Angoily Drain Grate Outdoor Drainage Cover Channel Grate

This drain cover is obviously designed to be slotted together as part of a larger channel. There are 3 holes on one side edge, with 3 protruding pegs on the opposite edge. I ordered it to use as a single drain cover. We live in an older property that doesn’t always have square drain chambers. Some of them are rectangular, and it can be challenging to find off the shelf covers that fits well, without leaving large gaps. This cover is great, as you can just place it over any suitably sized drain surround to prevent leaves and other debris from clogging your drain. I just about managed to get away without having to cut the grate to fit the downpipe. If you did need to cut a slot out, I’m not sure how easy it would be, as the material this is made from is very tough indeed.

You only get one cover, so I think they are very expensive. I certainly couldn’t bring myself to pay almost 20 for just one. I can only imagine the cost if you were trying to do a whole drainage channel using these. Having said that, the quality of this cover is exceptional. It’s really solid, almost an inch thick, and completely rigid. I cannot bend it in any way. It has really good grip and anti slip texture on top. I’m surprised it doesn’t tell you in the product description if it’s suitable for vehicles to drive over. I would say from the omission of this information that it’s probably not suitable. It’s definitely suitable for the heaviest of people to walk over it though, and looks like it would withstand many years of heavy footfall.
