No Frills budget case with 3 RGB fans with its own switch on the case for a choose of effects.
Plenty of room and air flow for most users. Will be buying more.
I usually get the cheapest Thermaltake cases (I have 5 PCs) but I gave this case a try, to replace a 10 years old NZXT. I was surprised by how quiet the 3 fans in front are and by the fact that there are a few nice touches that you only get at top price cases, but nevertheless, it’s worth the money if you are looking for a metal box to hold your mb. It has a few design flaws, but… for the money, I can forgive. Prety quiet case for a Ryzen 32 threads running at 4GHz, in fact this is the quietest PC in my setup which runs 24/7 at 100% CPU. Ah, one more thing… the viewing glass pane is real tempered glass, not plastic.
I was looking for a cheap enclosure to house a selection of spare parts I had kicking around. I didn’t necessarily want or need a glass side panel, RGB or fans as the hardware going in it is all relatively low power, low heat and pre-RGB.
I settled for this variety of the Hellcracks HCS195 as it appeared to be one of the cheapest, smallest enclosures which could house a decent sized tower cooler and a full ATX motherboard with room for some cable management. I was under the impression that this case would arrive with no fans or RGB controller but when it turned up at my door it had both, a pleasant surprise as that version was supposed to come at a premium.
Be aware this is a budget case and because of that it is very lightweight and is made of very thin sheet metal, the case has no rubber grommets for the cable management cutouts, the top and bottom dust filters are very flimsy and the front dust filter is not removable, the PCI slot covers are snap out and throw away, the RGB fans are SATA powered with no ability to control their speed and the RGB can only be controlled by the case.
On the plus side 30 buys you a lovely little enclosure which looks a lot like a Fractal Torrent, the case has plenty of space for cable management, it has a power supply shroud with PSU cutout window, a proper glass side panel, a reasonable amount of storage mounting options and there isn’t an abundance of wasted space in the main chamber.
Perfect for my usage and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a case at the cheaper end of the market. Absolute bargain!
