These are exactly what I’ve been needing to make my Steam Deck more portable, I can now use my Bluetooth keyboard and USB mouse without needing the entire Steam Deck dock.
Dropped one star because the USB-C connection is a bit loosee than I would like, but it doesn’t feel like it would fall out of the port.
My nee laptop does not have any USB ports, so these have come handy and were exactly what I needed. Easily portable, easy to use, very responsive. No problems with them yet.
I am very pleased with this product! It arrived on time, was exactly as described, and works perfectly. The quality is excellent and it has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it!
Love this product. I bought a charger and didn’t check that it had a standard USB outlet. It only had a USB ‘C’ outlet. This adaptor allowed me to use all of my collection of charger cables. Very pleased and the price is great, plus I got two!!
It was a tad difficult to get the usb stick I had into this adapter but finally put it face down on hard surface and managed to push it in (I have arthritic hands so might be easier for others!) Then connected to my phone and everything on the USB stick showed up. Chuffed to pieces with it!
Bought for new Macbook Air 15″ great for 1 device like printer out USB multi adaptor as Macbook air only has 2 USB C (Thunderbolt ports. However you can not plug in both adaptors in side by side in the 2 port as the ports are to close together and adaptors to big to go in.
I’ve had several Syntech adapters and which all did the job in hand no problem.. But beware if you have a protective phone case as the usb-c adapter will flap about when you try and push it into the phone. The adapter case is much bigger than the phone case as the usb-c port cut out on the phone case is much smaller. This stops the adapter from fully pushing into the port and making contact.
They look and feel well manufactured. Only issue as stated by others is if you have a case on your phone, it probably won’t fit into the USB C socket.
Fortunately for me in using them to convert a USB A cable to usb C, so I just plug it into my fast charger no problem.
This is a very effective and very reliable USB type A USB C adapter, perfect if you want to move your files from a USB A drive to a USB C drive. My original USB A drive’s now have a second use. Very happy with this USB type C adapter.
The only front-mounted ports on my computer are USB-C. I use these to connect things like key drives, backup volumes, and my conference headset. These devices work fine, and have a nice chunky solid feel to them. They seem well made, and the colour is spot on. If I lose one, which is likely, I’ll definitely buy some more of these.
