YITAHOME Dressing Table & stool set,Vanity Desk w/ 3-Color

This dresser was not cheap, in fact it’s the most expensive item I bought for just myself. But because I was in need of a useable dresser (unlike the dresser passed down to me) I wanted something practical and have all my products in one place. I did question whether I would use it enough to justify the price tag.

The assembly instruction is just images of which parts you need together which is self explanatory. It’s easy to follow and understand. I built it on my own, but had my hubby lift the mirror (I’m 5 months pregnant). I did improvise as I went along as I didn’t have the space needed to install certain things. The whole experience was actually great but I do love my DIY sessions.

But once everything was tightened, the pieces were not exactly flat tight together, just held together by the bolts. For an expensive item, I am concerned about the longevity of it. Some of the materials are lightweight meaning they have used a cheaper material, which is most likely an mdf wood.

I bought a bedside table which is a similar style and it was quality wood compared to this one. Which is disappointing to say the least since it’s an expensive furniture!

Once the table was assembled it has held together, but I wouldn’t move it on my own or much to be honest otherwise you’re risking the bolts to loosen and have parts come off.

The storage seems small and it didn’t seem like it would fit all my items in, but I was impressed that it had taken all of my stuff. I have actually used it everyday unlike my old one (which the drawers were difficult to open!). My daughters were also amazed by the look of it and goes through my make up to do theirs (they’re only young children).

I love the style and I love the accessibility for my hairdryers and straighteners, it’s very elegant and modern. The light is great! But I would say it’s over priced for the materials used though.
