There are fairly basic looking but functional Carbon Monoxide (CO) detectors. They came boxed with two detectors, two sets of screws and plugs for wall mounting, and a small set of instructions.
These round-shaped detectors are made from white plastic and designed to be wall mounted. The sticker on the rear indicates they have a maximum service life of 5 years. They each run on three AA batteries (not included) and these are very easy to insert by rotating and removing the back plate. When inserted the unit will chirp once to let you know it has power, and then one of the LED lights will periodically flash. The detectors do have an LCD screen, but the instructions explain this is only lit when the central test/reset button is pressed or the CO concentration exceeds 30ppm. This also has a memory feature where if the alarm sounds the LCD screen will display the peak CO level detected, giving you a clear indication of the detected levels. The alarm is loud and piercing, as you’d hope for a device that might need to get you awake in a hurry.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow (although I did notice the text seems cut off at the bottom of the first page on mine).
These aren’t going to win any novel aesthetic design awards, but if you’re looking for simple, no frills and functional CO detectors then these do the job very nicely.
great co2 alarm.i got it for kitchen[gas cooker]as my one in hallway went off but co2 had to build up in kitchen-living room first before it reached hall,gas man said i had a very close call which is why i bought this.

The Carbon Monoxide Detector was smaller than I expected, certainly smaller and lighter than the one being replaced. Of course the proof of how it works won’t be known until it detects carbon monoxide but the test button works well enough, price was good & arrived promptly.
