Transparent Acrylic Design

The high-permeability 9-layer acrylic shell can directly see the status of the internal indicator light

40mm big cooling fan

The PWM fan can adjust more intelligently to keep the temperature of the Raspberry Pi within a safe range.

4Pcs Copper Heatsinks

Copper has a higher thermal conductivity than aluminum, transferring heat to the heat sink surface faster.

I’ve tried a couple of other Pi5 cases before this one and they were very lacklustre in their performance while also being very heavy. Passive cases, sadly, aren’t it for the Pi5.
However just by having this simple 40mm fan in a nice acrylic case, the temps go down a lot. Easy access to all the ports you need, fan control works as it should and it’s actually quite fun to assemble too.
Very happy with this case and fan combo.

A basic actively cooled case for the RPi 5. The case design follows ones i’ve used before on earlier Raspberry Pi computers, adding a layer at a time. The included head sinks OK, nice copper ones, but don’t seem to have as many fins as others. Had to assess the effectiveness of them without a lot of testing.

The fan is your typical small fan, but it is installed with the exposed blades upwards with no protection on the case which seems poorly thought out. There should be a grill over the exposed blades. it is fairly tall on account of housing the fan. This makes installing any hats difficult, there is no header extender to mount the hat above the case, so you’ll need to purchase anything like that separately – other cases sometimes include them.

Overall it does the job, but it could do with a little refinement in places.

Really good case, looks super cool and is quite functional. Mine is currently still running like a charm. I even got the same case for the rpi5 later (slightly different but same brand). You can attach half a mesh tea ball as a protective grid on top of the fan, for a steampunk look.

I ordered this for my Retropie setup and I’m pretty happy with it. The case is well designed, if a bit rough and ready, and provides a snug fit for my Raspberry Pi 5. It also allows easy access to all the ports and connectors that I need.

I haven’t had any over heating issues while using it. The ventilation holes seem to allow proper airflow and the heat sinks are doing their job.

The case comes with an easy to follow manual making installation a breeze.

Overall I’m very happy with the case. It provides the protection, and cooling, that I was looking for.

Made from multi-layer plexi/acrylic its a funky aesthetic that personally I like more than the official case.
Hole in the top facilitates the use of active cooling with fan and heatsinks.

The heatsinks are OK, I would have preferred slightly taller fins to give more surface area for improved cooling. The fan is a basic 40x10mm fan that’s nothing to write home about really.

The only thing I would say is that it would have been nice for the fan to have some kind of grille over the top to prevent fingers being poked into the blades (or the paws of animals, my cat is curious).

This raspberry pi 5 case is awesome, I really like this case and it’s futuristic design, the case features a built in cooling fan that directly plugs into the raspberry pi board and open vents at the rear and side to evenly distribute heat away from the board. This kit is made from very strong plastic and being fully transparent it really does look the part once assembled. Assembly takes about 5 minutes and comprises of a layered stack system complete with easy to follow diagram. Overall this case is amazing and excellent value for money so highly recommend. Thankyou.

    5.0 out of 5 stars It's awesome

This case is good, and the included heat sinks and fan are functional and nice to have. The case itself is made up of various layers of an ABS like plastic, and this design choice can lead to certain parts not being perfectly flush , which could grate on some.

Overall, it’s fine. It’s not going to blow any minds, but it is functional and works as advertised.

The Miuzei case is a great choice for Raspberry Pi 5 enthusiasts who require effective cooling solutions—equipped with a fan that efficiently dissipates heat, cooling the board in prolonged use. This feature is especially beneficial for users running intensive processes on their Pi.
The inclusion of heatsinks in addition to the cooling fan enhances temperature regulation, which is crucial for performance and longevity.

This case has a striking design. The transparent acrylic form has a cool and modern look. The cutouts provide good access for ports and connections, and you can see the gubbins of the main board as it works.

Overall, the construction is adequate, but the case material is possibly less robust than a mobile device or micro PC; however, for 10.99 at the time of writing, I think it is good value.

In conclusion, the Miuzei case is well worth consideration for its effective cooling system and funky design. It offers an excellent balance of form and function, making it an ideal accessory for the Raspberry Pi 5 Model B 8GB/4GB, and it is competitively priced.

The Miuzei case is a strong pick for people needing good cooling. The fan in it helps to get rid of heat, keeping the perfect coolness while using it for a long time. The clean look of the case makes it stylish and also lets you see what’s inside theRaspberryPieasily. But, the general construction could be better and some parts fit a bit too much. Even though this box has a few small problems, it works well in keeping things cool. So if people care about stopping overheating they should choose this one even though working with its pieces might be complicated because they fit very tight together. tower cases like such could help you stop your room from getting too hot; however putting it all together may need more effort than Even though that may be true, the case is still a good option for people looking to get quick cooling and an attractive container for their Raspberry Pi 5B.

I’m quite impressed with this case for the new Raspberry Pi. It’s made from multiple layers of high quality acrylic with several layers being clear thus enabling you to still see the Pi inside. It’s very similar to another brand I’ve bought for previous versions of the Pi and it’s of equally high quality and detailing which provides access to all the ports and GPIO whilst covering and protecting the Pi snuggly at the same time. Unlike the other brand I’ve used this one includes the heatsinks and cooling fan which would normally be add-on accessories and they are welcome additions as they make great improvements to temperature control and air flow over the compact computer. Whilst Miuzei also make a version of this case with black layers instead of the clear ones, I’d like to see additional colours on offer to allow further personalisation. Highly recommended.

“Miuzei Case for Raspberry Pi 5 with Fan Cooling” price when reviewed 10.99

This case is simple but effective, it has easy to follow instructions, good build quality and the fan is quiet. The optional rubber feet for the case do a good job of dampening the vibration from the fan and are well worth using. The only drawback is that tweezers are advised for fitting the fan, but are not included in the kit.

In the box you get the case for the Pi 5, four individual heat sinks, a fan and four rubber feet. The heat sinks feel quite weighty and look like they are made of copper. They each have self adhesive backing that you simply peel the protective layer off and the place on the relevant chip on the Pi motherboard. Although there are four of them, I have only bothered with the main one on the CPU. The case itself is the layer style, where you just have layers of plastic, each approx 3mm thick that are laid on top of each other to construct a case. There are openings in the required places for ventilation, fan, GPIO pins, USB connectors and network connectors. The case itself doesn’t feel great quality and it all looks a bit DIY and roughly put together in places. Looking at the price and what you get for your money and the finished product, the phrase that comes to mind is “It’ll do”.
