Small and convenient multi-grooming tool. Neat design with interchangeable heads plus some additional bonus accessories (nail scissors, clippers, comb, and even a toothbrush head which is strange). This build quality is ok, it is much the same compared to other wahl products I have had before but this is a non-rechargeable unit and powered by a single AA battery which is a bit disappointing as I personally feel a rechargeable unit would be better and more convenient.
For grooming in general, it is easy to use and clean but performance wise I find it very average. It does the job with some effect and precision but the power is a little lacking which I feel is mostly down it being battery operated.
RRP is 20 I think is acceptable as even though I find the unit very average it does the job but has additional versatility and a few accessories included, all in all I think this price point would be perfect if the unit was rechargeable so on that basis alone I would probably look toward other products. At the time of writing this review this product is on a very good offer of just over 12 which I think is a good deal and more appropriate in price.
This Wahl travel kit ultimate 6in1 arrived and firstly I was impressed with how well presented everything is. All the tools and kit come inside this lovely box that shows and tells me everything I need to know about this men’s shaver. The box tells me this shaver is capable of 6 different uses which are; designer stubble, regular stubble, short beard, ear hair, nose hair and a more detailed shave. This is capable of various cutting lengths between 0.2mm and 6mm. Inside is a substantial amount of kit which I have detailed here;

This was given to my husband, who at the moment works away and travels back at weekends and this is what he likes and doesn’t like about this trimmer. When in use, all the attachments work well and are fantastic quality. The smaller manual tools are handy to have, especially with being away from home. Unfortunately, the trimmer itself is only battery operated, with one AA battery that is included. Meaning it can lack power if the battery has had a lot of use, but is handy for travelling. The storage pouch is nice and holds all the items securely. My husband has a short beard, and he says the tools make it very easy to tidy up the edges and the shaver is easy to hold and move around his face. He has had no problem cleaning the heads with water after use, the cleaning brush and oil makes it easy to keep this in top condition for the next use. Overall, very nice and easy to use but let down with the power being battery operated. Would recommend.
Comes well presented in a cardboard box showing you exactly what you are getting inside. The multi groomer is grey and black in colour. Inside the box you get the trimmer, shaver head, trimmer head, rotary head, aa battery, nail clippers, scissors, file, toothbrush with cover, tweezers, comb, storage pouch, blade oil and a cleaning brush. Runs on an aa battery, so no wires or needing to charge it. The attachments are easy to change, remove and put on and are rinseable. One little trimmer to use as a 6 in 1 styler- designer stubble, stubble, short beard, ear, nose and detail shave. It has cutting lengths from 0.2mm to 6mm. They cut cleanly and efficiently, effort free. Its light weight to hold. Not too much noise or vibration either when using. Simple on/off power button. It’s great you get all the added grooming extras all in one set. All contained in a handy zip up storage pouch so you’re able to keep everything altogether in one place. The ultimate set that gives you everything you need all in one place. Great value for money. Even comes with a 5 year warranty.
This is a super-compact AA-battery powered clipper that comes with a veritable Swiss-army style set of abilities. It’s incredibly light, running with a noise that more resembles an electric toothbrush than a hair clipper.
What it lacks in horse-power it more than makes up for in versatility – Wahl have covered all the bases here. The three clipper heads cover basic shaving, beard/hair/body hair trimming and nose/ear hair clipping. It does none of these jobs to a particularly high standard, not least compared to some of Wahl’s other offerings, but as a compact travel option it undoubtedly gets it done. If you’re aiming for a triple-pass wet shave and a full head buzz then this clearly isn’t going to cut it (literally) but if you’re after a quick clean up on-the-go then it very well might be the one for you.
Besides the three clipping heads, the nice little case comes complete with nail clippers, tweezers, a comb, blade oil/brush and even a toothbrush, along with a single AA battery. You really could buy this thing at an airport, chuck it in your case and you’d be set for a trip.
