As a game controller it’s excellent, compatible with everything, but turning it off is a problem, basically it doesn’t have a power off option, it goes off when not used after a period of time or when the Bluetooth is unpaired. But apart from that it’s great.

Really surprised how great this was ! Fantastic, Im really happy with the item. Would say it’s value for money and packaged well. Quality product. I’d definitely recommend. Will add pictures when my phone is fixed as broke my camera

Good controller. Works perfectly and easy to set up. Only problem is that second monitor goes off/loses signal briefly whenever the controller goes to sleep after leaving it for a while. Doesn’t happen if using it wired. Annoying but not a show stopper.

Bought this as cheaper than the original and good reviews

My plan was to use it with game pass on quest 3.

However it was jumping all over the place at the menu making it unusable

So I tried out the Bluetooth mode the same with my tablet and worked great.

Figured out to get it to work with the quest you must use the android pairing mode not Bluetooth.

In xbox gamepass it will show as gamepad instead of Xbox wireless controller.

But just played halo infinite and works perfec

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant wee controller. If you're using with gamepass and quest read o

With three modes of connection (wireless dongle, usb wire and bluetooth) this controller is designed to work across various platforms. Having tried this on Win10 and an android phone I believe it is reasonably priced for the capabilities it has, and the quality of its build.

The shape is reminiscent of an x-box controller and is lightweight to hold. The controls are responsive, though the back r and l trigger buttons are quite squishy. A little more resistantance would help enable clearer tactile responses.

After reading through (almost) all the reviews, I figured you need to pair (bluetooth, no adaptor) this controller using the iOS method to a SteamDeck if you want the home button to function. I was on the verge of sending it back as having the home button work is important when you have your SD docked by the TV! I also wanted to be able to use it without the dock, hence the want for Bluetooth as opposed to USB adapter.

Other than that, it seems to work fine! Turns on, reconnects without issue and in a timely manner.

Quality is kinda mediocre but certainly not terrible. Perfectly fair for the price. Buttons feel fine to use too.

If this had clarification how to connect to Linux/SteamDeck in the instructions I would give it 5*

Our son uses this on his pc and it works great, simple to set up, the dongle is a good idea too. The controller is comfortable to use and the buttons all work well, the overall design is not the prettiest but it is very functional and at a good price. Comes with a charging cable, and charges quite quickly. Doesn’t lose connection while in use. Overall a good basic controller or space controller.

    Review from my husband:

This is a cool game controller for Windows. I have no idea about PS3 because I’ve never owned one, but as for PCs, this is great, dare I even say it rivals Microsoft’s stupidly priced Xbox controllers. It has more buttons than you could ever need and it sits in your hands perfectly comfortably. It has a snazzy little separate Bluetooth connection that you plug into a USB port and bam, you’re running, Most games find it and some may need some extra twiddling but in the end, you’ll get there. It has great force feedback to add that extra dimension to your games and for 30 quid you could do a damn sight worse than this. It’s not the best-looking controller out there and it does feel light but it works great with no fuss and pc gamepads that are any good have always, from the get-go, been somewhat of a unicorn (mythical beast) 4/5

I’ve done a lot of gaming over the years – from first gen Playstation playing Wipeout to a lot of PC gaming over the last 15 years. Over that time I have migrated to mainly keyboard and mouse. This is the first controller I have had for a while.
Taking the controller out of the box it is not the worst to look at, though I’m not a huge fan of the red go faster stripes at the edge of the grip material on either side or the red base of the thumbpads. It does have nice feel to it and is just heavy enough to feel comfortable to hold for long period without feeling massively cheap
Setup is very painless, within seconds in fact to connect to my PC via the wifi dongle.
Testing the controller at a gamepad testing site everything works perfectly, the hall effect is very precise and all buttons work as expected. Testing the vibration is the only indication that this may be a slightly cheaper controller as the rumble doesn’t feel quite as tight as some more expensive controllers I have felt, but it is still perfectly acceptable for my use. Setting the turbo button takes seconds, I can’t say exactly how many presses it does but it is rapid.
For the included video I mapped the A and right back button to be rapid fire for a demo.
Charging is easy and quick as well.
For the price I believe this is an extremely good controller. I have rated 5 stars because of the functionality for my uses, the quality and the price. Just make sure that it is compatible with the device you want to use it on.

Overall connectivity, responsiveness, ease of connection and the ergonomics of the controller are brillant. Everything works really well. My only drawback is that it feels light and very plasticky which gives it a fragile/cheap sort of feeling to it compared to the likes of an Xbox controller. Overall it works well on my PC

I bought this so I could sync it with my android tv and play games off the google playstore, pleased to say it works perfectly, straight forward plug and play, very happy with this purchase

Using this wireless controller, it’s a solid choice for various platforms. The plug-and-play setup is convenient, and the additional features like hall linear triggers and turbo vibration enhance the gaming experience. With a good 14-hour battery life, it’s reliable for extended gaming sessions.
The only cons is that using it with PC you necessarely need to plug in the adapter otherwise it does’t work with bt.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt looks very nice and designed as a replica of Microsoft Xbox controller but it is not the same quality hence reasonably priced at 17.50 at the time of my review. It works flawlessly with my Windows 10 laptop and Windows 11 PC but not with my Xbox. It will also not be compatible with any new PlayStation device except PS3.

I do play online games and controller is an important part of gaming especially fast pace ones. If is fine for normal games such as Skyrim etc but not fast action games. Battery life is good and it is lighter than original Xbox controller. If you are new to gaming or perhaps have a child who wants to play game and you don’t want your favorite controller to be messed with then buy this.

Would also make a perfect gift for Christmas if someone has bought a new computer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well with Windows PC but not for Xbox or PS.

Its clear where this product gets its inspiration from, and its not trying to hide it.

Using it was simple, plug and play at ots best, just plug in the USB dongle and turn on the pad…. that’s it!!

The design is familiar to anyone who uses a certain games console and it feels very similar. The pad has rubberised areas where your hand rests and it was comfortable and stable to hold. The sticks have a textured rubberised effect and this helps grip, its very effective but it may rub after a long session.

I tested the pad with a pad checker and every button was perfect. Good engagement on all buttons and both sticks were dead center and returned there every time. The triggers were also responsive, they’re not as refined as the more expensive pads and they felt a bit plasticky and clacky, but they’re perfectly useable.

Overall considering how much cheaper this is and how well it performed, I’d say its good value for money. Obviously this would be reliant on long term durability, so I’ll report back after its had a bit of use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works really well, feels cheaper but it is!

Everything worked fine, connected to both my PC and Android device without issues. For the price point everything feels as it should, it’s by no means a premium device so doesn’t have the weighty feel of a genuine Xbox or PS controller but I didn’t have any issue in use. Good value controller, just a pity it didn’t connect to either of my consoles.

The experience that I have with this product so far it is good but I have to mention the fact that I play from time to time and in one session I don’t do more than 30 to 40 minutes.

The connectivity is stable enough and also the controller is easy to use but related to its build quality I don’t consider to be that good because I can feel the cheaper plastic it is made from and also after a couple of minutes my hands start to get a bit sweaty and the grip that I have with this controller is not that great.

The battery lasts for quite a long time, I didn’t count exactly how long can I play in one session for example but I just had to charge it only after five days of use which particularly for my use it is more than fine.

I didn’t feel any delay in terms of responsiveness and also the buttons are easy to press at the sensitivity of the joysticks is okay.

Because I’m not an enthusiastic gamer this controller does the job which is what I was looking for.

4.0 out of 5 stars I play from time to time so this controller is good for me

This has 3 connection methods, wifi (via included dongle), Bluetooth, and wired. So it will work woth a range if devices and is easy to set up (I think it’s just xbox it won’t work with).

Does everything you’d expect a modern day controller to do. Looks OK, seem some much nicer looking ones, seem some uglier too. Feels light weight. It’s been responsive enough so far for me. I’ve only used it with a few pc games.

I’ve stated mid range purely that it is mid price. So, ad long as it lasts, its made and performs about right for it’s price point in the market for this type of item.

There’s nothing drastically wrong with the EasySMX controller – it looks good, performs well and can be used on a host of different systems, but it just lacks that wow factor. The feel of the controller is a little ‘plasticy’ and basic, but that siad, all buttons and thumb sticks are responsive and function perfectly well.

The controller design is clearly modelled on the XBox 360 controller and it’s even detected as a 360 Controller by Windows when using the USB dongle with a PC. Whilst it can be used with the Switch (and performs well when doing so) the ABXY button layout does not match the Nintendo standard which is worth noting.

The rumble feature feels nice and weighty unlike some controller than seem to have a basic rattle feature rather than a convincing rumble. Also, no signs of any lag or latency so generally speaking it’s a good controller.

I just feel it’s let down a bit by its styling and cheap plastic feel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, just not great.

This is very much a copy of an Xbox controller as you can see from my photo comparing a genuine old Xbox controller with this controller. But it does not work with an Xbox apparently, nor any PlayStation newer than a PS3, which seems odd? I tested it with my Mac mini M1 to play some Steam games and it worked fine even though it does not claim to support MacOS. It paired immediately via Bluetooth and all the buttons worked fine, though one button was a bit sticky initially and caused a game menu to cycle through itself repeatedly but it freed up after a time.

But you can tell that it’s an economy device – currently it’s about half the price of a branded controller. The overall look and feel is not as sleek or as weighty in the hand as an original controller. And the start and back buttons do not have clear logos on them, only the words “start” and “back” pressed in and are thus barely legible. But it does have a Turbo button which you can set up as a quick fire button if desired.

The main criticism though is that the stick control tips don’t have a grippy enough surface, so your thumbs tend to slip on them during fast action. My genuine Xbox controller has rubbery caps on the end of the sticks which provide just the right amount of friction and grip for the thumbs, whereas these only have a slight roughness cut into the plastic, and you can feel the difference. It’s not a show-stopper, but you have to tense your thumbs up a bit to stop them from slipping which is not ideal. Another criticism is that the supplied cable is OK for charging but is definitely too short if you needed to use it to play in attached cable mode.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a decent enough device for the price, but it’s probably best suited to a younger gamer playing on a handheld device rather than an experienced PC gamer, who is likely to prefer the better feel and build quality of a branded controller.

This controller is suitable for a wide range of devices such as PS3, PC, laptops, Android/ iOS phones and the Nintendo Switch. The controller itself comes with instructions, USB Bluetooth stick and charging / connector cable which is every short if you wanted to play with the controller while it chargers.

The controller itself feels very basic and lightweight and does come with turbo feature button but as a casual gamer its a feature I won’t use or would require. The controller itself took me ages to connect up to the Nintendo Switch and I tried the cable method and USB method however didn’t have any success. The instructions manual was little help and I didn’t find very easy to follow either. Then for some reason the controller light was next to the 3 button soon as I pressed it the middle button back to 1 and it instantly connected to my Nintendo Switch.

The controller itself feels very clunky when you pressing the buttons and for someone with smaller hands I find this controller a bit on the large size for me. Another downside is you really have to push the pull the cable into the charging port of the controller as its not a very smooth fit. Overall the controller ok but nothing special.
