Crisp and distinct clicks – that kind of mechanical clack I am really craving. It types so well, and has a pleasant brightness to the keys. My favorite feature is being able to hit FN + ~ to enter lighting programming mode. I can then decide which keys I want to have lit at a given time. When I’m gaming, I use this to make WASD, and only the inputs I will use on the game show up.
I love computer games and have used many keyboards, but I have never tried a mechanical keyboard before. This mechanical gaming keyboard has refreshed my experience. First of all, it has a very fast key response and a great touch feeling, thus it can greatly enhance my gaming experience. And my skill as well as performance is improved with it. Although the noise when pressing the keys is slightly louder than other ordinary keyboards, it is still within an acceptable range. It also has a blue backlight, which gives a very cool feeling in a dim place. Playing games with it feels awesome. It is not a wireless keyboard, otherwise it would be a great choice. Overall, the user experience is very good.
I didn’t want to make the same mistake I did with the last keyboard I got and since I definitely wanted a mechanical one and with back lighting, to replace the company provided one for work and also one to not break the bank since I wanted to change the keycaps and also keep my numpad lol 5/5 would recommend.
The Baoced gaming keyboard delivers impressive affordability, making it a solid starter option for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. However, my experience has been mixed.
As someone accustomed to a full-size layout, the compact design requires an adjustment period. Additionally, the plastic casing emits an annoying moaning sound when adjusting or placing the keyboard, though thankfully it disappears during use.
On the bright side, the red switches offer a satisfying clicky sound, and the lighting customization is intuitive even without a manual for tech-savvy users. The wired USB-C connection ensures reliable, low-latency input, and the anti-ghosting feature works as advertised.
The keycaps are easily removable and stay secure, and the included tool makes cleaning a breeze. The visually appealing combination of white and light blue, enhanced by the futuristic blue lighting, looks fantastic both on and off.
While some minor drawbacks exist, the pros outweigh the cons, especially considering the price. I’m currently using this keyboard to write this review, and it’s a worthy choice for budget-conscious gamers who can adjust to the compact layout.

Keyboard has some heft to it, probably because of a metal sheet inside the keyboard. Brown keys have a subtle detent when pressed, similar to a membrane/rubber dome keyboard along with mechanical feel.
Keyboard is around 2″ narrower than a normal full size keyboard due to moving keypad to the left, four of the typical nine keys moved above the keypad, and the rest assigned as FN+ keys.
All of the keys have their own led backlight at the top (north) part of the key. Any legends below the top part of the key are not backlit. Using the keyboard at a normal (not top down) angle, the key fonts are readable and backlight is sufficient. Backlight is bright enough to be visible in office lighting, and backlight can be turned off for better contrast. In the dark, the keyboard is very bright at highest backlight setting.
There are four backlight levels and many patterns, plus the ability to customize lighting groups. Keyboard remembers the backlight and pattern settings through power cycles.
I can imagine a keyboard enthusiast making this a part of their winter collection.
