I got this camera because I wanted to have a more front-facing view of myself during remote meetings. My desk setup consists of my laptop at the side of my primary monitor (bigger screen), and as a camera, it has done a fantastic job.
The problem comes down to the microphone, which has a consistent and highly noticeable amount of background noise; using software-based noise suppression will deal with this, i.e., built into applications like Google Meets or Discord, or even the suppression that can be enabled in macOS will eliminate that, it does leave a bit of a mark against an otherwise good option for a webcam.
I have a very old desktop computer that I use for everyday browsing, and wanted a webcam to keep in touch with friends abroad. I chose this, and installed it using the USB cable provided. It installed itself in moments, and I am very pleased with it. The picture quality is excellent, and I am able to talk to, and see, my friends instead of having to email or use Messenger. Highly recommended.
Fantastic little USB webcam, at a very affordable price. Plugged it in and Windows found & configured it within a matter of seconds. Using it primarily for MS Teams calls. Am advised by others on the calls that sound & picture quality are both excellent.
I certainly expected to be paying out a lot more for something as capable as this, but I looked at the reviews and took a punt at it.
Once my five part course would be over, I wasn’t likely to be using it again, so I didn’t want to be paying out a lot for it.
Anyway, as it also appeared to include a built in microphone, I thought that would save me even more money on a mic or headset.
I wasn’t to be a bit disappointed.
It worked straight out of the box. Completely plug and play, via USB and, having just completed the first conference call on Zoom with it, I am more than delighted with it’s performance for the money.
No complicated setting up was required. Just plugged it in, found “test camera” in my Windows (11) settings and there I was looking back at myself sat at my desk with my feet up.
Downloaded “Zoom” for my conference call and pressed on the link the course Organiser had sent me.
Easy, peasy.
Highly recommend if you have any online courses coming up.
Only thing I would emphasise would be to check compatibilty with your particular operating system. Mine ran perfectly in Windows 11, as I said.

This webcam is great value and is fantastic for Zoom meetings ect. Picture Quality is great . Only issue I had is mic isn’t fantastic it will do but could be better. I would definitely recommend to a home user like myself though.
