This is a fantastic brush set for my car wheels. There’s different brush sizes for most styles of alloys so you can get in between the spokes etc and it makes cleaning the alloys a breeze. There’s also a brush for scrubbing the side walls of your tyre and I’ve had some great results with this set.
Overall it’s a perfect well made set for getting into those awkward gaps and can recommend if you are after a set like it.
For those who are a little precise over how they clean their car then this is certainly the kit for you.
I have different micro-fibre cloths for glass(exterior/interior) for general cleaning, for heavy duty cleaning, for fabric mopping etc.
I have a pre-wash bucket with a grit stand in the bottom, snow foam applicator, hot water jet wash/steam cleaner, detail brushes for the interior and exterior small spaces but only a couple of thread bare brushes.
This kit fulfils any shortcoming I had previously for keeping tyre and wheel cleaning and then some. The stone remover for the tyres is a little bit of genius and actually stays in my car now. I’m not going to try and pretend I know exactly what each brush is for, the detail brush has joined my other interior details brushes and the wire brush is extremely useful for cleaning the calipers with wheel off.
I now keep any other brushes separate from these and that way can avoid any brake dust residue or other road oils etc from contaminating my main cleaning kit.
At a price of 16.88 this isn’t bad value at all for a very comprehensive set. It’s now completed my personal cleaning kit and I am very happy with it.
These did a great job at cleaning the wheels on my new car. You know, when you do an ‘everything clean’.
Soft bushes and firm ones. Even an implement for picking stones out of the tyre tread.
The soft brushes can bend to reach different areas too.
However there were a couple of things that could be improved –
A bag to hold the brushes – once they’ve been used they can easily be lost or roll away.
Also – a list of which brush is best suited to which task.
Otherwise – good quality
Great variation of brushes to clean wheels including larger/smaller microfibre and a tool to remove stones and other debris from tyres. Basically comes with EVERYTHING you will need to clean wheels/tyres and all the tools are well made and feel like they will last a long time. Very reasonably priced
There are lots of options with this wheel cleaning kit which I was keen to try after previous brushes I had couldn’t really get into the nooks and crannies of my alloy wheels. The various brushes definitely help getting my wheels clean but I’ve found that when dealing with really dirty wheels, when a bit more elbow grease is required, some of them felt a bit flimsy and bent too easily, meaning they didn’t do a great job. So I’d say you’re getting what you pay for here; decent job but not amazing.

Car Cleaning is my thing. If I’m not driving it, I’m cleaning it. And I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect wheel cleaning set for a while. This one is a set of 7.
A big soft spoke cleaner. A smaller soft spoke cleaner. A standardish wheel brush. A dish brush type scrubber for wheel arches. A small wire brush. A small thin brush. And a pointy metal thing.
So, the big spoke cleaner. Holds a lot of water, but the thin metal inside bends too easily, making it hard to clean the wheel using just the handle. Likewise, the small spoke cleaner bends too easily, but this is useful for tight places. The standardish wheel brush is a little short on hair. My standard one has far more brush bits and cleans far better, but this one is a little underdressed to do a perfect job. The dishwash type brush is perfect for wheel arches. I’m not sure what the tiny wire brush is for, but I’m sure I’ll find a use for it one day, so it’s in the toolbox. The small brush is like a detailing brush, but a little stiff. Good enough though, and great for cleaning around your nuts. There is also a metal pointy thing. I have no idea what it’s for. I’ve been detailing my own car for years, and have never seen, or needed a metal pointy thing. If anyone knows what it’s for, please let me know. Maybe I’ve not been cleaning something properly. It’s the toolbox anyway.
This is a good set, while not exceptional, it does the job well enough. And I’m fussy!
Having revived a set of car cleaning cloths, was keen to give the wheels some long overdue attention!
This set gives everything you need for wheel cleaning, I started off with some spray on wheel cleaner then agitated with the ‘multifunctional’ brush and the tapered brush, between the wheel ‘spokes’ which seemed to get a lot of the baked in dirt moving. The outer surface was then scrubbed with the wheel brush then the complete wheel flushed with a bucket of water.
I then used the two bendable brushes to clean again between the ‘spokes’ of the wheel, which removed a lot of material that otherwise looks like it would have dried back in again.
In use I found the tapered brush was very bendy, good to get into awkward corners but did mean you had to hold it low down when you wanted to apply a bit of pressure to the area you are cleaning.
The two bendable brushes also bent a bit in use, but generally held their shape sufficiently so was good to get into awkward corners without over bending, though used these more for wiping so was not trying to apply as much pressure. Good to have the two different sizes.
The detailing and wheel brushes both worked exactly as expected, with the bristles being sufficiently stiff for the intended purpose (detailing brush is fairly soft, wheel brush fairly stiff)
The addition of a stone picking tool (with its hidden screwdriver head!) and the small stainless wire brush complete the set.
The wheels on our car are not in the best condition, so cleaning them revealed a multitude of scuffs and deterioration, however generally improves the appearance of the car by having clean wheels.
The clean was not perfect, with several patches of brake dust residue that did not shift, perhaps needs a different wheel cleaning spray to break them down, but not a reflection on the brush set at all.
Good selection of tools, look like they should give a decent life span and certainly gave the right range of tools to complete the process.
