Never really been a fan of these blanket hoodie until I found this one . My main problem was I felt claustrophobic around the neck but this has a half zip so problem solved. Thought I’d give it a go and all can say is I Love It! Very comfy and warm nice length to just below my knees. All in all a brilliant purchase.
“A snuggley oversized hoodie that’s as warm as a duvet but more practical to walk around in.” That is a direct quote from my other half who is always cold when the weather turns but so far every night after work she gets home and puts on her hoodie and is happy as can be.
We washed and airer dried the hoodie upon arrival and as soon as it was dry we both tried it on with our normal day-to-day clothes on underneath, and it fits plenty well on her and even has some wiggle room for me, I’m not huge, but I am a big lad, the fabric is nice and soft as you would hope for something like this, as I said we gave it a wash in the machine with a couple of towels on a 30 wash and had no issues but being a light pink I’d doubt we’d have noticed much of a colour run it dried in a timely manner on the airer but as yo u can guess it takes up a lot of space.
With winter on its way and idea of having to use the heating getting more dreaded by the day this will definitely help, and I can see a couple more under the tree this Christmas if I can wait that long.
I’ve been using it to sit in my garden in the evenings and sometimes the outside temperature has been down to 15c. This is so warm and comfortable to wear. At the moment our house is not dropping below 19c and this is too warm to sit in.
The hoodie itself seems fairly well made, there are a few manufacturers long threads here and there, but nothing too obvious.
It has two hand pockets on the front.
This hoodie is not super huge and would fit most. I found the photos on the Amazon page makes it look much larger on the model than it actually is.
It is a perfect baggy size on me, but not excessively generous and I usually take a size 18.
This hoodie has a small zip at the front that enlarges the neck hole in order to put it on over your head.
I am quite short and it comes just below my knee, so if your tall and large then this may not be the one for you.
Overall this is a very warm item that is good value and cosy to wear.
This is super soft and snuggly, comfortable and will keep you warm. The fabric is extremely warm and thick. I will say the ‘one size fits all’ is of course not true. I own another oversized fluffy blanket hoodie that is quite a few inches bigger all round, so if you are a bigger person, this one is probably not the best choice. It does fit me (I can be anything from an 18 to a 22 – you know what sizes are like!) so this fits snugly to my body rather than being baggy. My other one has the nice baggy, over sized feel. So depending on your size, this is a great or an alright choice!
The material is thick ( unlike others I’ve seen) and plenty of it so nice and roomy ( size 20) with added bonus of a hood and large pockets for keeping mobiles etc handy .
