gifts.
My grandson loved making this model with me. He’s only 6 but with my help he put it all together to get the finished model.
There are a lot of pieces to assemble and it takes a couple of hours while following the instructions.
Once completed the model becomes a sturdy play toy an can be used in many ways.
The model is articulated in several ways and can be posed in lots of different positions.
The overall design is very sturdy and can withstand quite rough play be children.
The model is also compatible with other MEGA toys.
Verdict: This is a well made toy/model but the 45 price tag reflects the genuine Pokemon branding.
My 12 year old loved building this! He said the pieces were a little fiddly and the instructions were qt times confusing. Easy to help him with though and now he has a cute little bulbasaur.
Genuinely a great gift idea
Lovely lego (well mega block) set, relatively easy to complete but age appropriate, woth supervision could get away with a little younger. A hit that can be played with once built. Recommended.
This is a really good kit, it is however quite complex but that is in no way a criticism just that it does take quite a bit of time to construct.
I actually built this with my 15 year old daughter and we had a great time.
The parts are all well made and the instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow.
This is a perfect present for a Pokmon fan. The Lego comes in individual numbers bags and the instructions are really easy to follow. The booklet shows you which bag to use and clear pictures of how to put it together. Will be so much fun building this with my grandaughter who lives anything Pokmon. Excellent quality Lego.
This is a great building toy. Once built you have a Bulbasaur and he has lots of moving parts that make it a fun action fiture. It even looks good as a desk ornament! The pieces are good quality, and well made so they click together as you would expect. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and it takes about an hour or so to build. I think 10 is a good age for this if building on their own, but might also be suitable for younger kids who love building things, with a bit of adult help every now and then.

My son loves his Pokmon and was massively excited when I surprised him with this. Just like the other big brand the instructions are set out well and the parts are separated into bags associated to sections of the build guide. As you can see from the pictures the final result is great and now it takes its pride of place on a shelf with all the other Pokmon figures he has.
My Son isn’t quite the 10+ recommended but didn’t have any issues finishing this in one longer sitting although there are some slightly more fiddly parts that may need some extra pressure to hold them together a little more securely.
Overall this is a good set that my Son really enjoyed building even if it wasn’t the most complex.
A perfect addition for any pokemon lover, building your on giant bulbasaur figure. Comes well presented in a cardboard box showing you a picture of the finished make front and back. You get to make a 7inch model of bulbasaur, use him in play or as a display piece. Movable legs to have it in a standing position or led down. 789 brick style pieces, which keeps you entertained for some time, getting through each section. An enjoyable build with no really difficult sections. All the pieces fit together well and are recognisable. The instructions are easy to understand and follow putting each piece in the correct order. A nice starter set or an additional add on to a mega pokemon build set. Made one little pokemon lover very happy.
I guess this would be easy enough for 8 years+ with a little help and 10 years+ without; the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I confess I got this for my adult son who is and always has been obsessed with two things, Lego and Pokmon!!!
Although this isn’t real Lego, it’s practically the same thing and the delight in his eyes when I gave him this was priceless. He thoroughly enjoyed building it and I’d say there’s probably a lot of adults out there who’d get as much fun if not more out of this than the kids will !!!!
I enjoyed watching my godson building this, it kept him entertained for hours. To be honest, even for kids, it is rather easy to slowly construct. the instructions offered easy-to-follow steps and gave hours of entertainment, with a rewarding end result.
This set is great for the Pokmon lover who likes to build. My seven-year-old godson was able to do this mostly on his own. There were a couple of tricky spots where he did need my help, but he built this mostly independently.
He likes to play with it now that it is built as well. However, It offers versatility in both being an item for display purposes or something that can be played with.
All in all, a great set that will entertain those Pokemon lovers among us, both kids and adults. Highly recommend.
Our son is looking forward to building this set although he is only five so we need to find some time on a rainy day when we can both sit down and build it together. You get quite a few blocks and I think having a quick look in the box at the instructions that this build would be beyond him building it by himself. We have had quite a few building block sets from MEGA before and the instructions have always been clear and concise, with the added bonus of having the Pokmon franchise rights so the only place you can get Pokemon figures in block form. Looking in the bags all the blocks look good quality and will of course be compatible with Lego blocks for further creative builds.
LOve the detail in this and nice mini build. I am a huge Pokemon fan anyway being a 90s kid back in the day. Mega is similar to lego, the quality is great and you get step by step instructions to help you build your charcter. I already have Pikachu so its great to have Bulbasaur to join him. 355 pieces and took about 45 minuts to build. One for tour collection and suitable for children aged 8 or over and as a guy in his 30s , I approve.
