As well as prevent them from getting damaged. 4 leg wraps, 2 that go around my ankles to provide a cushion/comfort and to help prevent the ankle weights from sliding down. I wrap the ankle weights with the bottom strap @ half on the wraps and then wrap the other two leg wraps around the ankle weights which pretty much keeps it in place.

Nothing is tearing apart on the ankle weights, pretty much like new. I only use them to do inverted deadlifts on my rings, no idea how this works for walking around.

I use leg wraps to make these comfortable and stay in place

Overall these are probably the best for what they are if you’re looking for incrementally increasing your strength training. I went from 1lb up to 10 in a little over a month so you may find you outgrow them kind of fast. I like them but they have their flaws for sure but for what you’re getting the price isn’t terrible.

    Cons:
There are about 8 weights that are 7 ounces instead of 8 ounces like the rest of the set which makes weight tracking frustrating. I contacted the seller and they said that since the total weight is correct they won’t do anything about it. I’m not sure if it’s intentional or a mistake but I can’t see that being useful for anyone.
Part of the elastic on the velcro is unraveling in the same spot on both so I may need to repair them eventually.
I have maxed out the weights that came with the pair and I think that these will have a lot of difficulty with extra weights and may need some kind of modification to keep from falling down.
I am not sure how the top strap is supposed to work but the middle and bottom work well, and twisting the top strap once works well enough. I think with the loops the top strap would work well if I could figure out how to do it right! The instructions don’t say.
The seller doesn’t sell extra weights so if you want to increase you’ll have to buy another set (which I will most likely be doing).
If you have skinny legs, these straps are too long and the velcro may not line up. I’ve loaned these to a friend before whose legs were almost too skinny for them.

    Pros:
Weight tracking is easy until you’re forced to use the 7 ounce weights.
Reasonable comfortable and easy to use.

    Not bad

These leg weights fit large calves and can be adjusted much larger if/when needed. I am big-boned like as in larger than average skeletal structure (as advised by a physiotherapist) and other brands of leg weights don’t work well for me because their strap length and sizing is based on average skeletal structure. These Lekaro leg weights have three adjustable straps with an open back. They can be adjusted quite large. The total weight is also adjustable so if you purchase the maximum total weight you can start with as low as one pound per side and work up to the maximum at your own pace. They are also made from good quality fabric kind of like a hiking backpack and are very well constructed. If I could give these more than five stars I would!

hat they get a little uncomfortable from sweat buildup towards the end of a workout is the worst i can say about them. they work and are sturdy and the velcro is strong enough for the job, i give them a 9/10 overall

I tried these weight to create more strength. I used them for basic workouts, and even rowing. You definitely feel the extra weight and it makes the workout more challenging and fun! Overall, the product seems pretty good. I only worry about the elastic lasting long term when tightening the weights. But a good item to use during workouts. I just wished they had more weights, because the one sold on amazon USD has one with more weight for a little bit more.

Update: (changing from 5 star to 4) So I just bought the ankle weights almost a year later (since I really enjoyed the wrist weights I bought a year ago). I have to say the ankle ones were not as good. They constantly need to be re-adjusted because they will slide with the weight ( i got the 22lb set, 11 lbs each). I also had the metal hit me a few times, so had slight bruises on my leg. The workout itself was good though and challenging. But, I am going to have to add my own padding and possibly extra band to keep the ankle weight from slipping down. I’d say get the wrist weights, they are great. But avoid the ankle weights. The cost was not worth it in my opinion.

These weights are really great as you can adjust the weight in them. My son has been using them in his training and he likes them as well. I would recommend you pick these up as it will help you strengthen your legs and arms

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve been watching too many Naruto cartoons and love Rock Lee I hope I will use these and gain a little leg strength. They’re easy to put on. Comfortable at the moment. Definitely heavy enough to make you concentrate on your walking. Working out wearing these will definitely be hard work. I’ve also ordered a pair for the wrists. Interested to see the results in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple way of exercising

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSuper great product! Can’t believe there are so few reviews. I’ve been looking for an ankle weight thats more than 5lbs. They fit well, as well as any ankle weight I’ve used, especially considering the size of them. I want to get the arm weights too since I am so happy with these.

You can easily take weight out so don;t be intimidated by them. The stitching is high quality, the plates are high quality. These will become very popular I suspect as the brand develops.
