5 stars if you limit use to Win 11, 1 star for use in Win 10 unless you use Windows Configuration Designer and create the needed APN (MS has removed the ability to create an APN in Win 10, and refers you to WCD). Our client has Win 10 machines and wouldn’t pay for the configuration work.
“Works out of the box in Win 11” is correct if you’re a tech… and means assembling the PCB and heatsink, and mounting the Quectel M.2 modem and antennas… there are no instructions in the box, but waveshare’s website has an assembly guide. The drivers are obtained by request on the Quectel forum. So… not for the newb.
