I had wrongly assumed my original dome was tougher that I thought it was. It got scratched and damaged pretty easily. It’s still usable but a disappointment. That brings me to this little dome kit. This dome is a very affordable option for replacing it, fits well and lets me start over and hopefully I will be more careful. Comes with a new gasket and tools even though I used my own it was still nice to have the option. Especially if I tried to change it in the field. Also came with a new cleaning cloth. Can’t complain!
