I wasn’t very confident about this when I opened the box, but after deciphering the instructions it was pretty simple to fit together and once that was done it slid into place easily.
It looks good, is easy to clean and holds a lot of stuff. Would be 5 stars if the instructions were better.
I had bought one of these previously that had lasted for some years, standing in the corner of my quadrant shower between shower tray and ceiling. The only reason I needed a new one was that the top section containing the spring had rusted internally and would not provide sufficient ‘push’ to hold it in place.
This new one has a couple of improvements – 1. The seams in the tubular sections have been welded which means less likelihood of rusting internally.
2. There is an adjustable upper section which allows the spring pressure and height of the pole to be adjusted to the space available.
Great value, really looks smart when assembled and fitted easily….. will hold a good number of lotions potions and everything needed in the bathroom/shower ..delivered so quickly and what else is there not to like. I am very pleased with this item.
Good value for money. You definitely need to read instructions. Holds a fair amount of stuff. Great from bath to ceiling didn’t need all the sections had 2 left over. Worth the money would recommend
It does what it says on the tin! Easy to assemble and so far seems well sturdy enough, although if a family of 4 all have different shampoos, shower gels etc it may suffer a bit under the weight, but thinking outside the box will enable this issue to be overcome. Also the towel/flannel rail could do with being a bit higher, but the spring section is too narrow for this feature.
Having seen many similar ones in other houses, I did some spadework before I ordered this one. I’m glad I did – it’s excellent – very sturdy and no danger of coming apart or slipping.
Like most of this type of self-assembly items, the diagrams are not as helpful as they might be, but it’s not a rocket science project – all I would say is, when you clip in the little bars to prevent items from falling off, check they are the correct way round – they fit both ways! Easily corrected though.
Adjustments afterwards are easy – only after using it do you realise that you (or your wife) wants a shelf higher/lower – and this can normally done when it is in place.
Overall an excellent purchase!
Great height. I used one on the middle height and one in the fullest setting and it fits well and feels very sturdy. Haven’t been able to test for long term rusting but it has been sturdy in use and I’m very happy with these.
This item appears to fit the bill adequately and at a good price. It assembles easily and is easy to install. However, it is too early to tell yet how it will perform in use. The only down side so far was the exceedingly long time it took to be delivered. It was originally promised for Monday, then tracking indicated it was with the courier company on the previous Thursday. We therefore anticipated delivery on Friday or Saturday. Daily delays ensued with the tracking notes changing at the end of each day. It eventually arrived on Wednesday in the charge of a very polite and personable courier who had apparently been called in to assist with a backlog. As he only had a small car he could not take many parcels at once.
