I love this product and the price to get a fantastic product and was so pleased with the price it should have been 199 but I got it for 94 pound with a 53% of I would recommend it to anyone
Always love to buy a morphy branded product. Great quality and exactly made for purpose. The window makes its easier to see the food cooking with not needing to keep opening the draw. Fits nicely in my cupboard too
This ir fryer does not take up much room on worktop, but it is so good at cooking small batches of food. It is idal for one person or two elderly persons with smaller appetites.
A quick and easy way to cook. This is a smaller cooker and ideal for two people. Takes up little counter space and easy to use. I use liners into the basket to ease cleaning.
Makes incredible chips/fries, cod goujons, garlic bread. Incredibly easy to use and clean, possibly doesn’t get right up to the indicated temperature but other than that no issues. If you’re cooking for more than two people you’ll probably need something with more capacity
Nothing wrong with the product. Pricing an absolute joke. 85 then 90 then 99 on day of purchase. Bigger joke the day after receiving 80 in an email if I want to purchase again. Absolute cashing in on the electric price rises
After owning two air fryers of a different make and that sounded like jets taking off, this one is like is it on? Bliss. UPDATE Unfortunately it takes forever to cook anything.
This is my first air fryer and honestly how did i go so long without one. The food is healthy and cooked to perfection. I made biscuits in it and I don’t think I’ll ever use the oven again. Highly recommended, I love it.
Fast and easy to clean. I bought the brand as a friend gifted me same which I used for 3years before it packed up even though it wasn’t new. I believe the brand is great, hopefully it last as the old one
Not used it much since purchase, primarily to do chips; they work better in this with regular potatoes than sweet potatoes and you probably need more oil than you think to get a good crisp result. At the price compared to the alternatives I’m not going to be too hard at this stage; you do however need to be prepared for the sheer size of this and hopefully have space to hide it away in the kitchen. It’s not far off the proportions of a Henry vacuum cleaner!
The item is good and works well but I have only used it on two occasions. It’s a little bulking and the dials on it are old school but for the price, can’t complain.
We are actually very impressed with this thing and have found ourselves using it more than we thought we would (or should!). Chips, sausage, chicken all come out nicely if drier than in an oven. However, if I was to buy again I would upgrade to an air fryer that has twin drawers.
This is a sizeable product – roughly twice the size as my 4 slice toaster. Not this brand, but all air fryers.
The drawer is only 1/2 the size of the product, with the cooking basket even smaller. Not this brand, but all air fryers.
I tested 1 packet of tofu in the air fryer, and another packet of tofu in my microwave oven (convection oven like the air fryer). You can see both packets in the photo – can you tell the difference? I couldn’t. Neither through taste.
The basket is so very small that it would not hold a full chicken. You have to decide if this is worth the price and the counter space, for what is a convection oven.
Not for me. I will continue to use my microwave convection oven, and when my cooker dies, I will upgrade to one with a convection oven.
I’ve had this a week and have used it every day. It warms up in 3 mins and cooks evenly with minimal oil. So far as well as the obligatory chips I have roasted vegetables, onion rings and even a full English ( minus the egg) ! So pleased with this for providing 2 meals for my husband and I without having to turn on the oven and wait for it to warm up its a real time saver and a blessing on hot days when I don’t want to run the oven. Really happy with it.
My wife and I thought long and hard about buying another kitchen gadget, after all this is not the smallest piece of kit you are going to have in your kitchen and the age old problem of where does it live when not in use! So after some consideration we took the plunge and purchased “another”kitchen gadget. Well what a surprise it is just such a useful “little” gadget… everything we have cooked comes out crispy and beautifully “deep fried” with out any oil residues and much faster than if you throw the food in a cauldron of boiling oil! So if you are thinking about buying an air fryer you could do worse than this Morphy Richards model. Oh and find a good place to store it when you are not using it!!
We’ve been using this regularly for two months. I worried it would gather dust and never be used but it’s so easy to use and clean that it is now our go to for chicken breasts, nuggets, crips and chips. They all come out crispy, much better than in an oven. The interior basket is a bid fiddly when washing by hand but they go into the dish washer so no issues.. no smell and there’s minimal heat when using it..It sits on top of our microwave as it has enough air clearance underneath. The other half is always on WW and shes happy with it too as it uses a lot less oil..Theres 2 of us and I definitely wouldn’t buy a bigger one..
Best value air fryer. Very quiet indeed, does excellent frozen or real chips – which, to be frank, was main reason for buying it for me. For chips, I’ve found it best to just pull the tray out and agitate chips every 7 to 10 minutes depending on type/size of chips. Results are nice and crispy outside, lovely and fluffy inside. Takes about 30 mins for chips, which is longer than frying, but similar to oven chips. No smells, no mess, easy-peasy washing afterwards. It seems well made andI thought incredibly good value at just under 40! It even has a fold-down sturdy handle making it easy to move about. What’s not to like! Would certainly buy again. (P.S. – don’t know about cooking other things in it – you can do cakes, buns, chicken, meat or fish etc. as not tried that yet).
Easy to use. It’s also far quicker and cheaper to use than heating up a full oven. For that reason alone it’s a great buy. Results are baked rather than fried so depending on what you’re cooking the results will vary. Been pleased with some flaky pastry savoury rolls, even my chef husband was impressed by that. Cooking chips from raw is better than using frozen ones and it’s been great at reheating, such as a pie which I put in small tin foil tubs.
