I like these so much that after my first pair broke from over tensioning, I picked up a second. They just feel the best out of all the various knuckle straps that I’ve used. The material of the strap is comfortable and the texturing on the controller cover is really nice. Make sure they aren’t too snug or they will snap at the bottom where the bottom strap mounted is located. It’s a weak structural point according to the design of the strap. I recommend keeping a little dangle on them so you’re really only using them when you let go of the controller. You can tell they are overtight if its pinching your hand near the top of the strap.
I like that these fit with the current battery door slot. They’re comfy while using and also just holding it from outside the strap. I like the texture only beware if you have big hands might not work as good
Tried a couple of the rubber cover grips they all seemed to have a intermittent negative affect on controller accuracy. This one is perfect! No impact on controller sensors! I would consider myself an ‘average’ man. and I only had to loosen the strap about 3/4″ for the tight grip that I like. So there are some exaggerations in other reviews in my opinion on strap size. That said if you have Larger, Thicker hands the straps might be too short. I considered that before buying and decided I would use a velcro cable strap as an extender if I had that issue as I needed to get rid of the covered ones that were problematic.
They pretty much got everything right with these. Nice material with good texture and the part that goes over your knuckles is comfortable ands seems to be made out of something that will last longer than the ones made out of leather like the kiwis from my Quest 2 controllers. They go on easy and the extension with a tiny knob that sticks out to hold them in place near the top is completely unnoticeable. All of the sensors are completely uncovered including the one at the bottom of the grip which I noticed a lot of other covers neglecting. Having the bay door to take the battery in and out is the very convenient icing on the cake really. They are also fairly affordable as I got mine for about $25. I don’t really see how they could get much better.
