Outstanding value for money. I do not like big watches, this is small but you can still easily read the face and very elegant. It’s slim and not heavy, but not flimsy. I like that it comes with a removable extender. Without the extender it fits my wrist perfectly – I usually wear a 7.5 inch bracelet. I love the touch of sparkle too as I’m a bit of a magpie.
Great value, I hope the gold tone lasts over the years. Elegant watch. Had to buy a watch strap resizing took to take out a few links but was easy to adjust. Good quality for the price, love it. Cartier vibes without the price tag.
I’d been trying to find a new watch for a long time. You know that situation where you end up boring yourself because you’re looking at the same stuff over and over again, but nothing’s quite right? In the end, I spotted this and thought why not? It’s very elegant, goes with everything, and although it’s much smaller than I’d usually wear – I tend to wear 38mm+ faces – I figured that, at this price, it was hard to argue with.
For the most part, I was right. It’s easy to read with a clean, sleek look. Someone else mentioned in their review that it’s clearly an “homage” to a Cartier design, which is probably why I like it. (Let’s face it, they make nice watches!) This design avoids all the glittery crap that so many watch designersseem convinced that women want, which means it wins extra points in my eyes.
One of the things mentioned in the reviews I read pre-purchase said this watch is great for small wrists. I’m not sure what constitutes small, but my wrist is 6″ in circumference and despite having multiple links removed, it still doesn’t sit quite as I’d like to just behind the wrist bone. Still, if you have a 6.5-7″ wrist, I think you’ll be fine.
This watch that has exceeded all my expectations. It has an exquisite design, slim profile and refined finish, instantly exudes an air of elegance and sophistication. The stainless steel strap feels comfy secure on my wrist. Also the strap features two lockers, providing added convenience for adjusting its size. From the moment I put it on, I’m reminded of its timeless allure. I wholeheartedly recommend this watch to any women who appreciate both style and substance.
This is a nice looking watch at a reasonable price which I bought because like other reviewers I couldn’t properly see the time on my existing watch. I have had it running for almost 24 hours and it is accurate and I can see the time. I have taken off a star because of the ridiculous performance in downloading the manual which is just a single sheet and has to be enlarged before it is readable. There will be many people not able to do this – surely it would be possible to produce a printed one as it serves several different watches in the range? I have small hands and wrists so the bracelet was too large and looking at the instructions to remove a link calling for a tool and following an arrow was at a loss. Having looked at the bracelet again I realised that 1 link could be taken off just by unclipping it which I did and the bracelet fits fine. I have shown the model I have in the title – basic – just tells the time but cannot understand why this isn’t made clear how to adjust the bracelet, basically 1 extra removeable link. Maybe there are many now saying “Well I knew that” but thought it worth a mention. Watch is very nice and neat so can recommend.
I read the reviews from other customers and sent for this watch. The watch was really nice. Received it the following day, but was to small. Asked the seller if they could send me 2 extenders for the strap. which I offered to pay for. Contacted seller.Waste of time, so had to return it. If you have a 7inch wrist it will be fine.
I got this watch as a gift for a friend. The watch it self is nice– it has good weight, and seems well made. I got the gold colour and it really is a beautiful look.
If you’re getting it as a gift, I highly recommend sending to yourself, not directly to the recipient for two reasons. 1. The battery was dead when it arrived. I had enough time to replace it before gifting it, but it cost an additional $25, and was a bit of a hassle to arrange, so that’s something to consider. Once the battery was replaced it worked perfectly, and the watch repair fellow said the watch seemed in good working order. and 2. The watch was in a plastic sleeve in the box, which I understand to keep it scratch-free, however it does not look very elegant when you first open it. So if you send it to yourself before gifting, you can remove the plastic and arrange the watch in a nicer way.
There was a card that referenced the warranty at the bottom of the box, below the watch cushion. Once I situated the watch on the cushion without the plastic sleeve, it looked quite nice, and my friend really liked it! The band is a bit on the larger side, so she will have to get a link or two removed, but I think that’s reasonable to expect for a watch ordered online.
Overall, it seems like a well-made watch, and it looks very elegant. I would personally buy it if I wanted a watch for myself. If you’re buying as a gift, give yourself extra time and room in your budget in case you need to replace the battery when it arrives.
