I bought these to help increase the strength in one of my hands and try to recover from an injury. I had used other grippers pre-injury but they were too difficult and painful to use for the above purpose so I had to find something else. I decided to buy the pack of 2 because they were better value than individually. Also, I thought it would be good to have a spare in case one broke. Having tried one, my intention is to only use these on the weaker end of the range of tension available – this seems just about right for my injured hand and I’m hopeful it will do the job. Then, one day, I’ll go back to using my old grippers when able to. This way, I’m optimistic that these will last very well (obviously, using these on their most difficult setting would probably shorten their lifespan a bit). In terms of describing the tension of these on their easiest setting, I would guess almost anyone would be able to do reps comfortably – and they would be a good fit for any size of hand too. I’m very pleased to have something to hopefully help with the latter stages of my hand’s recovery, as it has been frustratingly slow to improve (2 months to get to this point).
I bought this product purely as a means to do some strengthening whilst sitting at my desk. The hand grip is solid with an easy to adjust dial to vary the tension between 10Kg and 60Kg. The grip has a rubberised coating which makes it easy to hold in a variety of positions.
The grip came with a pamphlet outlining multiple alternative ways to use the grip. I have been using it for two months and haven’t had any problems. The only minor complaint is that there has been som black dust residue from the spring mechanism but I’m sure it will subside over time. Nothing a wipe with a damp cloth on occasion won’t fix.
So far, I’m happy with the purchase and it does exactly as advertised.
This product is strong and well-made. It is adjustable from 10-60kg which suits everyone and is very effective providing you are consistent: after a month or so of consistent use there is a visible change in my strength and the appearance of my arm. It’s a real game changer! I would definitely recommend this!
They look nice, could come in a bag but it’s not the end of the world.
Initially bought to strengthen my grip n left hand when weight training. Started using it while working night shifts at my desk job. Doubles as a stress reliever which I’ve appreciated. Perfect for the price.
It’s hard to squeeze at first while adjusting it but everytime you use it, it gets easier to use especially if you suffer with arthritis.
I notice when I stop for a few days my hands goes stiff, so I continue to use it, it feels better again.
