I would give this treadmill a 4.5/5
Pro
1. Small treadmill
2. Easy to store and doesn’t take up too much room.
3. Fancy design and nice colours, looks like a very premium treadmill for the price.
4. Tablet/Phone holder is easy to collapse when not in use and is very handy when in use
Cons
1. The running belt is quite narrow when running, i have on multiple occasions treadd on the outskirts due to the belt being narrow and not wide enough so be carefull when you are running that you run straight and have good posture.
This treadmill has exceeded expectations thus far. Up to yet I’ve only done 2 x 30 mins runs on it, but it’s built solidly and feels very sturdy indeed.
The speed functions are both easy to set up, and to understand, and the Led display is bright and easy on the eye.
The motor also runs fairly quiet compared to others examples I’ve seen/heard.
One reason to choose this over other models is the wider running track, it feels spacious. I’m 5 foot 7ish, and there’s ample foot space to feel comfortable and safe whilst running.
After taking Aeons to research and decide on my final purchase, I’m now very happy I went with this one.
Note: It’s heavy to unbox if doing so alone, but if you take your time, it’s also extremely simple and easy to set up.
It’s literally plug and play!.
Overall a satisfied customer, and would recommend for anyone who’s unsure.
Happy running/walking all :).
Ash.
Very well packaged. Straight out of the box unfolded and plugged it and worked. Nice wider belt ideal so room to move, very quiet and a handy device adjustable holder which is a metal plate not plastic so better I think. Very simple to use and straightforward with variable speeds, stop start and an emergancy off clip which if you pull away with the magnetic clap it stops the running machine instantly to prevent accidents. The adjustable display arm simply clips and folds down flat so this can be used as a walking machine under a work desk if you’re really dedicated and is quite low to the ground so can stored away under a bed or against a wall. It’s heavy but one person can move it comfortably. The specs sounded good when ordering with a powerful motor and came with a set up kit containing everything you need/ before using for the first time just carefully lift the treadmill band and put a little squirt of oil on both sides which helps it run smoothly. I do this once a month. Very nice to walk in and jog. We don’t run yet but building up to that! Very happy hope to get my miles up to 5 a day currently on three – 1 extra each week. Great love it cheers
It is the perfect exercise tool for small homes, where space is a premium. Things I liked about the treadmill are:
1. No installation required
2. Small sized
3. Not exactly lightweight, but easily maneuverable
4. Very easy operations
5. Smooth spool up and wind down motion
6. Relatively quiet
7. The panel is well positioned (for me atleast)
8. The power cable has the male adapter, so an IEC lead or kettle lead of any length can be used (if the one supplied is too short)
Things that could be improved:
1. A bigger lubricant bottle and a suggestion in the instruction manual on what lubricant to buy, when it runs out
2. The calorie counter is way off mark. Using my Samsung smart watch as a guide, if the meter reads some value, it is actually more than 3 times. As an example, my watch said I had burnt 250 kcal, but the treadmill said I had burnt just 70 kcal. Suggestion would be to just ignore it. Most people have a smart watch, or similar to measure calories.
3. The time drifts as well. I exercise for 45 minutes, and the clock on the treadmill was lagging by 18 seconds. And again a smart watch solves this problem.
This treadmill serves the purpose of being able to exercise at home (avoid gym fees). Also it takes away the excuses of why I can’t go for a run outside!!!
It’s a good buy, for anyone who’s looking for a small, smartly priced, balanced treadmill as a first gym equipment buy.
I bought this treadmill to add to my home gym setup. I find it hard to find the time to go out training so to solve this issue I am trying to invest in quality equipment to help keep fit from my own home. I bought this treadmill based on positive reviews and also the fact that it is quite compact, meaning it does not take up heaps of space when stored away. Setup was very easy, there is a red magnetic cord with a clip that needs to be inserted in order for the treadmill to power on. The control arm simply lifts up from the base and can be locked into place with two clips. The treadmill has simple controls that are easy to use. The belt speed can vary from as low as 1kph up to 12kph. The belt is sturdy and appears durable. The screen on the treadmill is bright and clear, although I have noticed it only tracks in 1 minute increments and does not display seconds. There is also a carlorie counter for those trying to achieve weight loss and calorie counting.
The treadmill also comes with a wireless remote control which is a nice touch. I would think this is of particular use when using the treadmill with the control arm in the lowered position, although I personally tend to leave it up so have not needed the remote. Also supplied is a small bottle of lubricating oil which can be used periodically to keep the belt running smoothly. There are clear instructions on how to modify the tension in the belt if needed, although I have not found the need to do this as yet.
I have the treadmill setup on hard rubber tiles, but it does have soft rubber feet so it would be possible to place it directly on tiles or laminate flooring without any fears of causing damage to the floor.
I will update in future if any concerns regarding reliability but so far everything has worked perfectly and I am very happy with my purchase.
This treadmill is great due to it’s slimline profile, it means it can fit into most homes without having a ‘home gym’, which quite frankly most of us do not! The treadmill is a decent size for walking/running on when fully opened up, with just under 17″ of belt space (width) – when you are done however you can fold the handle bar down and the machine becomes just under 5″ in height meaning that you can slide it under a sofa or bed to get it out of the way.
Performance wise we are really happy with this machine. We have not yet used it at it’s full speed of 12km/h however we have had a decent jog on it and it performed well. The bed has impact cushioning so means it is less harsh on your knees. Noise wise it is pretty quiet for an electric treadmill. You could easily use this whilst watching TV and still hear everything without having to increase the volume. On the handle bar it has a slot to hold a tablet, we use an iPad, it’s fits well and is nice and secure. The remote control is also very good and handy to have to adjust the settings on the machine. The safety cut out is also great, turning off the machine if fall backwards, or don’t run to the pace you have set the speed at.
My only niggle with this machine is that there does not seem to be a way to lock the handle bar down when you collapse it. I have demonstrated this in my video review. A latch would have been great just to secure the handle when storing.
In Summary this is an excellent treadmill that i would highly recommend to others. It is a super smart folds away for fantastic easy storage, has all the functions you could want from a running machine, and gives a great workout whilst binge watching TV! Highly recommended.
I hope that you found my review helpful
Really pleased with the product. I’d recently started running but the cold and wet weather had put me off. I spent a bit of time looking for a decent quality treadmill that wasn’t going to take up too much room and could cope with a reasonable amount of weight as I’m on the heavier side. This seemed to fit the bill, and I’m absolutely delighted with it.
It arrived in a large flat box, and on unpacking it I was delighted to find out there is no assembly required – the vertical piece simply folds out, you attach the red safety stop clip, plug it in and you’re good to go. The whole process must have been about 10 minutes maximum. This also means it’s really easy to just fold it down for storage. I’ve left mine out so far, but when we’ve got friends round I can fold it away and either stand against the wall or slide it under the bed for longer-term storage. There are transportation wheels so you can roll it, although I haven’t used these.
Upon trying it out, it does exactly what you’d expect of a treadmill, and it does it well. You can control on/off and speed from the remote control or from the control bar. The speed ranges from 1-12km/h and ramps up and down quite nicely. The display is clear and tells you the current speed, how long you’ve run, how far, and how many calories burned.
In terms of comfort, it’s far better than running on pavements. There’s some cushioning in the treadmill so it puts a bit less pressure on your joints. The belt is also a good width so you’re not in danger of hitting the side. Both of these are real positives for myself, a decent sized man.
There’s a couple of other nice features. There’s a shelf for putting a tablet or phone on while running, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see they even include a spare battery for the remote – there’s one in the remote already, and another in the accessories pack.
I’ve included a few pictures too.
Overall, highly recommended. I’m really pleased with it and it’s so much more preferable to going out jogging in the cold.
