AMANSON PC Case- Pre-Install 9 ARGB Fans,ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case with Double Tempered Glass Full View Computer Cases,H09,Black
Bought this as my first time building a PC. The cables for all the fans came a little tangled at the back as I believe the cables used to hold them together before building came undone, but was rather easy to pick them apart. All fans and lights work perfectly, is bigger than I expected though (but I didn’t read the size so that’s on me) as when looking at the picture it looks more rectangular but in reality it’s more square shaped. Lovely bit of kit and definitely made building easier that the fans are pre-installed into the case so all I needed to do was plug them into the motherboard. It’s super quiet too which is a plus. Case seems sturdy too which I appreciate. Looks great, video doesn’t do justice to how nice the lights look in this case. Only downside is that the instruction manual it comes with is more targeted to a different case, so some of the instructions don’t match. This came in a little complicated when I was trying to install the graphics card and the manual said to unscrew the gaps on the side to give it space, when on this case you need to pop them out. But it’s quite easy to work out once having a look, and if you’ve built a pc before I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. Definitely recommend!
The case showed up, its a mid size case with lots of room, there are 9 ARGB fans included with a ARGB controller that can be used with a LED Button on the case or connected to the motherboard ARGB Connector. The glass is actually tempered glass. The case looks real nice and for this price you are getting a real good deal. Fans are not bad at all they are decent fans
Fans mostly the wrong way. No remote and rgb board corroded and not working. Bought an aftermarket one that has a remote and controls rgb of fans and their speed. I used the 360 thermalright cpu cooler. If you have a big psu then wires can be a little tight. Mounted the gpu side on first but only left a small gap and screws didn’t line up so fitted it the conventional way and used an rgb support balanced on the edge of a fan. Only one USB 3 port and no USB C, so the description of the listing is incorrect. Otherwise, it looks good and is quie
Based on the reviews, I was not expecting much from this product. I am however glad to say that the product arrived undamaged, on time and adequately packed.
The case has plenty of room for all of my hardware, albeit there are some downsides that prevent it from getting a full 5 stars!
Pros:
– Plenty of room in the “Display” area
– Hidden compartment at the back for power supply
– Decant build quality for its price tier
– Plenty of fans for cooling
– Fans are bright, quiet and powerful enough.
Cons:
– Plastic peel on glass is taped between the two panels, so as soon as you go to build inside it, some of the peel comes away and makes it easy to get fingerprints on the glass before you even get started. In addition to this, it lacks plastic peel on the inner of the glass, so it is vulnerable to fingerprints there too
– Despite taking up a huge footprint on the desk, space allocated for cable management is not as big as you would expect. Whilst there is plenty of room to jam it all in, the cable management nerds amongst us would struggle to get it perfect.
– Lacks USB C port, which in this day and age would be a nice to have feature
Though it has its drawbacks, it is a really good product at this price point, and is a direct competitor for some of the more premium cases on the market at half the price (Though USB C and a bit more cost would be preferable), its build quality is acceptable for the price point, and it does look really good when all is said and done, so if like me you wanted to save some money and still have a good looking case, then this could be a great choice for you!
Fans installed making a mess at the back i had to remove all fans and reinstall them to make cable management tidy case it’s self is magnificent to be hones
This was my Christmas present from my wife and kids and wow what a present it is, i have moved from a Riotoro Morpheus to this new case.
The moving of components was fast and easy and the results afterwards speak for themselves
This case deserves to be advertised a lot more than it is and with a lot more hype
The Pros:
The Price for this case is phenomenal, they paid 120 for this case and that compared to NZXT H9 starting price of 170 is an absolute bargain
Build Quality for the price is excellent, strong, sturdy and elegant double glass design
this case takes a 360 rad in 3 positions top, bottom and back panel, they purchased me a Thermalright Notte 360 AIO, i replaced the Thermalright fans with the case fans so all fans matched and the temps are very when idle 35 Degrees C and Max of 75 Degrees C when on full load
the Fan noise is almost none existent, running them on MAX and they are a very low hum, my RX 6900-XT fans produce more noise than the case fans
Lighting control is great, if you do not have an ARGB header on your motherboard then you are supplied with a remote control as well as secondary button control placed next to the reset button. The remote allows you to cycle through 12 base colours as well as allowing you to change through 5 speed settings and countless modes. If you do have an ARGB Header on your motherboard then your motherboards supplier will have their own software with a multitude of colour options available.
The case allows vertical placement of your graphics card
As with every product there are always some cons
The Cons:
Cable management is not the best, it could do with the shield to close off the cables in the second compartment but there are lots of tie points and if you do it right it looks clean and tidy
Pop Outs for graphics card placement, this took me back to the 90’s with PC builds, i wasn’t bothered with popping out the slots but i know a lot of people like to have the slots that can be replaced if selling on the case etc
more ARGB splitter cables as i had to split it 3 times from the motherboard for the AIO Fans, Case Fans and Graphics card and as you see from the picture i couldn’t take the cable for the Graphics card under or around i had to cross over because the ARGB just wouldn’t reach (i have ordered an additional slitter cable which is long)
The fans have no rubber corners so i will guess over time that there will be some noise that will come off the fans as the screws loosen slightly with usage.
Finally although you can place your graphics card vertically there is no PCIE extension cable or support arm provided with the case (i will have to look for some aftermarket options if they are available)
All in all this case is a top contender and it goes to show that you do not need to pay extortionate prices for a quality produc
I Love this case even tho it is not come with fans , I brought some separately and I’m telling you I was able to fit in all six fans ,. This case is perfect for any game
Had a few setbacks with hardware but finally got my new build finished today and absolutely loving it!
Looks amazing and keeps the GPU nice and cool. Used to have my aio in front of case but this setup definitely looks better and also been proven to be slightly better setup for gpu temps as while gaming that is what is being used the most.
May even be tempted to do a full watercooling setup in this eventually!!!
