Xialvyu Gaming Mouse Pad, Desk Mat Large, XXL Mouse Mat 900

I’ve got a glass desk and had a laser mouse some years back that didn’t work properly on it. At the time I went back to using a mousepad out of necessity. Now, even though my current mouse doesn’t need one and will work on my glass I’ve kept using a mouse pad because I actually enjoy them now.
Prior to using this pad I’ve been using a much smaller mouse pad, but these are more a desk pad rather as the listing calls it a desk mat and it really is. It’s great.

The first that I look for in a good mouse pad is the edge stitching. This so important, and this desk pad is very good. Tightly woven it won’t come up at the edge and should last a long time. The backing is a nice rubberised material, and normally I want this to be very good on a smaller mat as it stops it sliding around my glass desk. On this mat it is very good still, but the sheer size of it just the friction along really does help it stay in place.

The top coat, probably the most important for most people is how well the fabric allows the mouse to glide over it. I’m using a Logitech G502 HERO and it’s providing a smoother surface than the glass it’s sitting on. It cleans well, and hasn’t become furry or bobbled up at any point. It’s really a good mat.

Do measure your desk though, it is a large gaming mouse pad.
