Liked the strap lots of nonslip lining on inside of strap stopping goggles slipping off helmet not needed low light lens so far. Regular lens was fine in bright sunlight. So far so good
These comfortable goggles, adjustable for use with or without a helmet, did not mist up at all. The two lenses are easily interchangeable, with a simple strong magnetic attachment. Thoroughly recommend this product.
Bought these based on the reviews and I have to agree! I had zero fogging for the whole holiday, visibility is great
and the magnetic lens fitting is amazing. Nice to have a low visibility lens.
Strap is good and fitted my helmet with plenty of slack left.
Very impressed and no negatives I can think of so far.
Have used Oakley goggles for an age, but struggling to find replacement lenses. THe Oakley lenses were also a PITA to replace. Tried these on a recent trip and they were Ideal. Comfortable, good light /brightness control. The mirrored lense does bleed colour to the periphery of your vision but that really doesn’t affect normal visual performance. If you fall hard the lense does tend to pop out and run away (try not to stack it).
I fell hard a few times including a faceplant onto ice. The mirrored finish held up very well. Would recommend and definitely buy again.
Bought these for a trip to Cervinia . Forecast was variable with sun, cloud and heavy snow . Well constructed . Lenses fit and perform well . The low light performance I thought was better than my old Bolle visor helmet . Encountered no fogging or steam up. Happy with purchase in all respects.
A solid bang for buck product, the lens switching was very quick and easy and the magnetic operation was confident,
Lens view was great and the field of vision made for great confident performance
As all the shops seem to be out of season for trying and buying goggles it was proving very difficult to buy for my teenage glass wearing son. We ordered few from different on line stores only to be sent back.
So very delighted when these arrived and fit perfectly over his glasses.
They are much better quality and price than some more high end brands . Very impressed
I had been looking for some ski goggles that had magnetic interchangeable lenses. These were a bargain. The magnet is very strong but the lenses are very easy to change. I couldn’t recommend these highly enough. I am going to buy another pair for my son.
Worked great for my ski holiday, I scratched the lens because I dropped them on the floor but that was my fault. Looks good and we’re nice to ski in.
Bought a different value pair of goggles which had great reviews but were just too big to fit under my helmet. I returned those and got these ones instead. I’m so glad I did. These are brilliant goggles and look great. Used them for a week in varying conditions from clear blue sunny days to snowy, cloudy conditions. They performed brilliantly in all conditions, with no fogging or misting.
I got these goggles for my last ski trip and for the money, they are great value. Swapping between lenses is really easy, the magnets are very strong and secure, and both lenses are give good vision. The orange lens is good for low light, the mirrored lens good for medium to good light. They could be a little darker for bright sunny days, but I just swapped to my sun glasses. They didn’t steam up anytime, even though they were a very close fit to my helmet, which reduced the airflow around the edge.
There’s some reviews about them not being very resistant to scratches, but I can’t comment as I didn’t scratch them. You’d probably have to pay of Oakley lenses to get any kind of scratch protection! It would be good if you could just buy replacement lenses (the Odoland website suggests that you can, but I couldn’t find them on Amazon)
Two ‘bad’ points – My glasses wouldn’t fit (they’re 137mm wide) so beware of what it says in the description, good job I wear contacts when skiing! Secondly, the head band is quite tight when on a helmet and the adjustment buckle ended up being back centre, which is right where my helmet clip is, so to avoid that, I had to make the head band tighter. I think that made them feel like they were holding my eyes open more than normal.
I carefully read all the reviews on these and as I have not used them yet I can only comment on the build quality. First off though, to the reviewers who were expecting a grey lens – the grey lens in the photo depicts the anti-fog double layer of the lenses rather than a separate lens.
The goggles come wrapped in a plastic bag within which is a micro fibre lens bag, small lens wipe, instruction booklet orange lens and of course the goggles fitted with the reflective lens. Both sets of lenses are double walled with a protective film to remove from the inside prior to use. The lenses are secured by small magnets, the centre lower one of which on my set, is set at a slightly odd angle within the black plastic frame, but nonetheless does not seem to cause any issue. The lens snaps into place on the magnets reassuringly. The black frame appears to be of reasonable quality and has foam top and bottom to reduce snow ingress whilst remaining breathable. The padding is significantly thicker than my old Bolle lenses and so the goggles are fairly pronounced from the face, but when all wrapped up snug and warm and with a helmet on this will be less noticeable and I don’t have any other dedicated ski goggles to compare these to anyway! The strap is of sound quality with silicone grip lines as expected.
As with all reflective lenses they are susceptible to scratching so needless to say great care should be taken not to place these face down and to avoid touching the lens. The lenses do not appear to offer any specified impact rating. I am unsure if other brands do but might be worth a look if you’re in the market for a super expensive set!
All in, I am happy with my purchase and will look forward to having the option to change lenses especially when switching from Scottish conditions to Alpine conditions. Only time will tell how well the anti-fog system works but I have no reason to doubt it.
