I have never made a Review for another shampoo before but this Shampoo is amazing. I have oily hair. With this shampoo my hair laster at least 5 days then it got oily again. smells grea

I have very dry hair, and I live in a hard water area. I have tried lots of different shampoos and conditioners, but my hair has always looked dry and dull. I used this shampoo with the conditioner and now my hair is smooth and shiny! I can’t believe it actually works, I have not had shiny hair for many years – thank you Aveeno!!!

I purchased this shampoo to help reduce dryness of the scalp which other well known shampoo brands have failed to achieve.

I am aware of the effectiveness of the brand for skin applications/moisturisers, as such I thought I would see how effective it is on the hair and scalp.

Firstly, the product is a reasonable sized bottle and for about the 5.30 price point (at time of purchase), I find it to be competitive pricing against the well known high street retailers which i have seen in excess of the 8 region.

The product does perform pretty well. It has a really nice, clean and pleasant scent to it which is enough to give a nice odour to the hair once dried but isn’t to over powering.

You don’t need a great deal of product to achieve a good lather and a good coverage over the full scalp. I then allow the shampoo to sit for a minute or 2 before rinsing. I repeat the process twice to maximum effectiveness.

I did find that the product did help reduce dryness of both the scalp and hair but in no way is it 100% effective and for me it is necessary to condition after using an alternative brand.

The bottle is an easy use ” snap ” style lid that can easily be operated one handed in the shower and once closed the lid achieves a tight seal. I have knocked this shampoo over several times and taken away in over night bags and have had no leakages.

For reference I male with medium length hair and I use this daily and expect the bottle to last several weeks before needing to order more.

I would be happy to recommend the product and will likely order again.

This is the second time I’ve bought the shampoo which is lovely – a little goes a long way and it does a good job, my hair feels really clean. The bottle is not so good, or more to the point the cap. I’ve broken nails trying to get it open then the flip lid broke loose and is no longer attached. Other Aveeno products I use have new style bottles with much better caps but this one is still in the old style bottles. Also the price seems to keep going up way above inflation. So only 4 stars even though this is a great shampoo.

I absolutely love Aveeno it never disappoints me ive used they baby range of shampoo as well , i buy it for my sons dog that has bad sore skin shes a white dog they tend to get burnt from the sun and her coat gets dry and scabby so i use Aveeno baby range on my dog and sons dog no harsh chemicals. This shampoo is gorgeous i washed my hair last night 9/2/24. And blow dried it and my hair smelt lovely and whole hair felt soft and shiny. Usually by the next day my hair would be greasy and my scalp would be so itchy. Its not good for your hair to wash it every day so I leave it as long as possible but of late my hair just gets greasy sooner . But since ive used this shampoo my scalp feels lovely no itch no greasy hair this morning. It means everyone can use it as my son has itchy scalp too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has greasy roots and dry ends because it works . All of the Aveeno range is excellent its worth every penny.

Its amazing helps with dry itchy scalp as I suffer with that and makes my hair so soft and shiny and smells lovely just think it’s really expensive now it keeps going up u need to keep it a affordable price for people to keep buying i

Very pleased with this shampoo and use it often. Always leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and shiny. More importantly it really helps to clear up any dry scalp issues I’ve had. Can be pricey when not on offer but well worth the money for lovely silky hair.
