A serious space-saver, with a UK 3-pin socket, 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C, all in a fairly compact plug. Enough to keep the whole family powered up and saved both space and weight on our recent trip to Spain.
Works just fine and we are unable to find any reason to give it less than five stars.
Used in Tenerife and worked without problems. Standard UK 3 pin socket for items such as a hair dryer or travel kettle. Two usb A and a third usb c socket for phone and tablet charging or running small items such as a travel fan. Will charge from all three sockets at once but not a fast charge. Dont forget your usb leads as none are included. Very convenient as previously we had taken a uk extension lead with us. Seems pretty robust, well worth the money…
Ideal travel plug for the Euro Zone. Having both a plug and USB sockets reduces the need for multiple adapters. Fairly compact considering the ports, and benefits from both standard and USB C ports for charging phones etc. Would recommend!
There’s not a huge amount to say about this item. A brief summary: It’s well made and does exactly what you need it to. It does feel nice and solid, the plastic does not feel cheap as can be the case with some adapters, it’s the type of plastic that is unlikely to break/snap if you dropped it.
It has a standard UK 2 pin input along with a USB-C socket and 2 x standard USB A sockets.
A top quality UK/European adapter that we would highly recommend
I tested this on a recent trip to Mallorca. It’s a bit bulkier than your standard adapter, but that’s to be expected considering the amount of ports it has. Most travel gizmos are USB now so having both USB A and a Type C is a good combo, with a standard 3 pin plug for those that are mains powered like hair dryers. Would recommend.
This is a very practical and nice-looking item that appears well made. The UK socket and 3 charging ports (one USB-C and two USB-A) make this a very versatile item for use when you go to other European countries from the UK.
I was able to try it at home, as I have a variety of plug adapters, and in operation, the unit worked well. I used it to fast charge my work phone from the USB-C port, and then I tried the other two USB-A ports. I also tried the UK mains port with my phone’s charger. All worked well with no concerns.
As the device is bigger than normal, a little care will be needed to find the newer style sockets ‘type F’, as it could be a little wobbly in the older style ones that don’t have the round support.
In my view, this is a very well-made item, a little more bulky than your usual travel adapter, but worth carrying it, as it’ll save you having to take multiple adapters. It works well and has a reasonable price.
This little power adaptor is a very useful device to take on holiday in Europe. The power pins are compatible with most EU countries and a few more besides like Turkey and the Russian Federation. The input side accepts a standard three pin UK plug plus there are three USB sockets. One USB C and two USB A. The USB connection handle 5 volts. It should be noted that this mains adapter doesn’t convert the mains voltage so be aware of that before you plug a device in.
I like this adapter, having the three USB ports is very useful especially for charging smart phones etc while on holiday. One small critism is the limitation to European countries. We have a couple of universal adapters which handles Europe the USA and Australia. It’s a little chubby too so once plugged into a European power socket it does pretrude from the wall especially once you plug your UK device in the other side. Other than that this is an inexpensive must have for a holiday on the continent. Four stars but very nearly five. Highly recommend
Th
This arrives in a box containing the travel plug.
This feels and looks well made and it has a bit of weight to it. The idea of putting USB ports on a travel adapter is genius and will cut down on the amount of adapters we normally take on holiday.
The fact that it has 3 ports with one of them being a USB C is great although the max output is only 5V 2.4A across all ports, so this is no fast charger and the USB C is not PD. This will probably be used in a bedroom or kitchen to slow charge devices overnight rather than a quick daytime charge. I also like the fact it seems to be earthed.
This will definitely be travelling with us the next time we go to Europe. The price (14.99 at time of review) is a little bit high, but there is a 5 voucher which brings it down to 9.99 which makes it good value for money. Overall a nice well made product that now lives in our travel bag.
I hope you found this review helpful.
As a seasoned traveler and technology enthusiast, I recently had the opportunity to use the UK to European Plug Adapter with 3 USB ports during my travels to Turkey. Based on my experience, I am delighted to give this product a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.
The adaptability of this plug adapter is its standout feature. The E/F type plug compatibility makes it suitable for a broad range of European countries, including popular destinations like Spain, France, Germany, and Greece. This versatility is a significant advantage for anyone traveling within Europe, especially for individuals like me who enjoy exploring different countries.
Another aspect that I found exceptionally useful is the inclusion of 3 USB ports (1 USB-C & 2 USB-A). This design allows for simultaneous charging of multiple devices, which is incredibly convenient. The ability to charge up to four devices at once without needing multiple adapters is a game-changer. During my stay in Turkey, this feature proved invaluable as it allowed me to charge my mobile phone, power bank, and other gadgets without any hassle. The USB ports are intelligently designed to detect the connected devices and provide optimal charging speed, ensuring my devices were efficiently charged.
The adapter’s build quality and safety features are also noteworthy. The plug extender shell, made of fire-resistant materials, provided me with peace of mind regarding the safety of my devices. The multiple protection mechanisms ensure the security of the connected devices, which is a crucial factor for any electrical accessory.
From a practicality standpoint, the lightweight and compact design of this adapter is another huge plus. It is easy to carry and doesn’t occupy much space in the luggage, making it an essential accessory for travel in Europe.
One point to note for potential buyers is that this adapter is not a voltage converter. It’s important to be aware of the voltage requirements of your devices, especially when traveling to countries with different voltage levels. However, for standard devices and electronics, this adapter works flawlessly.
In conclusion, the UK to European Plug Adapter with 3 USB ports is a top-quality product that I highly recommend. Its versatility, safety features, and convenience make it a must-have for anyone traveling from the UK to Europe. It has certainly earned its 5-star rating from my experience in Turkey, and I anticipate it will be a staple in my travel kit for future European adventures.
I found this adapter to be a bit bulky – the USB sockets are on the front rather than on the sides, and the European plug isn’t retractable – which is not ideal considering the premium that airlines charge for every square inch of luggage. That said, it’s definitely handy and has a variety of ports that make it suited to charging multiple devices at the same time.
