The color is a but different from the navy blue I had in mind, but I managed to blend it with another color and it worked out perfect.
Definitely block out and true to length.
Perfect curtains to keep the sun at bay. I work shift work so sleep during days. Bought these curtains to keep my bedroom dark and that they did. Materials nice and thick and holds back all the light once drawn.
Good quality curtains for the price, they aren’t quite “blackout” as you can see the light come through if the sun is directly behind them. I’ve had true blackout curtains before and they are like brick walls, nothing would shine through. Although these are great for the price and definitely better than ur standard curtai
Came rumpled and even with steam ironing it was quite difficult to get the creases out. Was easy to put up. Combined it with a blackout mustard curtain from a different brand. All together was the look I was going for. Not the thickest IMO but the texture of the fabric might help to prevent heat loss
This curtain is brilliant. I have used blackout blinds previously (the ones you velcro up into the window) to block out the rising sunlight and I thought they were the best but these curtains are even bitter because they’re curtains that you can draw open and closed and they help prevent the children wakening too early when those bright mornings come about at 5 a.m. in spring and summer. Definitely go for the longer length too, well worth the purchase. Thank you.
Ordered 66×90 and they fit really well. Surprised by the quality, and so we’re others. Block out a good amount of light on par with the old John Lewis black out curtains. Could easily close them and have a 2pm nap (in March). Room feels warmer and the silver white colour is light and airy and matches the colour of the walls. Best money I’ve spent in a long time. They’re not chunky, more lightweight but still effective at being blackout curtains.
Bought these to stop heat loss at night from a cold conservatory. Using these worked out several hundred euro cheaper than fitting blinds even with the cost of poles Inc in the equation. Ultimately, I used 6x pairs rather than 4x pairs which would have done the job; so that they pleat neatly when closed. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality & appearance when opening the parcel but even more so, once they were put up. As far as heat retention goes they are superb & they instantly made a huge noticeable difference in what was a very cold area that sucked heat from the rest of my house at night. They are completely black out too & as I live in a rural area with no light pollution i cannot see into the conservatory at night from the outside even though it’s lit up from the inside. More importantly nor can anyone else.. I suspect that the punitive cost ( compared to other options) will be recovered over two winters by reducing my heating costs. On top of that it’s made a space in my home that was of no use except in daytime when I’m not necessarily home, useable at anytime. These curtains are a great buy, are exceptional value & do exactly as the advertising claims.
