I put off buying an air fryer for ages until persuaded when staying with a friend.
I read lots of reviews but so glad I bought the Ninja! It was on offer, so good value

Nothing not to like. Have a practically redundant pair of ovens. Never been a fan of sausages UNTIL cooked in the Ninja, no dried out skins just moist, moist, moist. For fish, vegetables and lots more you can’t go wrong. As for cleaning, literally swoosh out with hot soapy water and it’s done!

I bought this as my old air fryer had became outdated and I needed a larger basket. These baskets can hold plenty and the ability to sync both zones is really handy. It cooks quick and nothing ever sticks in the baskets. However the power cable is surprisingly short making it difficult to place anywhere but next to a wall without an extension lead.

As an ex navy chef this has to be the best thing i have bought to cook food. Not cheap. do not use the main cooker now.i can cook most dinners in around half an hour unless its a joint.

Purchased to replace an air fryer that had failed after 15 months of use. This time we decided to invest in a more expensive Ninja and we haven’t been disappointed. This model gives loads of options. We’ve used it every day since we’ve had it. The match and sync options for the separate drawers make preparing meals easy. Having three grandchildren to look after it’s a Godsend.

I purchased the 2 drawer Ninja .. There are only two of us !! But a lot of the recipes that I would cook needed a larger drawer.. so I bought the single larger drawer. Perfect .. plenty of space.. now I have 2 Airfryers !!

Heard about problems of other makes so went for top of the range (and price) but worth it! Multi options for cooking and no pre-heating necessary. Once you get your head around the cooking temperatures and times then it is a great addition to the kitchen!

I wonder why it took me so long to buy one! Just one observation, because the drawer is one big one with 2 separate compartments, if you are using both sides, you can’t tip up and pour out things like chips, roast potatoes, roast veg etc if you have things in the other side, which can be a bit of a pain.

We have used this pretty much every day since buying it. Cooks everything to perfection. It’s really easy to clean, heats up in 2 or 3 minutes. People say 10 minutes but i don’t see it being an issue putting things in cold there doesn’t seem to be a big difference and it probably saves energy not preheating. My only regret is not getting one soone

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely big square basket and very easy to clean. I haven’t been very adventurous yet as I’m a bit unsure about the different function buttons and which is the most appropriate to use. I end up googling an item and inevitably it gives the temperature in Fahrenheit which is so annoying! It airfries well but I need a wider range of recipes to try than those provided in the booklet supplied.

Only have a couple of weeks but found it much quicker than the ordinary fan oven. There is no need to preheat the air fryer saving abit of money and the cooking times are much shorter than the fan. the other is that you have the use to two drawers that can be set at different tamp and time very handy. All in all i am very well pleased.

This was my first air fryer. I purchased it on the knowledge that air fryers are quick and easy (and can be more healthy as less oil is required). This air fryer is exactly that. I am not much of a cook, but with this air fryer I am able to put together some nice meals quickly and reliably. Minimal effort is needed – you just stick the food in and then turn if necessary. Cleaning is straightforward. I am unsurprised by the high ratings.

My husband was hesitant about using an air fryer so when I bought this for my birthday it was a great excuse to get him to overcome his hesitation of using a air fryer. He loves it and we have rarely used our oven. It cooks in great time and we have been trying some lovely new recipes. Just make sure you get the hang of the temperature my husband burnt our chips a few times

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI’ve been late to the Air fryer party, mainly because i’ve seen too many epic fails online and I was resisting conformity for no rational reason. But due to recenly becoming more health conscious, I’ve been looking for alternative ways to cook healthier versions of the tasty fried foods we like with a lot less oil. So I bit the the proverbial bullet and just hurled myself onto the bandwagon. I am generally quite pleased with my purchase.

First thing I would say is that it is pretty powerful/heats up quickly which can be a blessing and a curse. It has taken a bit of getting used to balance the amounts of food vs cooking temp and time ratio without over/under cooking. The guide is a starting point to get the settings right but is not foolproof and yes I have carbonized a number of things (chips became wingnut-esque). However when you practice and start to “trust” it a bit (check/rotate through the cook) you can whip up meals mid week that you would probably only have time to do on the weekend with conventional methods. I don’t use the dual function too much, I cook more in the giant “megazone” and bought this model mainly for the bigger draw size so that there is space for the air to circulate, rather than trying too cram too much food in a small space which leads to uneven cooking. Only thing I miss from this model is being able to just take out the draw and shake contents which you can do more easily with single/small draw models, so I may get another smaller one for that reason if I manage to magic up some some counter space somehow.

Finally, this was on a deal when I bought it so I feel I got good value for money. I think Ninja makes quality stuff.

Had an old halogen lamp air fryer which was difficult to clean extremely noisy and blinding . It got thrown away long ago and we totally ignored fryers from then
We bought the Nija about three weeks ago and what a machine, very little been cooked elsewhere . It is quite large but designed to be easily cleaned. The cooking area is so easy to clean, and some cooking looks far better than on the stove as after we have been converted.
Is it going to save us money?? I don’t know but expect it will, the best feature is the time saved cooking a meal

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent addition to my cooking appliances, we only two but I’m glad I went for slightly larger model, would have been good if grill rack was included, I sent for one and it means I can now cook whole meal in one go. Also sent for Ninja recipe book, don’t bother with this it is aimed at American market, temperatures are in Fahrenheit and measures in cups! After only 10 days of owning my air fryer I am very pleased I finally joined my friends in their enthusiasm for cooking this way. Lastly appliance fits into my kitchen nicely hardly bigger than my espresso machine

I know alot is said about the power efficiency and cooking options of an air fryer and how it makes everything better but wow, this thing is awesome. It takes no time to pre-heat, uses probably half the energy of my oven and the different options are amazing, everything comes out perfect. It takes a little practice to get used to it as food generally cooks quicker, but everything that comes out of it once you nail it down is so much better than what you would get out of an oven. This thing was worth every penny.

    Brilliant quality.
    Super easy to operate.
Love the (super) non-stick draws and trays.
Maximum flexibility with dual draws that can heat independently, synced or matched.
Cook 2 separate things and different heats and timings.
Cook 2 draws matched in heat and time.
Or ‘sync’ draws, so that one draw starts cooking and the second one automatically starts cooking at the right time, that both end at the same time. (i.e. Something that needs 20 mins in draw 1 and something that needs 10 mins in draw 2… when synced, draw 2 only starts cooking when there are 10 mins left of draw 1’s cooking time.)

Only downside is, speaking as someone who like to wash up as they go, rather than coming back later, this does really need to cool before cleaning as the ‘crisper trays’ are incredibly difficult to remove and clean from a still hot draw without burning your fingers.

Ok so I’ve had this machine for three month now. I can honestly say we haven’t use the built in oven since we got it. It’s a fantastic piece of kit. We never preheat it. Just pop in what you’re doing and it cooks in half the time of a conventional oven. It’s also a cinch to clean No more horrid oven cleaning! I would definitely recommend this and if ours breaks I’m buying another one!

The minor niggles – Once you’ve set a programme and pressed start you can’t alter it. For instance if you want to change the temperature mid way it won’t let you. If you want to stop cooking in one side but not the other it won’t let you. You have to stop them both and start again. You have to stop it and reprogramme it and then press start again. I’d like to see Ninja address this. That said it’s really minor and don’t let it stop you getting one. Also this is good for up to four people. For a larger meal you’d need the main oven. It does two dishes so we steam vegetables on the hob.

Finally the reheat button is really disappointing. It takes forever. We use the microwave for this purpose.

With rising electric bills this thing will save you money and pay for itself over time. It also cooks nicer food than the oven so it’s a win win.

I can see the day coming when all new kitchens will have built in air fryers instead of ovens.

Get one you will not regret it!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHad this around 4 months and whilst I was sceptical about the ‘wonder’ of air frying I kept an open mind. Overall pleased with the results, but you do have to experiment with what you cook in it. If you’re a lover of ‘oven’ based food cooking for everything, then you’ll like it. But I find it’s dries food out and does not produce a fried finish, even when using spray oil, or normal oil during cooking. I liken it to a large hot air gun preying down on your food in the basket. However it’s relatively quicker to cook small batches of food, so ideal for one or two people and the odd snack, but to produce a whole meal for a family could be a trauma.

I’ve purposely kept an eye on the electric consumption and it is VERY marginal whether it saves energy. If you’ve already got a fairly old uneconomical main oven I guess you would see a cost saving, but I have high quality modern ovens that heat up very quickly and really found no difference in the energy usage during use. Baskets are a dream to keep clean and it looks good in the kitchen. Would I buy another ‘no’.

Be prepared to have to buy all new equipment to go with it. For instance what is a cake pot? I’m a U.K. male had to look it up to find out. Thought could put a piercing bowl in but no handle to lift so need to buy one and the silicone finger grabs. And on it goes I’m sure I’ll have to find new cupboard space?

We have been experimenting different ways of using the Air fryer and found that it is excellent for cooking most things. Most meat dishes are no problem but vegetables can be a bit tricky until you’re used to this method of cooking.
An excellent product, I recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI won’t repeat the features this Ninja Air Fryer has, as many previous reviewers have already outlined them. What I would say about this machine is that it is perfect for two people. For instance, take a simple meal such as Pukka pie & chips. 2 Pukka pies will fit perfectly diagonally in one of the trays. Enough chips to feed 2 people will be a simple thing to cook. 2 supermarket breaded / battered fish fillets also fit nicely sided by side.

Once you add in a 3rd person, things can get tricky. Adding a 3rd pie or fish etc. to the mix means you will need to position them on their sides to fit, which also means they will need regular turning to avoid the part nearest the heating element in the top of the unit browning faster than the rest of the pie/fish.

Adding a 3rd portion of chips will also mean constant shaking of the tray and to be honest, you will still probably end up with a few chips that haven’t browned and are still a bit raw. Trying to turn them with tongs or a wooden spoon just ends up with broken chips.

The instructions do warn you about overfilling the trays however, but don’t expect to get a lot of food in each tray without a lot of ‘shaking’.

Am I still happy with the Ninja? 100% yes! You just have to learn what is possible to get the best results.

Start by cooking small portions and you’ll soon learn how far you can push the quantity side of things. Cooking for a family of 4 means you would probably need to cook in batches, which might not work for you as keeping food warm in your main oven sort of defeats the object of an air fryer.

You can cook all sorts of delicious stuff like Peking crispy duck, Tempura king prawns, scampi, steak, chicken breasts, fabulous baked potato etc. etc. all cooked much quicker than a regular oven.

    Hope this helps.

This cooker is just brilliant! I absolutely love it. Saves time and effort. Cooks chicken far better than a conventional oven in a 3rd of the time. Still trying out different things to cook but so far so good. Really easy to clean. I love it.

It’s bigger than I thought it would be but is so easy to use. Having the sync button so that both drawers are cooked to same finishing time is a game changer. The drawers slide out and are so quick to clean. Doesn’t matter how burned on the food is. Takes a bit of getting used to how long to cook from my old Tower air fryer but it will come with time.
