Hoodie with zip arrived well packed in perfect condition.
I ordered size S and it fits perfectly with room to move. I ordered the dark grey colour and it looks nice on.
It’s a lightweight hoodie that is great for the not so cold months or to wear underneath a winter coat. It comes with multiple pockets that are very useful.
It’s a really nice and comfortable hoodie. It fits me almost perfectly, although i think it’s a bit to large for an M size. I like the fact that it’s quite thick, making it ideal for colder autumn days. The quality of the material is really nice as it doesn’t feel cheap and is really easy to wash. The only thing i don’t quite like is the orange on the zippers as I feel it’s to bright and stans out to much. Overall it’s a great hoodie, offering great value for money.
First things first, it’s decent value for 25.98. I mean, for that price, I wasn’t expecting a luxe piece, but it did impress me with its fleecy feel. Just the kind of thing for those nippy British evenings.
Pros:
Stylish: The overall look of the hoodie is pretty sleek. The zip-up feature makes it versatile, and it’s easy to throw on over a tee or even a lighter jumper.
Light but Cosy: It’s on the thinner side, but that fleecy interior does add a warm touch. Perfect for layering without feeling like you’re wrapped in a duvet.
Size Surprises: Bigger than expected, especially compared to my previous hoodies. Gives a bit of room to move, and who doesn’t like a bit of extra space?
Cons:
Colour Pop: That orange! A tad brighter than I’d like, and it does make a statement. It’s grown on me, though.
Minor Quality Hiccups: A couple of loose threads here and there, and unfortunately, my hoodie was missing one of those orange drawstring tips. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting.
Wearing it, it feels soft, and the hoodie itself is quite stretchy, making it ideal for a quick dash to the shops or a lazy weekend in. The zip up pockets are quite spacious, which is a bonus. Now, as much as I love the design, those bright orange zips do command attention, but they’ve added a quirky touch to my wardrobe. As for the missing drawstring tip, a tad disappointing, but not the end of the world.
All in all, if you’re looking for a decent hoodie that won’t break the bank and keeps you snug, this one’s worth considering. Perfect for those cooler days and adding a splash of style to the casual wardrobe.
Perfect Fit and Sizing:
The sizing of this hoodie is spot-on. It provides a comfortable and relaxed fit without feeling too baggy or restrictive. This makes it an ideal choice for various activities, whether I’m out for a run or just lounging at home.
Plenty of Zipped Pockets:
One standout feature of this hoodie is the abundance of zipped pockets. These pockets add a practical and stylish element to the design. They are not only convenient for storing essentials like keys or a phone but also contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the hoodie.
Optimal Thickness for Versatility:
The thickness of the fleece material strikes the perfect balance. It’s substantial enough to keep me warm during cooler days without making me feel overheated. This versatility makes it a go-to choice for different seasons and occasions.
Quality Construction and Durability:
The quality of the construction is evident in the durability of the hoodie. The stitching is solid, and the material holds up well to regular wear and washing. It gives me confidence that this hoodie is built to last, making it a worthwhile investment.
Smooth Zip-Up Functionality:
The zip-up feature of the hoodie functions smoothly without any snags. This might seem like a small detail, but it adds to the overall user experience. The zipper is sturdy and reliable, ensuring that the hoodie is easy to put on and take off.
Versatile Style:
The classic design of this zip-up hoodie makes it a versatile wardrobe staple. Whether I’m pairing it with jeans for a casual look or throwing it on over gym attire, it effortlessly complements various styles. The simple yet stylish design is something I appreciate.
Overall Impression:
The CTU Men’s Hoodies Zip Up Long Sleeve Fleece Jacket Hooded Sweatshirt has exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, functionality, and style. It’s a well-crafted piece of clothing that meets the demands of an active lifestyle while maintaining a sense of style. If you’re in search of a reliable and stylish zip-up hoodie, this one is definitely worth considering.
The hoodie you receive looks like it does in the picture, well kind of. I really like the look of the hoodie and whilst it does look the same, once on you notice the tassels hanging from every zip. Now these can be removed (pictured) and I personally have removed them as they over power the orange on the top more than the picture and that’s why they have almost blended them in on the Amazon page.
That’s my main difference but a minor issue that I have resolved. The hoodie fits perfectly and whilst on the thin side it is comfortable to wear The two pockets either side are big and on the inside they are not sewn on so they are loose, this means if you have the top open the pockets can be very visible and just flap around inside (pictured). The chest pocket is a nice size and will fit my iphone pro, this is sewn on one size on the inside so doesn’t move around much.
The top is slightly stretchy, the quality is better on the outside than inside and the hood is a good size.
Came vacuum packed.
4.0 out of 5 stars It's alright, Lightweight hoodie
Being on vine has opened my eyes to two things; to not immediately dismiss all unknown brand Chinese electronic goods as being ‘disposable’ and just how ubiquitous polyester is in clothing.
Initially I was struck by how thin the product is. It is not lined (other than the hood) but it is ‘brushed’ on the inside. The outer is a plain material (with bright orange zips!) that, if I am 100% honest, I am not a fan of. Maybe it is that it retains creases. If they go after it has hung for a while I will update my review.
Thinness is not, necessarily an issue. When you are expecting colder weather you can ‘layer up’, this hoodie is thin, ideal for cooler days, and when they turn to cold adding another layer will not be too bulky.
I found the finish to be mostly good, however there are noticeable clumps of thread at the ends of internal seams. These could have been easily trimmed.
I am now larger around the middle than I would like but this hoodie fit extremely well. I went for an XL.
The hood (for me) is slightly strange in design. It is double lined but is quite long and floppy. It does have drawstrings so maybe this will not be an issue on a windy day.
In summary, a hoodie that fits me extremely well, ideal for cool weather and can be layered for cold, but with slight finish issues and an overly long, loose, floppy hood.
This jacket is really good for the price point (25 at time of review) yes is not perfectly finished off inside but I see nothing wrong with that. The stitching on mine if fine and the fit perfect for my size. It’s very soft outside and in. Zips are a very good quality. For me this is a good buy.
Bought a XL not seeing any size info on the listing & leaning on the side if caution. At 40″ chest would usually get a large & I think large would have been perfect fit, though the XL fits fell with space to layer up.
Relatively thin material, but it’s actually failry warm & feels very nice to wear, quality seems to be good & feel should last a good while.
This zip up fleece is nice and warm and has good sized pockets and great feeling smooth zips.
It looks good but the inside does look a bit cheap with some slightly sloppy seams.
I’m not normally a hoodie person, but I thought this might be useful for chilly days. I’m a pretty standard 36″ chest medium fit. This medium was slightly too large for me. Not ridiculously so, but the fit was slightly large all over, including in the arms and body. And the hood felt disproportionately huge. In other respects it’s quite nice. Well made and the fabric is soft and pleasant. Without a size guide, I now feel I would have been better suited to a small size. However, I think I’ll get use out of it when walking on slightly chilly days
This is a nice comfortable jacket but is quite thin and I’m guessing not showproof. Having said that the fit is good, I’m a 36″ chest and I picked a large which will fit over a thick T shirt or thin fleece for me.
Good range of colours although I’m not over keen on the fluorescent orange zips, which seem to be common across all jacket colours, I’d have preffered a more subtle neutral colour for the zips.
I believe I have normal length arms but in common with a lot of makes of jackets and fleeces I find the sleeves a little long, but I’ve come to expect that !
Overall not a bad lightweight jacket which will be ideal on a chilly summer evening.

It washes and dries well too without shrinkage.
It’s getting loads of use at the moment!
