This is a really good quality, lightweight and compact pump which has readings in bar and psi.
Currently this is used regularly at a kids football club and it’s still going strong despite not being looked after overly well by a load of u16’s!
For a cyclist I can imagine this being just about useful on the go, it will fit into a rucksack easily if needed but there are more compact items/electric pumps available.
I wouldn’t fancy blowing up a car tyre with a manual pump but it’s standard Schroeder valve connection, so it would work in theory.
This is a good quality item if you’re looking for a manual pump with a bit of oomph!
Really nice pump at a great price. It’s small and compact with two valve sizes plus attachments that allow you to inflate most things. Very light and delivers good pressure with little effort.
Would definitely recommend!
This is a great little bike pump that easy to use and has all the nozzles needed for pumping up various things. I’ve used it on my bike and for pumping up space hoppers and basket balls and had no issues so far. The gauge seems to work well and it pumps up inflatables with ease.
Overall it’s nice and lightweight and pretty compact for the type of pump, I can recommend if you are after something like it.
Satisfying to use, and light to carry, though not the smallest of pumps.
Seems pretty well made, and has been robust so far. Clamp on for bike cakes, plus adapters for football, balloons etc.
Angle of tubing can be adjusted via a locking nut.
Not sure how accurate the dial reading is, but it’s useful feedback.
Before this pump i bought once from wilko and that cost me 10 pound n was not even close to this one in quality and compare to price too so i am happy its work magically good n i can grip on while standing so happy with my experience to buy from this seller and yes i want to say just looking like a wowww
The SNMIX pump is a sturdy looking piece of kit for inflating tyres with either presta or schrader valves, with a number of adapters for use with footballs, airbeds etc. Usefully, these are attached to the hose rather than being supplied loose, so they are readily available when needed.
The pump is smooth in operation and the pressure displayed seemed accurate when I checked with my gauge (the gauge on the pump itself has a protective cap which is initially quite stiff to remove).
Compared to my other track pump, this is quite short – so compact for transportation, but slightly awkward in use.
Overall, this pump is well made with some nice features and at just under 14 when ordered is good value.
This bike pump is a handy size for stowing in the car boot or a backpack. Some taller users (with back problems) will find it a bit short but it does have a good long stroke so you shouldn’t be suffering for long unless the whole family have flat tyres.
I don’t know if I would be happy to use this on a high pressure car tyre.
As well as the main outlet with the locking lever, one of the best features is the collection of adapters for footballs, airbeds etc that are cleverly retained on the pump. This will save you hours hunting around in the kitchen drawer for an adapter that you left in the football at the park.
My only minor gripe was that the top retaining clips for the hose are made of the same hard plastic as the moulding so it can be very difficult to squeeze the hose back in. On a cold day, you will probably break a fingernail then give it up as a waste of time; leaving it dangling should not be a problem as the hose is very strong.
All in all, a versatile and much quicker solution than using a pocket high pressure pump.
Acquired item to review.
This is a nicely made small track pump. It’s ideally suited for occasional use versus everyday. Why, because it’s rather short! It’s ideal for transporting around without taking up too much space. Plus for me I found the handle a little uncomfortable to use due to the ridges underneath the handle (as shown). This is a minor observation versus anything effecting it’s performance.
The dial is covered in a plastic protective cover, which you must remove.
I did wonder why the pump seemed over complicated at the bottom end where the pipe joins the body. On the opposite of, let’s call it the valve, you can unscrew a cap? No idea of it’s purpose as it does seem to be something to which you can attach another hose or something??
For the price it’s a really good addition if you’re seeking a track pump that’s not massive, or expensive. The body of the pump, and foot plates are sturdy but again for me having medium size hands for a male I would say the handle aren’t overly great, adequate, but not as nice as the rest of the pump.
That all said, for the price, it’s good…..5/5
Weary of using the little pump that came with my bike, I have been looking out for a decent floor pump for a while and this didn’t disappoint.
For a very reasonable price you receive a high quality, well-made pump that copes easily with both types of bike valves. Not only is it perfect for cycles, it can also be used for cars and motorbikes and has adaptors for airbeds, footballs, and diverse inflatable items. The fact that the adaptors are attached to the pump is reassuring when I remember the number of loose adaptors I have lost in the past.
The pump is a bit on the low side, but then it is also compact for storage, which is a plus point.
All in all, this is an excellent, easy-to-use pump with many applications and I am well pleased with it.
This short black and orange tyre pump comes in a bag.
It measures 63.5cm at full extention and 41.5cm when fully depressed. There is a pressure gauge on the front that works well however mine was a little loose and needed tightening as it was twisting the short tube coming out of the bottom of it. Near the top are 2 hose clips that are very small and hard to squeeze the tube into for storage. There are 3 attachments tied to the valve end.
I was able to fully inflate my tyre using this but had to do it on my knees as its not tall enough for me. 4 stars.
Positives: I am pleasantly surprised with this SNMIXbike pump due to the entire unit being so well made. It doesn’t look or feel cheap, so it looks like it’d be more expensive than it is. In my opinion it’s brilliant value for money as it does the job effortlessly. It pumps up the fat tyres on my mountain bike with minimal effort – It takes a couple minutes each time and I didn’t have to put much work in. The pump is easy to use and simple to understand from the get-go.
Overall, the pump is well designed. It looks stylish and it’s of a decent size – not taking up much storage space. The air pressure gauge included is designed beautifully, is accurate and extremely useful (I’m also very grateful that it includes both PSI and BAR as units). The pump has a robust, thick cord which would be hard to damage. When pumping with the handle, the movement is smooth and the entire unit remains sturdy and feels solid underfoot with no rocking. I have had no issues with the valve connections when attaching the pump head to the air valve on my tyres. The connection feels airtight and sealed – fitting well and locking in place superbly with no air escaping out of any gaps.
Finally, this pump is incredibly versatile due to the interchangeable connection types. I also used this pump to blow up a football which it also performed just as well at. Overall, this pump comes across to me as an impressive, high quality, durable bit of kit, especially for the price.
Negatives: I have rated it down a star for two reasons. I find it difficult to place the cable back in its holding clip after using it. It doesn’t really fit as the cable is too thick for its holder and I must force it in. Additionally, I found the cable a bit shorter than I would’ve liked. I have had to rotate my tyres for the pump head to reach the air valves on the wheel. These issues make the pump unnecessarily harder to use. They don’t directly affect the performance but they’re still a big inconvenience that could be improved.
This pump’s best features are the handiness of having the different adapters all tied to the pump itself and that both the Presta and Schrader attachments are accomodated on the pump too so it’s all very convenient to pump up most valve types without having to find all the connectors needed. It isn’t the most robust pump we’ve used but for occasional use it should do the job. It is a little lightweight and the hose is slightly too short for it to be as useful as it could be in all circumstances but at the current price of 13.99 it offers pretty good value for money and is a compact, well thought out design.
One star docked due to the hose length.
It’s an attractive well designed pump. It uses high quality non brittle, difficult to break plastic, beautifully reinforced on known areas of stress. It feels and is a quality pump.
It can be used for both types of bicycle valves. Also motorcycles and cars. It comes with three extra adapters for balls such a football, rugby and netball and air beds, lilos etc.
A great feature is that these adapters are held on a flexible attachment so they shouldn’t be mislaid. Normally these are loose and loose often means lost after a while. See photo.
The dial is covered in see through plastic covering that is meant to be removed. It’s difficult to remove unless you unscrew the black dial cover. See photo.
There are two places at the top on either side to hold the tube in place when in storage or traveling. See photo. It requires a lot of pushing to get the pipe in each clip. I was worried that I might damage the pipe, but didn’t. Once in it holds it well.
With the pump piston pushed fully down it’s 40cm high. With it fully up it’s 60cm. Which some people might find a bit low. However it’s very stable with both feet on it and pumps a good deal of air and is efficient. Many other pumps are a lot higher.
I have found the shortish size a bonus. I know most people keep this type of pump at home or in their car if transporting their bikes.
I have found it an easy size to fit in a pannier on a bike or motorcycle, or rucksack. Especially if the whole family go out and inevitability someone will get a puncture and this pump will get a tyre up to pressure quickly unlike small bike pumps.
For me a really good purchase.
This hand pump can be used for more than just cycles tyres with the enclosed attachments. It is quite sturdy but not too heavy and works fine. I like how clear the pressure gauge is as you don’t need to reach for your reading glasses! The pump isn’t as tall as some similar ones which makes it more portable however if you have a bad back or are tall then this could make using it a bit uncomfortable which is why I have given it 4*s
