Purchased this to replace a very similar one that got its first leak after 4 years of heavy use. Head is good with keys of different setting, loads of connectors to fit different tap types and even came with water tight tap to use if it ever does leak
I was a bit worried that it would not be long enough but l was very wrong as it is more than long enough and powerful. Only tested it out but will fully make use of it soon.
I got this hose mainly to use for washing the car and general cleaning tasks around the outside of the house.
There were some features of this hose set that I was attracted to. These include the type of hose, the range of included accessories and the spray head. I was particularly keen to reap the benefits offered by the tap adapter so that I could make use of warm water. My existing hose is the well known brand and of stiff construction and I was finding that it was continually kinking and impeding the flow of water, especially as I need to route it around the corner of my house to get from back to front. I’ve not had this issue so far with this new hose.
The included brass fittings feel of good quality, as does the hose itself. I did find it unusual though that the hose to spray head fitting is a screw type as opposed to the usual push on fir. This may limit somewhat the choice of replacement head further down the line.
It is a decent set that is easy to store away after use.
This extendable garden hose vastly exceeded my expectations. Installation was a breeze, and its stretchy yet durable design provides ample length for reaching every corner of my garden. A reliable choice for hassle-free watering.
I’m using this in my greenhouse as it is so lightweight and coils up nicely. When the summer comes I will also be stretching it out of the greenhouse into the back of the garden as there is plenty of extra length on this hose.
Simple to put together – just choose the right brass fittings to add to the end of the hose to fit your tap. The included sprayer has lots of different angles and spray patterns – not sure what they are all for, but if you need a certain pattern then it is probably available.
I especially like the hose hanger that fits over you tap and lets you keep the hose tidy and in one place.
I am fed up with lugging my long garden hose out of the shed every year as it’s heavy and cumbersome, so I’m very excited to try a lightweight and compact hose instead – it’s so small in its box, it’s going to free up so much space in the shed!
It has brass fittings which look good and solid and I do like the manual shut off valve too – my others have a ‘stopper’ within the hose end, but this is a manual lever which is easy to use. The box has a range of accessories included, a holder to attach to the wall (very handy), a gun with multiple spraying options (although my other gun doesn’t work on here so it must be a different fitting from those you normally buy), a roll of PTFE tape, washers, and a handy storage bag.
It’s amazing to watch it expand as it fills with water. It took good pressure and the nozzle head had a good selection of options. I used the shutoff valve to stop water coming through and it worked effectively. I’ve heard expanding hoses don’t last as long as traditional hoses so it will be interesting to see how this one does but, for now, it’s 5 stars from me and I’m delighted with this set.
Using this with a medium powered pressure washer and the combination works perfectly. There are zero leaks and the brass fittings not only look good but work as intended. I do like the shut off valve so when you have finished watering and you are 100ft away from the tap then you can stop the water straight away and not having to race back and turn off at the mains.
Really good quality this hose and a well deserved 5 star rating at a fair price also.
Genuinely fed up of my plastic hose getting notches in and stopping the water The one I had been using is under a year old and its jamming up ALL THE TIME.
This material saves me from all those kinks and twists Its lightweight and so much easier to use around the garden!
The only downside is I cant use the windup reel I have with this kind of hose but because its so easy to use I can simply wrap it up and store in the handy bag it comes in. Plus I can then throw it in the shed out of the harsh UK winter elements no doubt extending its life.
I was a little reluctant on using this as I had a different flat hose manufactured product bust open when the sprayer was closed the water pressure ripped a hole in the side of it. No such problems with this one Its clearly well made and should last me a long time.
You also get loads of accessories in the box, including a number of tap adaptors and a decent spray nozzle.
Another note I have a fishtank located in the living room quite a distance from a tap.. the lightweight nature of this and the reach is perfect and makes the job a LOT easier.

Just got this to put in place by my shed and given it was a review item much appreciated.
First off is that it’s good quality with brass fittings all round – always a good sign. The hose seems to be robust enough to last a reasonable length of time although my experience with these extendable hoses is that you get two or three years of regular use before something pops.
The water gun end has the usual array of spray patterns so you can blow all of the compost out of you pot when you forget to swap it back from shower or flood…. The actual quality of the gun is middling. About the same as a name brand offering but no better.
There is one niggle with the gun though. It doesn’t come with the standard nipple that is more common and used by pretty much everyone. The hose has what appears to be a 3/4″ threaded valve that you screw the gun onto which means its pretty much stuck with that only. You couldn’t run this out and attach it to a sprinkler easily or put a new gun on if this one gets damaged.
Overall, fair value for a decent product. I just wish it had the standard Hozelock style fitting.

Got this tonight and have used it already. Brass connectors, PTFe tape and spare neoprene washers. Worked fine on test. The sprinkler gun has a number of different spray patterns. Brass connectors are good quality. Looking forward to using this more as it will be better than traditional hose. 5 stars
