This flip phone is really good and so easy to use my wife loves it she just has to open the cover and answer the call no screen tapping or swipe to use great buy
I bought this for the mother in law as she can’t use many of the newer ones but this is perfect for her with big buttons only the simple features she wants and the added bonus of a sos button that will text 5 people automatically with a request for help.
I am 74 and not very tech savvy!! This phone was super easy to set up. I set it up in 5 minutes!! I could not believe it after trying with other “easy set up” phones. To call, you press a button and dial your number. Easy peasy. It is for my 84 year old husband who is in hospital. It was just over 20 and I got a PAYG 5 SIM from Lebara. So if you need a big number, easy phone – this is the one. I am so pleased!!
Brought for my aunty, as unable to see her old one well.
Now it is in use every day.
The dock is a good addition as there is no fiddling with a cable, she can just slide it in to the dock
This little phone is perfect for my elderly wife who is not at all tech-savvy. Even she took to it after a little tuition and encouragement. it does all she needs it to and gives us all an added sense of security that she will always be in easy touch if we or she is away anywhere. For the price it is a gem and with a monthly 6 giff-gaff goodybag cheap as chips.
I bought this so that my grandmother in her 80s could have a mobile phone again after she lost confidence with a smart phone.
Functions very similar to a Nokia 3310 which was the last phone she was happy with.
The SOS button has also encouraged her to keep it with her at all times.
There’s also an eyelet where you can attach a cord or string to make it easier to find in a full handbag.
I bought this phone for my father, who is in lockdown in a nursing home. He was struggling to use FaceTime and we wanted something simple so he could keep in touch with the family in the last few weeks/months of his life. This is a simple, no-nonsense, phone which he is able to use even when he has just taken medication. We programmed the four numbers for the family members and, even if he does not know what he is doing, he manages to get through to one of us when he wants to talk. We added a sim with unlimited minutes for 5 per month as he is not technologically savvy enough to text or use the features of more modern phones. This has made the world of difference to all of us, being able to remain in daily contact, especially for him to be able to contact us when lonely.
I got this as a replacement phone for my mother in her late 70s. She loves this phone more than her previous one. I’d say it’s perfect for OAPs. Great battery life with large buttons and loudspeaker.
It’s a pity it cannot run WhatsApp, but it’s not an android phone.
