I am really happy with this kettle, the colour is great (light grey) the kettle looks more expensive than it was. Good quality plastic and easy to clean. It lights up when boiling and isn’t too loud.
Bought as a replacement for the Breville Impressions kettle that I purchased from Amazon in 2018.
As far as I can tell, this one has all the features of the one that it replaces, just hope that it lasts as long.
First time I have matching kitchen items and really feeling like a grown up . Toaster is really good, doesn’t burn my morning toast in level 3. Kettle is standard, nothing special about it except it matches my toaster. Bought it together to get a better value. It was one of the cheapest and the most stylish looking ones. Happy with their performance over two months now.
This replaced a metal kettle where the ‘press button’ lid opening stopped working. The Breville is plastic, so much lighter, the lid is a simple ‘pull off’ and, since it covers most of the top surface, is quite easy to fill, and it boils quickly. Pleased with this purchase.
My last one of this model lasted three years and it is frustrating when something works well that you cannot replace parts. But in todays world I guess three years is good for something that is used every day.
My old kettle came to it’s end so I had to buy another. Once I received my new Breville Bold Vanilla Cream Electric Kettle, literally next day, I couldn’t believe how gorgeous it looked. It’s very elegant and smart, lovely creamy colour, boils up quickly with no noise to worry about and I absolutely love it! I definitely recommend this kettle.
Needed a kettle in a hurry as came home from a weekend away to a broken one. It arrived next day and functions as a kettle should. Only slight disappointment is the body seems to be quite thin. When filled with water, you can see the level against the body shell and don’t need to use the cup indicator. I’ve bought other Breville kettles in the past and found the older models had a thicker body.
I brought this aa a set, the colour showed up as darker in the pictures but in reality the colour us much lighter than expected. Both the kettle and toaster are easy to use. The timing for the toast is quick. The kettle boils up quickly too. The size of the appliances are standard so don’t take up any more space. The kettle is not to noisy which is good.
Cheap but built for purpose. Before this purchase I bought a glass kettle for the aesthetic design from a supermarket at almost double the cost which lasted hardly 3 months before the glass cracked. I’ve had this for longer and it’s in constant use everyday, multiple times a day. You could fill about 8-9 cups out of this and it boils within a few minutes plus easy to fill and pour with a removable lid.
After less than a year, our fancy brown toaster from Russel Hobbs kept blowing our electrics out so had to be returned (although no problem with the return, just disappointed as it matched my kettle). This one from Brevelle is not fancy but doing the job. We have only had a week and it is big enough for the wider bread and toasting evenly. As we have only had it for a week, I will update you if there are any problems.
Having read a review and watched a video from 1.10.23 of someone mentioning that the kettle wouldn’t turn on, I was reluctant to purchase. However I decided to give it a go because the kettle looked robust and stylish and was reasonably priced. Having had it for almost a week I am glad that I did. I have established that the kettle on the video clip wouldn’t turn on as there is no water in it and it’s a safety mechanism to prevent the element from overheating and giving off toxic fumes (as recently mentioned in the press where people have been putting just one cup of water in their kettles to conserve energy). If the lady has had other issues with it not turning on with water in it, then fair enough. I actually think that the safety aspect is excellent and I much prefer this kettle than other more expensive ones I have purchased on that basis alone. I haven’t given it five stars simply because it can spurt water when pouring, unless I am a bit heavy handed and still conditioned to pouring my old one as it is early days. Also the black cord means it doesn’t look as good as it would in white. Apart from that it looks great though and feels sturdy. The plastic feels thicker than the usual you get which adds to its feel.
I can’t quite make up my mind about this product. It looks good, and toasts fairly well. However, when you press the handle down you have to do so very gently, otherwise it will tip over. The second issue is that the wire plates sometimes stick preventing to toast from popping up when it’s done.
I wouldn’t recommend it.
Looks great. It feels a bit light and flimsy but it has all the basic functions. The toasting is not very uniform. It’d be great if it had something to cover it while not in use so it does not collect dust.
Overall it’s good for the price range.
