Working from home, I needed the ability to hook up a second monitor. This little adapter did the trick flawlessly. I literally plugged it in and both monitors sprang to life with crisp image quality. It’s so small and neat that I just leave it attached to my laptop. Perfect for presentations or when I just need to spread things out.

This excellent little 2-in-1 adapter from ABIWAZY is compatible with all Full-Functioned USB-C devices. It expands a single USB-C port into two 4K HDMI ports. If you’re using only one HDMI port at a particular time, maximum performance is 4K resolution at 60 Hz refresh rate, delivering flicker-free crystal-clear video. When both HDMI ports are used simultaneously, both are capable of 4K resolution but the max refresh rate of each is 30 Hz – still fast enough for perfectly smooth video. The adapter’s construction is robust: aluminium shell for lightness and effective heat dissipation. The short cable feels rugged, the USB-C connector is high quality, and both female ports offer snug connections to HDMI cables.

There’s nothing to criticise. This is a good piece of kit at a reasonable price.

I got given this free to review (amazon vine). Mine was the USB C to HDMI adaptor with 2 ports. It’s a really useful gadget for me, as my Microsoft Surface has no HDMI slot only the USB C, so to connect in a meeting room or hotel, something like this is needed. This is well made, compact and works. If that’s all you want it for great! It also has 2 outputs so you can connect to two screens. The only reason I knocked off a star was that for only a fraction more money you can get equally small hubs that add even more connectivity.

I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my own opinions.

I had an application where I needed to use a video out from a Mac Mini M1 and this worked a treat. As the Mini is mains powered I didn’t have to worry about charging which might be a consideration for a laptop, tablet or smarphone application so bear that in mind (or check other reviews). At the reduced price of 20.49 this adapter seems better value and worth considering if you need one

I used this adapter on my Dell laptop where I needed an external projector connection that was HDMI. It worked well without having to install drivers. The mirroring function in Windows picked up the projector straight away. I also connected a second screen and was able to have two separate desktops on both connections. With the laptop screen, this equals three desktops screens that can display three different desktops. There are other adapters that are cheaper hence four stars. But this is still a quality adapter.

This is a very well made dual HDMI adaptor that is very light and has a metal body – so much more study than some I have seen with plastic bodies.

I have used this adaptor from my laptop connected to two monitors and the pictures Quality was perfect.

This will be a very handy adaptor to have in my laptop bag when travelling for leisure or work, overall a very nicely made, quality adapto

This review is for the USB C to 2x HDMI ports variant.

Tested using an Asus Zenbook Windows laptop. In a nutshell:

    Things I liked:

+ Testing worked absolutely flawlessly. Tested on a 1080p screen (75Hz) and a 1440p screen (144Hz) – it was perfectly capable of mirroring my laptop screen or extending across all three desktops.
+ Plug and play – it was really, really easy to set up and get using straight away.
+ Build quality feels fine – absolutely no issues.

    Things I didn’t like:

    – Nothing.

    Do I recommend it?

Absolutely. This is a solid quality adapter.

USB C to HDMI Adapter (B0CR3MVLDD)
This review and ASIN is for a USB-C connector to 2 x HDMI devices.
This is so that you can run 2 external HDMI devices such as monitors from the single USB-C port on the laptop IF that USB-C port allows ‘ALT MODE’ to support video output. Not all USB-C connectors do.
Check the USB-C cable connector icons shown below (taken from the info page) to see if yours does support that protocol.
The splitter will run at Dual 4K HDMI @ 30Hz or a single 4K @ 60Hz. The unit is machined very precisely and will take two HDMI connecters securely, not likely to fall out by accident. The unit has a very smooth finish without sharp or rough edges.

5.0 out of 5 stars USB C to HDMI Adapter (B0CR3MVLDD). Check table for compatibility with video out.

This review is for the USB-C to 2-port HDMI adapter. It was plug-and-play, working immediately upon plugging in all of the cables. One catch; initially, I hooked it up to a USB-C port that didn’t have thunderbolt capability (little lightning symbol next to the USB port). Once I connected it to a port that had it, it worked fine. The product description includes a picture of supported USB symbols; referring to that will ensure smooth operation. I was able to extend the screens in any way I needed to.

Use this to connect my Chuwi tablet to the TV to save getting the laptop out. Works perfectly in outputting the hi res output to the TV. Whats more, this clever little device can act as a distributer so your laptop can support three screens (not just mirroring) so you can extend your desktop over all three. Very useful and seems to be stable and work fine. Lovely tiny little adpater being about the same size as an SD card reader!

This adaptor is very light and plastic – and maybe unfairly that makes me think that maybe it is a little expensive. It does work exaclty as it should though.

I am using this to connect my laptop (ThinkPad Windows 11 Pro) to two different TVs (front room and kitchen) via HDMI cables. The adaptor was “plug and play” for me – windows recognised it and configured the drivers almost instantly. My laptop has a type C USB port but if yours doesn’t you may be able to get this to work with a Type-C to Type-A adaptor, although a dedicated type-A version would probably suit better.

Once connecting up (see 3rd pic) I was able to connect to both TVs and display content in 4K (4th pic). Video and Audio playback was absolutley fine. Worth noting that if you are outputting to both screens then 4K is capped at 30Hz – 1080p is fine at full 50/60Hz.

I’d happily recommend this if you have a compatible PC or Mac and want to output to two displays.

This is an awesome HDMI splitter that does more than just display on two dual screens. It splits the screen and allows you to have two monitors connected through the same HDMI adapter. I have been looking for a product like this for a while now. Most dual HDMI splitters only allow you to share your current screen on two dual monitors but not extend the screen onto the dual monitors. The price point is a little bit pricey but it does the job.

Please note that I am reviewing the 2-in-1 HDMI version, not one of the models that functions as a USB hub.

If all you need is a couple HDMI ports out of a USB-C port, this works well. Nice metal case, decent cable, no complaints.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI’ve used this USB C hub on my MacBook Pro 13in 2017 (a1708) for a week and had no problems with it so far.
Its vastly expanded the number of devices I can connect simultaneously…and it looks good too

Just what I needed for my first mac laptop whose used to Windows laptops.

Golden Review Award: 145 From Our UsersIt’s a great little addition to my mac book air, how Apple can get away with equipping such an expensive thing and leave out any way of plugging in usb cables, SD cards etc. is beyond me, I suppose they expect you to buy theirs? This serves the purpose well. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to waste any more money on Apple products.

Just a little worried that the usb connections bend over time but I think this is a fault in any of these types of connectors. The product works great and I have had no hassles with it so far.

I like that you can leave it attached it works reasonably well I have only one problem with it if attaching more than one external hard drive when I closed down and reopen the hard drive goes missing my usb backup works perfectly with no problems the external hard drives have been formatted properly but for some reason it will not appear even in disk utility just might be something I have done will sort it out .
Apart from that all the ports function correctly it reads the SD card I have not tried the camera but that should work with no adverse problem a very useful product that works reasonably well with my MacBook Air M1
