Came-TV V Mount Battery MINI 99C 6900mAh 99Wh 14.4V, V Lock
Came-TV V Mount Battery MINI 99C 6900mAh 99Wh 14.4V, V Lock Battery with 65W PD Type C Fast Charging 1.5 Hours/D Tap/USB A/Dual DC Ports/BP/OLED Display for Camera Camcorder Monitors LED Light Drones
It has been charged and seemed to hold its charge when I first got it but coming around to shooting with it and the battery is draining significantly and not putting out the correct power to my BMPCC4K, it is only powering the body of the device and nothing else so I have no clue why it fails to work. Unfortunate, given the seemingly otherwise good reviews.
UPDATE:
After sending a message to CAME TV they went along and sent me a fresh battery at no extra charge which came the very next day, this one I ensured to discharge and then charge fully and have yet to have any issues, their customer service is better than Amazon’s and they’re super helpful so this review is reflective of that despite the issues
This mini v mount battery is super compact. A great battery that does the job. The connection is snug and secure. It’s lightweight, and small. It has D-TAP, USB-A, and bidirectional TYPE-C (USB-C) supporting up to 45W PD2.0 and PD3.0, along with 12V DC and 8.4V DC interfaces. It works perfectly with my Sony A74. This is a great battery, the size and extra power outputs make this a great value. Recommend it.
The compact design and lightweight construction make it easy to carry in my backpack or drone bag. The 6900mAh capacity ensures longer flight times for my drone, allowing me to capture more aerial footage without worrying about running out of power mid-flight. Thanks to the built-in safety features, like over-charge and over-discharge protection, I can focus on capturing stunning visuals without worrying about battery malfunctions. Multiple charging options add to its convenience.
This is compact and powerful. Easy to transport. I found so far it has a great battery life and is also very easy to charge. This is well priced and is of great quality. Very happy with this and I would definitely recommend.
Very good quality V mount battery made from very good materials.
I have to admit Came-TV is not a brand I have heard of before but I have to say I am very impressed with this v mount battery it is solid and sturdy its like having a mini tank, also as much as I hate to admit I have dropped this a few times by not attaching it properly to devices and I have had no problems not even a dent or scratch on it but I could just have been luck.
This is my first ever v mount battery so I was not really sure what to expect and I am glad I got this, I have been using this for a month now with everything from just having it in my bag to charge my mobile phone to using it with a DSLR camera, LED lights, camera lights, charging my laptop etc.
Has six ports that can be used to connect devices but so far I have only been using three of the ports USB-C, USB-A and the D-tap, I don’t really know how to measure the battery life but I have had the battery on 100% charged and charged an iPhone 14 Pro Max from 2% to 100% and still had 80% battery remaining which I consider is good. I have also been using it with a COB video light all day and it did not run out BUT the light was not on the whole day when I was not using the light I would turn it off, not using the light at 100% all the time etc to help with the battery life.
At first glance the display screen on the battery does not look very big BUT they have made very good use of the space you can see what it displays clearly and it is bright which is exactly what you want from a screen display.
Overall I am very happy with the V mount battery and I would definitely recommend it.
Really useful battery that’s well made, charges quickly and has all the connection types I need to run my camera rig, lights, charge my drone, etc. It’s well made, slots nicely onto a V mount plate and hooks up no trouble at all to everything I need to run from it. The display is simple but functional and clear, exactly the way I like it.
Can’t fault it.
This battery has more connection points than you can shake a stick at!
That said, in my case I’m only using it for the USB-C (which is underusing it I know).
It’s big, solid and heavy, as it would have to be with this power capacity. A 65w output is unusual for powerbanks and for my needs I wanted a solid performing high output device. This does the trick nicely.
The build quality is great and it definitely feels like a premium item. I have no way to measure the exact watthour capacity, but I have no reason not to believe the stated capacity.
You’ll know if you need something this big and chunky and if you do, it works.
The Came-TV V Mount Battery MINI 99C 6900mAh 99Wh 14.4V, V Lock Battery arrived the next day.
The battery is very well made and it is quite small for the power its got in it.
The small OLED screen shows what is happening at the time when connected and the charge remaining.
It has a lot of various connections BP I Face /12 v DC/USB A /USB C/8.4 DC and DC Tap.
You can charge more than one device ar a time.
It takes and provides fast charging, reaching 90& in 1 and 1/2 hours.
Great Battery to have in your kit.
This is quite important for my filming setup because it allows me to record videos for a longer period of time and because I got this as the main battery, I still have the spare one just in case.
All the ports are properly and I can feed the cables without any issues and I didn’t actually pay attention to how long I can film because it takes quite a lot of time to set up the camera and this means that the battery is in use but I like the fact that it has an indicator which allows me to see the level and like this I can plan ahead.
Usually when the batter is completely drained I prefer to charge it to make sure that the time I want to use it it is full but the experience that I have with it is as I expected and I will consider getting another one to make sure that I have to the same.
The battery does exactly what it has to and also it is well built so for this reason I am happy with it.
Much of my photography and video recording is done in remote locations where there is no power access. This means that I have to rely upon rechargeable power sources for running or recharging various pieces of equipment. This Came-TV V Mount Battery is ideal for my requirements. The V mount is a good fit onto my V plates when used with a camera rig and I find the 65w PD output extends the running time of my COB lighting enabling me to extend my shooting time in low light conditions. It also does a great job of charging my drone batteries while I am working with my static cameras.
I find the OLED display extremely useful as it provides information in respect of power remaining and shows how much power is being used and how much usage time is available for the connected device. It also provides a clear indication of charging status. This battery has a good selection of connection types including D-Tap, BP interface, USB-A, USB-C, 12v DC and 8.4v DC outputs making it compatible with a wide range of devices. The outer casing is robust and the battery is supplied with a lanyard, charging cable and instructions booklet.
Overall this is in my opinion a good quality V-battery which is ideal for a wide rage of power requirements and has a good selection of connection options. Having used this battery serval times now, I am very pleased with its performance and confident to recommend.
I suppose this is aimed at those wanting to take advantage of the device to charge or power items for video or photography which a normal USB power bank might not be able to do. This compact unit has plenty of outputs which makes it perfect for travelling, would perhaps have been useful to include a couple more of the lower voltage outputs like USB or USB-C so that multiple devices can be used. That might be the draw of the bigger 99C version perhaps, not sure. This will be coming with us on our travels this Summer and might prove useful to have around for testing devices or running stuff off the grid. Its not overly heavy but then again it does have a few batteries inside.
This is a nice alternative if you’re looking for a more “compact” sized v-mount battery, however, that does of course sacrifice battery capacity being just 3450mAh; there are some on the market which don’t cost too much more that have around 6500mAh capacity.
With that said, it’s a very good v-mount battery which has a generous variety of ports and the display screen is a welcomed feature.
Nice little V mount battery pack that’s smaller than my others, making it a great addition to a cob light set up.
Used it on a set to power a cob light that was nestled away in a corner, not the easiest to access, and it ran it all day with no problem.
It’s got plenty of connection choices including D tap, so you can use this as a power bank for other things, but for photo/video lighting it’s great, made even better if you have the direct connection for it so less wires.
Pretty lightweight and basically decreases the real estate taken up by kit.
The small display gives you useful info and is clear and easy to read.
Impressive.
This is my first V mount battery it lasted all weekend using it with my canon r6 rig and monitor. Its easy to charge and basically plug and play.
I’m very satisfied with with it and used it to power video cameras to record long shows and small rig setup for run and gun…. the battery is phenomenal and its nice to know that i wont be swapping or watching the battery status half way through a job waiting to change it.

4. Built Tough: This battery can take a beating and keep on ticking. Plus, it’s super portable for on-the-go shoots.
Performance:
Seriously, this battery has exceeded my expectations. It’s reliable, versatile, and has never let me down on any shoot.
Conclusion:
If you need a reliable power solution for your gear, the Came-TV V Mount Battery MINI 99C is the way to go. Happy shooting, everyone!
V-mount lights are big, heavy and expensive but so many devices require them. This mostly applies to some of my video lighting. This battery is different! It’s a V-mount yes, but you are no longer stuck with V-mount and D-tap. USB-C is on board with 65W bi-directional charging with PD3.0 and Quick Charge 3! Normally I have to leave these batteries overnight to charge but this gets to 90% charged in just 90 mins. Because this has USB-C it means it I can easily use it to power my camera and since I plugged it in, it has ye to run out. It seems to last forever.
The battery is relatively small. Much smaller than V-mount batteries used to be and similar in size to the new models from other brands. One big advantage over those competitors is the LCD screen which shows the time remaining until the power finishes. Its such a smilple thing but its so useful. The other ridiculously silly thing that I love is the strap. Why would you need this? Not for your wrist – but you can easily hook it over a light stand without complicated expensive rigging. Nice!
Overall this is an evolution of the V-mount battery. It does more and it does it smaller, with more versatility, and more usability and that just makes it easier to justify the extra money
For those working in photography, videography and content creation, this device offers a space-saving and versatile solution. It has a capacity of 6900mAh, which is enough for all your creative work. Thanks to the 65W USB-C bi-directional fast charging port, you can charge the battery quickly and efficiently either way. It provides a range of interfaces such as D-TAP, USB-A and bi-directional TYPE-C to facilitate simultaneous charging of several devices. You can take this lightweight device wherever you want. Additionally, I was very pleased that the battery uses technology that protects against overcharging, overdischarging, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating.
Got this for my son to use as he is into his photography so this will come in very handy when he is out and about a he will need is this one unit and he will be sorted its very compact which makes it very easy to carry and store in his case its very easy to use and has very clear display showing you all the information u need to know I really do recommend this to others that like photography this is a must have you will not be disappointed it’s very good value for money and extremely good quality.
