Great piece of Kit.
Very well constructed , ultra bright , I found it very quick to charge.
Rechargeable , comes with rechargeable battery and 3X AAA batteries.
Charging cable included.
All in all highly recommended.
Very nice torch with a good solid construction. Not remotely as bright as 20000lm as stated but still a little brighter than my Ledlenser P7R which is 1000lm but it does have a much whiter light than the P7R. I’d say it’s closer to 2000lm. Also has an adjustable beam with a very nice clean wide round beam. Doesn’t come close in brightness to my Sofrin SP33S which is rated for 5000 lm. It’s a bargain of a torch really for the money. For what it is for the money it gets 5/5 from me
Not a bad torch but not great, spot bean is a square and not very good, wide beam is ok. There are better out there. seller was very good and most helpful and would not hesitate to buy from them again.
01/01/24 EDIT: I was contacted by BEYSTE directly who were also disappointed the torch stopped charging. They offered a full refund which I accepted. They did not ask me to amend my review as a condition or even as a consideration. Their refund was unconditional.
This is excellent customer service and deserves the amendment to 5 stars for that.
Not particularly reliable. Have only used it occasionally indoors to go to the bathroom at night without disturbing the family. Stopped charging at the 10 month mark. No warranty information online or on the product page.
I have torches from 2020 still working great with more outdoor use since then. Disappointing product.
My previous lcd torch is going wrong after a lot of service. This one is to replace it. Larger, heavier but much brighter. I am able to use the batteries from the old torch as an adapter is included. Very pleased.
Lovely bright widespread light. Battery supplied was only half ‘full’ and seemed to go quickly. However, I’m hoping when I buy replacements they’ll be better. The metal case is very cold so gloves in winter would not go amiss. I’m still pleased as price was good and it does fit the hand well.
Well engineered and built. Extremely bright beam from 3 tiny AAA batterie’s which were included . You can change the beam from very concentrated to wide angle by a smooth slide of the lens. Although the distance beam focuses into a square shape with a cross in it ? Also a large rechargeable battery included. The digital read out only shows the charge in the big battery. Very sturdy but lite weight. Also included a tiny Key Ring torch, carrying straps, a bag and instruction manual. This is an excellent product and I am very pleaded with i
A very good weight to this torch. I’ve found it very useful from finding dropped items in the car, to helping a sibling sort out their car in the pitch dark, to making sure my path to my front door via the back of the house is safe. Gives a Very bright light. Weird that if you male the focus area smaller, you see a 4 section grid in the beam. Unclear whether its for targeting or what. Charging was not easy. Shows power left in LED mini window. Can also knock a person out if given half the mind to.
So far seems a great product. I have used it for about half an hour only (lighter nights) and battery still showing 95% charged. The torch is incredibly bright, even on lowest setting with great coverage and adjustable focus. The beam is a square which came as a surprise but not a problem. Only possible downside is that there was no mention of waterproofing and they do tell you in the instructions to wipe down the inside if it gets wet. Having said that, it has seals on all points of access, the pushbutton is rubberised and the charging port has a rubber cover. Will see how it goes.
Price had been discounted and there was another offer when I went on line to check this out. The previous torch I got from Amazon wasn’t very good so opted to pay some more money and go for this.
I like that you can charge it or use the 3 AAA batteries supplied with the torch. I intend to keep this torch in my car with it charged and the AAA batteries close at hand so I should always have a usable torch.
I doubt it’s 14000 lumens but it is a very bright torch with an adjustable beam. On the widest flood it lit up my full garden. 5 modes and happy it has an SOS mode due to keeping in the car.
Got a small key ring torch with it as well. Not very bright but supposedly to be used to check for counterfeit bank notes. How effective this is I have no idea as cannot recall any occasion when I have knowingly received any counterfeit money.
I’ve now bought 5 or 6 of the high powered torches from Amazon but this is the one I’d keep coming back to re-buy as it’s so much better than any of the others. It’s not just that it’s one of the brightest available but the real clincher is that 3 digit battery gauge. With so many other torches it’s all going well then, before you know it the torch suddenly gives up and dies. But with this one you always know exactly what percentage of battery remains as the 0-100 battery reading is pretty accurate. That makes this the “must buy” torch among all the others here (and like I say I have tried many of them)
The whole making a beacon in the sky with it zoomed in? Yea that’s real. I actually laughed when I did it and there was a genuine beacon in the sky.
Even the lowest brightness is still far brighter than any torch I’ve ever seen or used.
The digital display was being slightly odd the very first time I used it and tried charging it, saying it was at 0% at first, then quickly went up to 99% after charging for a bit, but stayed there for a long time, think it just needed a full charge to know what 100% is, because once it finally did get to 100% it works perfectly!
Definitely recommend.
I was interested in it primarily because of its brightness, rated as 15k lumens. Unfortunately, I don’t possess a luminometer, so the best I can do is compare it with other torches. My brightest torch is one that is rated in its advertising as 10k lumens. And this supposed 15k lumen torch appears to be just as bright as the 10k torch. That’s with the included rechargeable Li-ion battery. Using the AAA battery element instead, it is noticeably less bright than the 10k torch. But that’s to be expected, as these lithium-ion batteries have more power-density. I’m slightly disappointed that this torch isn’t brighter than my 10k lumen torch, but then again, I can’t be sure about its actual power. But I’m happy enough with it. But the 10k torch is less expensive, so I have paid more for the same level of light.
A charging cable was included, but rather than having a USB-A connector and either a USB-C or micro-USB connector on the other end, both ends have USB-C. Depending upon the adaptor you have, that may or may not be all you need. Having collected many USB cables over the years, I already had a good selection of usable charging cables.
The triple-A battery adapter works fine, but if you leave the rubber o-ring the adapter comes with attached, it is very difficult to remove the adapter, even with the battery shuttle removed! I find that leaving the o-ring off doesn’t cause a problem, though it might cause limited rattling if you do leave it off. I didn’t find this objectionable.
Other reviews I read included complaints about the suitability of the some of the included components, but everything in my package was just fine. One reviewer was bothered that the keyring light that was advertised was not provided, but I can tell you that this item (which I received) is nearly useless. It’s just a rather weak light-blue LED light that is barely better than nothing at all.
Overall, I’m happy with this torch.
Be aware it’s not true USB-C charging, i.e. it won’t charge using a USB-C to USB-C cable, it needs a USB-A to USB-C cable (provided). You also have the option of using the ubiquitous 18650 battery with the included sleeve, but this won’t last as long as the 26650. I’ve never tried it with the included AAA batteries, however I would think this would be if you’re really stuck. I like the pouch that comes with it, and the UV keyring gift is useful!
To sum up, a reasonable flashlight but don’t believe the 15,000 lumens!
I bought it thinking the rechargeable battery was 500mah rather than 5000mah. Enough power for a torchlight and you could use 3 AAA batteries if you want but except as a back-up, why waste money when it comes with a rechargeable battery which can be charged using your phone cable.
After testing the torchlight in pitch darkness, my eyes took about 20 minutes or so to overcome the residual effect from the brightness emitted even though I didn’t point torchlight directly into my eyes (would had been mad to do that). I’m into subwoofers not torchlights so for me, I’ve never seen torch so bright especially at this cost. There are others far brighter I’m sure but guys, this is well made. Zooming in/out is so gentle, it is like a mini hydraulic hand-press.
While lens remains at normal temperature casing starts to get very hot after a few minutes. Whether after a few hours of persistent use hotness would increase to unbearable level during warmer weather, I do not know. People buying for hiking in place like Africa where it is always hot need to reflect on this aspect. You could just wrap a towel around it anyway.
I’m not sure how long this thing is going to last yet I recommend it if you’re looking for a better torchlight for outdoors use.
