we’ve been living with mould for the last year and whilst waiting to move house, i’ve discovered that using this sinus rinse really helps. So good that i bought one for my daughter and she loves it too. Never thought washing my nose out could feel so wonderful
Firstly rinsing your nasal cavaties is very uncomfortable like when you get sea water up your nose on holiday. The end result though is disturbingly good as all the gunk which has been blighting your nose comes gushing out. The results of breathing clearer will last for a few hours and you do feel better knowing that all the rubbish is no longer in your body.
I love how easy it is to use. I was a bit confused about how to work the thermometer – maybe mine was broken or the lack of instructions really got me confused. But for the most part, I can tell when the water has cooled enough after boiling to use – someone without that ability may struggle though.
Easy to use neti pot, the salt sachets are great, does what it says on the tin.
Ok! First time for everything, very unusual feeling but it does work well. The product comes with two different adapters so easy to choose what’s best for you. Instructions are on the side of the packaging so read before opening.
This is easy to use, breathing was much better after use. Swift delete very, has helped my husband’s snoring, he has sinus issues, and this has helped clear them. Needs a few applications.
Having had a sinus infection for a month I feel great after using this relive is instant felt bit odd to start with but nothing to worry about. Feel great for few hours now yesssss
Really good to use when you’re not well. Comes with enough salt to last a while and is relatively cheap. Plenty of attachments for all nostril sizes and easy to use.
This was the first time I have tried nasal irrigation and the set made it easy and far more straightforward than expected. I love the stick on temperature strip that allows me to get the water as recommended and the push system at the bottom of the plastic bottle is just genius.
I am also grateful that the advertisement had some short video showing me what to do and a week in I am surely breathing cleared and all my initial fears have gone
Is very easy to use. I’m not used to it yet and find it uncomfortable to use, but definitely works as the relief you get afterwards is worth the discomfort. Will get used to it as it’s getting easier every time.
So the theory is that this thing (and hundreds like it), will rinse out the ‘debris’ up your nose, thus making you able to breath beautifully. It comes with a little stick on thermometer thing that failed after the first use. Not great if you are not sure what 38 degrees actually is supposed to feel like – I didn’t, but using the thermometer for the one time it did work indicated that the temp is the kind of temp you’d wash your hands in – hotter than warm, but not burning. I used this out of desperation really, having had a blocked ear for about three days. It’s a strange sensation, not unpleasant. I thought it would be horrible like when water goes up your nose at the swimming pool, but actually wasn’t anything like that at all. It says NOT to use plain water, and so perhaps that is the difference (i’ve used water from the hot water tap, but with the included salt). Anyways, don’t expect loads of stuff to flush out, but I did find my nose felt ‘hydrated’ if you can believe it. 3 days later, my ear had cleared up. Was this to do with this flushing? Probably not, but I’ll continue to use this sparingly – I don’t want to interfere with my bodies natural state too much.
This may not be the most glamours thing to do but having previously had surgery for polyps and them flaring up causing pain and a blocked nostril. Reduced air flow has meant I have had no sense of smell and taste (unless spicy) for longer than I can remember. I thought I’d give this a shot and after 2 weeks my polyps has shrank, airflow increased. I can taste so much better and have been able to smell a few things and hoping it continues to improve. I haven’t suffered with hay fever since starting to use this. I rinse twice a day morning and night and it’s the best thing I’ve tried.
This is a decent neti pot. One advantage of this over some others is that the water release mechanism is “press and hold” – some others have a press to open, press again to close system, and it’s very easy to forget to press to close again when you have finished, meaning that next time you fill it, it will leak.
Another theoretical advantage is the inclusion of the temperature gauge strip (for the sake of comfort it’s a good idea to have the water at body temperature around 37C, and for the sake of hygiene it’s a good idea to boil the water first and then let it cool to body temperature). However it doesn’t really fit that well on the pot because of the combination of the depressions on the side and the curvature not leaving enough space. I actually ended up putting it on the other neti pot I have. Secondly, it turns out that it doesn’t actually work all that well, it takes a long while for the warmth to pass through the bottle and the small LCD indicators are not very bright or clear, so I’m still relying on my kitchen probe.
It comes with a decent supply of 30 sachets to start with – some manufacturers are very stingy on this front, but not here.
The Neti-Pot sinus rinse is a simple but effective way to clean your nasal passages.
You get everything you need in this kit to get started straight away: a neti-pot with adult nozzle and child nozzle, 30 x salt nasal rinse sachets, and a temperature guage. Simply add a salt sachet to 300ml of body temperature water and you’re ready to begin cleaning your nose.
It doesn’t feel right to invert the bottle so I was very surprised to press the button on the bottom and see water start to flow. It’s a nice gentle flow rather than a high force squirt so it’s a pleasant experience.
It has definitely improved my nasal drip and my nose feels much cleaner and clearer. Highly recommended.
This neti pot set contains everything required to clean your sinuses except sterile water.
The set comes in a plastic pack containing the bottle, 2 spouts one for adults and one for children, 30 salt sachets and an adhesive thermometer to stick on the bottle. The instructions are written on the outside of the packet and are not very easy to read. You may find it easier to watch the video on the advert.
You can either use 300ml of sterile water or boiled water that has cooled to the correct temperature. I found the stick on temperature gauge is very difficult to see, in fact I had to use a torch on it just to confirm I was at the right temperature. Once the water is at the right temperature add a sachet of the salt and the neti pot is ready for use. Make sure the water is within the correct temperature range
Open your mouth to shut of the back of your throat, you can hold your breathe but you do not have to. Tip your head sightly forward and to the side insert the spout into the upper nostril and press the button on the base of the pot, this allows a steady stream of the saline wash to enter the nose and drain out of the other side. You can squeeze the sides of the bottle to increase flow rate. Repeat on the other side.
I found it quite uncomfortable to use as my sinuses are very inflamed at the moment, I had the sensation of being upside down in the swimming pool or jumping in without holding my nose. My nose continued to leak saline for a minute or two after use. None of the saline got into my throat.
It is not the most pleasant sensation but with the hay fever season in full swing I am willing to try anything.
It is a good simple product for the price but the temperature gauge need to be improved.

The instructions are on the packaging and are difficult to make out, but to be honest, it’s not a difficult product to use. You must remember to open your mouth and breath through that though otherwise your mouth will fill up with saline! You don’t need to hold your breath but you do need to keep your mouth open.
You also get a sticky backed temperature bar which you stick on the bottle which helps you get the temperature of the water right as it comes up with an OK (or not) depending on the temperature — it takes a little while to get a readout.
I have used nasal sprays and so on for years, but never a nasal wash. My first use of it felt weird, but the feeling of the saline in the back of my nose reminded me of swimming in the sea wasn’t at all uncomfortable. My nasal passages certainly felt more open once I had drained the bottle, even though I didn’t see anything other than saline wash out into the basin. As others have said though, you do need to blow your nose gently as there is still some water up there once you have finished. I certainly thought I could breathe a little easier and hopefully might even lead to me snoring less when sleeping.
This retails for just under $20 dollars according to some reviewers so at this price it is a bargain for the UK. I don’t have experience of other devices to compare this with but even so, I am happy to give it 5 stars. If you have problems with a blocked up nose, then this sinus rinse kit is well worth investing in.
