This is a quality gimbal that produces excellent results.
It’s robust, well made and up to the task at hand. It holds my iPhone 13 Pro Max without issue and setup is quick and simple. There is an app that can be downloaded that will give you full functionality and I found this intuitive to use. This is not essential and you can just connect your phone via Bluetooth to the gimbal and you’re ready to go.
The AI tracking and gesture control is fantstic and works perfectly. It allows you to control the gimbal remotely using only gestures and then it will track and follow you around so it’s like having your own personal cameraman.
Image stabilisation is again excellent and the videos produced are buttery smooth and professional.
I think this is great and if you’re into making videos this is a worthy purchase.
5 stars – recommended!
This smartphone stabilizer has both handheld and tripod functionality. I have a few different smartphones Samsung, I-Phone, Moto ect and they all fit perfectly. I even managed to fit one of my smaller cameras perfectly.
My hands shake a lot while holding up cameras and phones to film and end up getting poor quality, blurry videos. So this technology really helps capture those special moments without fuss and stress and with perfect quality. The AI functionality to tract movement is also impressive and the Gesture functionality to start and stop ect hands while filming with the tripod.
Being able to record, zoom, pan, tilt just using the the stabilizer and not have to touch the camera means I can film from various angles and get a professional quality to my videos and capture moments very quickly without missing anything.
The stabilizer is compact, lightweight and portable so it doesn’t cause any strain on my wrists and is east to pack and take on holidays and travels.
I hate products that have a long and complicated instruction booklet, but this was very quick and easy to set up, almost plug and play. Perfect for a novice like me.
This has significantly improved the way I assume the videos because before I was holding the phone in my hand but since I got this gimbal the videos are not shaky anymore and this is what I was looking for. I have quite a lot of experience working with this type of products because I am a professional photographer for a long time and I have to admit that in terms of build quality this product is really good and also something quite important that I wanted to mention is the fact that it is easy to set up and the battery lasts for quite a long time. From what I have noticed a full charge takes roughly 40 minutes and I’m able to use it for around five to six hours continuously which is great. A great advantage of it is the fact that it doesn’t require any additional app in order to activate the track function which makes things significantly easier when I have to film myself because I can use the main camera of my phone for better quality. I have done some tests while I was running and I was holding this gimbal to see how the video will look and it came out very steady. I also like that this gimbal is lightweight so I can easily take it with me with the rest of the gear that I have and also I find it to be very practical because I can use it as a tripod whenever I want.
I’m new to this videoing lark especially with professional grade equipment. I got this to help a friend out who wants to make tutorial videos from her beauty school, but needs to move around.
The gimbal is very high quality and smooth as butter. Without the ap, you have access to standard stability features that can be switched on the main handgrip along with a small joystick that allows you to pan and tilt in one mode and rotate in the other.
With the app you get zoom and record buttons added as well as other modes too faceted to go into now.
There is also a tripod that fits into the hand grip allowing you to have a stable platform, especially when coupled with the tracker device. This attaches magnetically to the gimbal and allows face tracking and also gesture control where it identifies set hand gestures to make the gimbal perform the movements you need it to or to make your phone zoom.
I haven’t really even scratched the surface with this gimbal but I am so very happy with it, not least because using it is simple right out of the box. The quality of it is also reassuring, it has weight but not too heavy.
Really can’t speak highly enough about this device.
This is a great gimble for your smartphone. Very easy to set up and feels extremely well made, like a high end piece of kit.
Only complaint is that it doesn’t fit my larger phone (S23 Ultra)
This is a good functioning 3 axis Gimbal that works well, but is not perfect. Inside the box you get the Gimbal, USB C charge cables, a smal tripod/stand, plus 2 magnetic mood/accent lights and instructions. To get the best use from the Gimbal there is a photography App to install (AOChuan on the store) that offers a variety of effects and options that you may ot get in the standard phone app on your phone (Hitchcock zoom for example).
In use this works well. the wheel on the side allows you to focus and zoom with more precision, and combined with the thumb controller you have full control of your shots. The thumb controller allows you to move the Gimbal up and down, left and right for tracking and panning. The beauty of a Gimal is the steadiness it gives you when taking video shots as it will eliminate a lot of camera shake and bounce that you would pick up using the camera on its own, and it does this well.
My issue though is that a larger screened phone is difficult to fit in the Gimbal. i have a larger screened phone, and I found that the bottom hit the arm of the Gimbal at times. Combine that with the Gimbal pressing the power button, meant i had to slide the phone out of the Gimbal more so it was harder to balance. The other issue I found and this may be my lack of use on the Gimbal is that usually you can lock the panning but that seems to be mising in this. If i find out how to do that i will come back and update the review.
i will add though that other than the issue i have outlined I still think this is a great Gimbal, and sits squarely in the budget/midrange market so for that price I thik it is a worthwhile purchase.
I purchased this due to the fact i have Parkinson’s , my hands can shake and tremble when filming using my phone. Now using this gimble i am getting rock steady footage, plus the light which you can attach is a nice touch
I was in two minds of buying it. After reading and watching a lot of reviews. I decided to take the chance and buy it. I must say. Its a great bit of kit. Really helps when come to me filming for my vlog. I would highly recommend.
The gimbal feels strong and durable which is exactly what you want.
I got this for my niece who is into making videos on her phone and thought this could help to improve her videos and my niece loves it started making videos with it as soon as she worked out the basics.
Very easy to setup just a case of installing the mobile app on the phone and pairing with bluetooth and following the instructions she had it up and running in about five minutes.
Image stabilisation or anti-shake as they call it is very good and if your phone has good stabilisation it is a perfect pair and if you can do the gimbal walk you will have silky smooth videos.
The built in light is a great feature it’s not as bright as having a separate LED light BUT it is still bright enough for most needs and is a nice touch.
The tripod feet is good quality and it hold the weight of the gimbal and phone easily if you need it to be higher you can attach it to a tripod and can adjust as needed.
The tracking is a lot better than I thought it was going to to BUT only if the subject is moving slow to medium speed any faster than that and the gimbal stops tracking, also a number of time if someone else came into the frame it would lock onto them instead which is not ideal but my niece has worked around this.
Overall I am happy with the gimbal.
If your videos shake when you take them look no further great gimbal I’m no pro but it does what it says an works tryed with pixel 6 and samsung S10+
Must have companions on my travel visits for a smooth video capturing on the go. The Gimbal is easy to use, good quality and the best feature is the 360 degree shoot.
I was inclined to use the gimbal after watching a number of tutorials only with amazing shorts and now with this gimbal I can shoot a well balanced shot and amazing angles with my existing android phone.
It is lightweight, travel friendly and is powered with a strong battery. The app and gimbal easily connect with my phone via Bluetooth. I would recommend viewing some online tutorials to use the gimbal to the maximum.
I purchased this lightweight gimbal for its portability, making it easy to carry wherever I go. The accompanying app adds a lot of fun features to enhance my video creativity. While I faced a charging issue initially, the customer service was exceptional, providing a replacement within a week. I highly recommend this gimbal for those seeking budget-friendly stability in their videos.
I hadn’t realised I needed this until I bought it but this is great. The face tracking works really well and it’s not too heavy and easy to attach my iPhone pro max but I remove the case first. Only things I didn’t check it doesn’t have remote control but does have delay so I can work with that. Finally it doesn’t have extended arm for longer selfies but for the cost I like i
I have used quite a lot of photography equipment over the years, particularly my range of Canon SLR and lenses. Advancing years and the vast improvement in the quality of images has made me think again as to how I take candid images, particularly when on holiday or on days out. My standard iPhone SE 2020 produces spending images and offers me a range of photo and video recording which are remarkable.
Having obtained this gimble and realising that whilst my SE is great, there are much better options available and with that in mind, I am eagerly awaiting collection of my new iPhone 15 on the release date, which I intend to pair with this item to aid me with producing images and short videos when out and about, but also for compiling Amazon reviews.
So what is this gimble like? to me it has been a revelation, but it took some time to work out and only after I had watched a couple of YouTube videos did I feel that I could start to use it. Set up is simple via the app, which offers a range of photographic options on my current handset: more I believe on my iPhone 15. After pairing with the phone, the app connects immediately and from there proceeds to stabilise the handset and permit initial familiarisation with the joystick controller.
I have barely touched the surface in regards to the controls available and intend to produce a better review once I have tested this with my new handset, which unlike my SE has a zoom function amongst others which I cannot use with the gimble at present.
To get the most out of this gimbal you need to download an app on your smartphone. The app is primarily a camera with lots of features and functionality and is very easy to use. It even has some tutorials/suggestions on new techniques to try.
The gimbal is easy to connect to your smartphone via bluetooth and can be controlled using the buttons on the handle.
It comes with a tripod and magnetic RGB light that can be mounted either way to either light up yourself (if using front facing camera) or light up another subject (if using the rear facing camera).
I found the gimbal to be a little difficult to control at first and found it to sometimes try to randomly rotate. However once I got used to keeping it at the correct angle it was actually quite good at making smooth and stable video footage.
I’ve wanted a Gimbal for ages now after seeing Twitch streamers use them. This one is very well made and the app is genuinely useful without being intrusive.
You get the Gimbal which folds away nicely , a stand that screws into the base, an RGB LED lamp that fits to the gimbal via magnets and a usb C charge lead in which to charge both the gimbal and the lamp.
Whilst you don’t have to use the app it opens up more functionality. Without it you get three modes of shooting. A free mode , POV and auto rotate, all which are switched through via a press of the joystick. Holding the joystick down while shooting is go mode. From what I can work out it just freezes it into position. The manual it comes with is more of a quick guide , I’m hoping a QR link will reveal a more in-depth manual.
The wheel on the side is focus by default and there is also a zoom button on the side.
With the app linked via your phones Bluetooth the jog wheel on the side becomes a control for a few functions in ‘pro mode’ although it isn’t scaled so can take a while to scroll , it’s quicker to change on screen.
The app isn’t intrusive and you don’t need an account or anything , but you will need to give it photo permissions. The app can alter all the things my iPhone does by default but adds various effects , a pro mode for more detailed manual settings and some very handy shooting modes. Ones of the highlight is panoramic mode , this gives you options such as how many stills you want to take, and then stitches them together , it works very well and is very accurate when mounted on the stand or a tripod. There are other tricks like an auto panning option , although curiously, if you want a long pan, it takes much longer to film it and then it plays it back fast, there are various settings for this. Some of the effects are a bit of a gimmick like ‘Hitchcock’ which is basically a fast pan , and there is a movie mode etc etc. There is even a tutorial mode that teaches you basic shot techniques, I found this helpful it didn’t feel just thrown in.
Just under eighty six pounds is a lot of money , but mechanically it works well and the battery seems good , with the app it feels more complete. I will find this excellent for holidays , museums etc , but obviously it’s great for vloggers and streamers. If you think you will get a lot of use out of it , then it is worth the price.
