The fan was reasonably easy to install (provided you have a good electrical knowledge) however once in, the fan was straightforward to use, super quiet (extremely easy to sleep through) the timer function is a god send for those middle of the night heats. Couldn’t be more pleased
So only just had it fitted initially looks flimsy and cheap and plastic electrician fitted it works well goes from bright white to warm white by controls and dims and also the fan is quite powerful my only concern is leaving the fan on for full speed long time how well it lasts!
Looks stylish and easy to fit, I would of liked some slightly longer wire (Earth live and neutral) in order to wire it up easier however it’s easy to extend with blocks – fairly easy to install and the setting it up on the app is a breeze – very impressed with all features and lighting options too with the dimme
Had installed by an electrician that was already doing some work in the room, they said it was no problem to get fitted.
Setup with the App was a breeze and it works well with the remote, app and alexa (after linking the alexa app to the tuya app) although having now bought 2 more I do have to specify which one to control when using voice rather than it picking up the one that is assigned to the room group.
The unit is low profile at around 6.5″, the fan looks small compared to other ceiling fans but does a good job of moving the air around and was certainly handy in the recent mini heatwave. The light brightness and colour temperature are adjustable, at it brightest this really lights up the entire room and at it’s lowest still provides enough light to see what your doing/where you’re going without causing glare on a tv screen (Great for movie night).
Would like if there was a model that had coloured light but would still recommend this product.
Originally got one for the living room which was being rewired, have since bought another 2 which are in the main bedroom and the home office and will be ordering a further two shortly for a garage conversion.
Works like a dream. Have had it for about 4 months now and in the hot summer days it’s been a treat to use. It works very efficiently and quietly too, looks modern and the Bluetooth functionality via the app on the phone is cool and useful too as it basically provides you with another control so the wife is happy she can control the fan too! Would definitely recommend it as something different to the norm when it comes to ceiling fans and one that is very efficient at that despite its smaller size.
One irritating feature is the “beep” after switching on or off and other functions. Beep. You really don’t need that in the middle of the night particularly if others sleeping. Beep. I asked the manufacturers, and they said it can’t be turned off. Beep.
Using the fan: it is very good, super bright light and dim and warm if you prefer, it remembers the light settings when you kill the power at the switch. The fan on speed 1 is very quiet and gentle and it’s great on up draft as well. The app was fairly straight forward to connect.
Overall: a good fan, solid build to it, fitting up could have been made easier (lost 1 start) but with two of us we managed. I recommend this product, very good.
To connect to the app do the following:
. Download FanLamp Pro app
. Once in click the + button
. You must type in the name you want to call the device for example Fan Light
. Select to room it is in
. Click confirm
. There will be a small tile with the on off button and the name you gave it . . tap on the tile to open the settings
. Now turn off your fan/light at the wall light switch
. Turn on the light switch and within 5 seconds tap the connect button once, (the button is shown in the image of the app I have attached to my review)
. The fan will beep once and you are connected
The light works great and really nice having the timer function for leaving the fan on for an hour or so until you fall asleep. Also the app connects easily and works great too, being Bluetooth it seems you can only let one device control the light at a time, so wife has remote and I have my phone.
All in all an fantastic product as well as being well made and looks perfect.
