This is a great bit of kit for a PS5 – though I can’t comment on whether the additional cooling power is of any benefit or not.
It can take some wriggling to get the PS5 onto the stand but once on it doesn’t wobble or feel unstable. The controllers fit in well but it’s a perfect fit, so I imagine that any attachments on top of your controllers might prevent it from fitting.
I’ve not had any problems with it and it feels like reasonably good quality for the price. As above I can’t say if it makes any difference, but it’s certainly handy for the charging alone.
I got my other half a Playstation 5 for Christmas, bit I was always tripping over the controllers he left lying around because they were on charge.
With the PS5 stand, this is no longer an issue. It is very easy to set up, the controllers sit in the charging points quite nicely.
The stand can be powered either directly from the mains, or from the PS5 itself. We tend to just have it powered by the PS5, so one controller is always being charged when it is on and the other is being used.
The stand itself is coloured like the PS5, so it doesn’t look out of place. For the price, it is a decent piece of kit.
A brilliant stand that fits my Ps5 it keeps things running cool when I’m gaming has all the whistles and bells at a fraction of the price of some others on the market, it’s a good strong design and looks sleek there’s nothing not to like I’m very pleased with this stand and would recommend it to others.

It is good for storage as it holds everything in one place when its not in use, controllers, headset etc., I am no longer tripping over the leads so I am happy too!
The fan is not too loud on the lowest of three speeds, and I think for a budget accessory it works well.
It has 3 USB ports, handy for charging extra devices.
This stand has a mostly matte finish with a gloss strip around the middle. The bracket to make it compatible with the original PlayStation 5 disc and digital versions is pre installed and has to be pried off to use it with either of the ‘Slim’ PlayStation 5s. It is fitted firmly and need quite a bit of effort to get it off.
The stand comes with a screw to hold the console to the stand, it also has rubber feet to help keep it in place.
The fan speed is controlled by a physical button and has a display to show what speed is currently selected, it is reasonably quiet whilst running. The stand can charge 2 controllers at the same time and the controllers are charged via contact pins on an adapter you put into the controllers USB C port, which should limit any damage to the port.
You get 4 adapters so you can have 4 controllers ready to charge via the stand. The stand charges each controller at 5v1a, with a maximum power draw of 5v2a.
However there are a few cons I need to mention. First the green light that shows a charged controller stays on even when no controller is in the charge bay, and it’s quite bright in a dark room.
Second the charging cable is hard wired to the stand, meaning if it gets damaged you won’t be able to replace it. I wish it was attached via a USB C port so the controller wire could have been used. Though as the console is screwed to the stand it should be pulled.
Lastly the cable is around 50cm which is more than enough if you use the console to charge it. However if you want to charge it via a plug the cable is far to short. As such you would be better off setting up you console to still power the USB ports whilst in rest mode.
For such a big console, this is actually quite a compact little cooling and charging solution. I’ll be honest, I was only really interested in this as a charging dock rather than a cooler, but once I set it up and tested out the fans I will probably have them on now, as they are quite quiet, even on the top speed and I guess they can’t hurt to be on. As a charger it works well though. You do have to connect one of the four included little nubs into the USB-C port of your controller so that all you have to do is drop them in and they attach to the quick connecting charge port. I don’t use the USB-C ports for anything else so this isn’t an inconvenience to me at all just to leave them in all the time. At first I wasn’t sure if they charge when the console is in sleep mode, but they do seem to, so it’s all good. The lights on the side are pretty clear as to what is being charged, maybe they’re even a bit too bright and it would be nice if you could dim them a bit, but at least you can see at a glance if your controllers are charged. Mercifully, they do not stay on in sleep mode. As previously mentioned, the fans are actually pretty quiet and they put oout less noise than the console for the most part. On top speed you can start to hear them, but they don’t really spin that fast really and only push a bit of air, so they do keep quiet. On that note, I’m not entirely sure how much they actually help keep your console cool, rather than push a ton of air, they seem to basically just pull the hot air away from your console a little quicker, which I guess is a small benefit, but nothing major. Overall though, as a compact solution to keep everything organised and charged, I liek this a lot. I’m not so into the console being up on it’s side, it’s just so monolithic, but it’s worth it to have everything in one place and easy to store. It looks decent too, a bit cheap and plastic-y but since it’s the same colourway as the console itself it actually just blends in well enough and you don’t even really notice it until you pay attention to the fan lights, or USB hub etc.
