There are cheaper ones out there, but I bought this for my mum’s 89th(!) birthday (I knew she needed one) so wanted to ensure it was going to be sturdy and light/easy to use and Vileda is a trusted brand, so went for this. It’s perfect. The drying lines are quite thin, but not as thin as others and they seem sturdy enough. It’s also got a lot of lines for lots of clothes, so mum was very happy with it. Me too.
Due to arrive 18/3 or 19/3, actually came this a.m. 15/3, compliments to the company. Looks a good bit of kit, have tried it out with a small wash and it left lots of space.
Works well, the latch part works very well, simply lift the rack up to open it up past the latch, then drop down, and it’s in place. Because of this, its easy moving it from one place to another when its fully loaded and not have it collapse on you.
There are 4 plastic things on the top corners, they are not permanently fixed and pull off easily, if you hang something off it, you could accidentally knock it out by accident.
Very solid structure and holds a lot of clothes. one of those ones which will last forever if you don’t knock it about. Can’t argue for the price, well worth it and taller than expected so gets the heat more – wetter stuff higher up!
Title is a bit misleading (unless I’m just stupid?) I thought there was a clothes line included, and was disappointed. I think it means the clothes horse can hold 15 metres worth of clothes instead.
Good size while being both sturdy and light with plenty of room. The only issue are the plastic corner toppers that should be able to hold coat hangers but instead just fall off constantly. They barely fit on the corners and I’ve ended up binning them.
Overall very happy with the product. Seems very sturdy. Just missing the rubber cover on one of the “legs” which is a shame as for the price you wouldn’t be expecting that to be missing. Not sure if worth returning just for that one thing but definitely slightly annoying. Just for your information.
