This water bottle is so cute and colourful. It feels very robust and it doesn’t leak. It does a great job of keeping my water cold. I particularly like the slim shape and size of this bottle as it easily fits into the pocket on my backpack.
We’ve got several of this brand of water bottle before and have been delighted with them. This one is a larger capacity than the others we’ve had and perfect for taking more water out and about in the Summer

I love these bottles so much! They’re wonderfully designed, really pretty and are such that you can feel the quality immediately when you pick them up. The insulation is top-notch, keepingh drinks cool for many hours at a time.
The lid is easy to use and very comfortable to drink from. The bottle is easy to clean too.
This 500ml water bottle has a beautiful colourful floral and scratch resistant powder painted design.
It is very easy to open and close with a single finger push button operation.
The top can be removed and the neck is big enough to clean easily and add ice cubes.
It can be safely washed on the top rack of a dishwasher.
The built in straw and air hole make this one of the easiest to drink out of bottles we own.
It even has a hanging hook built in if you need one!
Obviously it is not suitable for carbonated drinks but will happily keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for many hours, just like magic it somehow knows which is which!
This has fast become my partners favourite, go to water bottle!
As long as you do not remove the silicone seal in the lid there is no reason this bottle cant last for years!
With the carbon emissions from the manufacture of this product offset by the supplier you cant really ask for more!
This bottle is so pretty. It isn’t the lightest as it’s metal and double walled, but it has kept my drinks well chilled for as long as it’s taken me to drink them (several hours) and hasn’t leaked. The painted flowers on the outside are a raised texture which helps grip the bottle and gives it a really nice tactile feel. It’s a great capacity for drinking on the go. It fits in the cup holders on the side of my rucksack and in the car so now I take it everywhere when it’s warm. I also really like the ‘spout’ which is really helpful when travelling as a passenger in the car as I don’t have to take the lid off and risk spilling it (I tend to find ‘open’ flasks a bit tricky to drink from) – simply flip the lid up and drink out of the spout. The wide opening after removing the lid has made it really easy to clean with a brush. I haven’t dropped it but it feels very robust and well made.
I got this for my daughter to take to school during the hot summer months. The fact it is metal and insulated means that it should help keep her water cooler once I’ve thrown in some ice cubes and also cope with the odd knock. It’s also dishwasher safe, making cleaning simple.
The floral design is pleasant and slightly raised (see my photos), which feels good and helps with bottle grip.
The lid is easy to use and features a safety clasp to stop accidental opening. I’ve experienced zero leaks from it and there is a good “O-ring” to help keep things watertight. The lid also features some grip to help with unscrewing when it needs refilling.
The only thing I don’t like about the lid is the carry ring. This folds down into a recess in the lid and is pretty tricky to lift out of this “closed” position. I had to pry it up to get to it the first time and I’m hoping it will get easier with time.
One other word of warning is that the first time I put the lid in my dishwasher, the “O-Ring” fell out. Luckily I saw it before sending her off to school, as without it the bottle would have leaked. It was easy enough to push back into place but ideally this shouldn’t fall out.
Otherwise this is a great bottle and we are both pleased with it.

My daughter loves this bottle. Uses it every day for school and drink is stoll chilled at the end of the day. Is drop and bash proof and doesn’t leak at all! Goes in dishwasher and comes out like brand new. Just take care not to loose or misplace the rubber seal ring!
Really like the design of this Ion8 500ml water bottle/flask.
Great for any age female from kids to mums to grannies.
The design is nice and quirky and noticeable without being brash.
The seals are all good and the flask is nice to drink from with a nice lip around the edge.
I like the fact it has a lock to stop the bottle accidentally opening and also a hook/handle to carry it easily or hang it from a rucksack should you so wish.
Perfect for school, office, home or the gym.
19.99 seems about right to me as it’s a very nice quality bottle with quite subtle Ion8 branding and a distinctive design.

This bottle is amazing! It’s great for keeping cool because it is metal. It’s great because it has very vibrant colours and beautiful patterns. The only issue is that at the top of the bottle there is a tiny hole made on purpose I assume for air and when you go to take sip of water it pours on you. But other than that it is a brilliant and incredible water bottle. Would recommend and good quality!
Loveeee the fact that this is made in Scotland firstly – and is carbon neutral.
The flask is a regular size – not super big, but ideal for a cuppa on the touchline when watching kids play on a cold Sunday morning. Flask is designed with a female flavour but is not age defined which I like so it would appeal to young and old alike. The flask closes with a really neat lock and it is triple closed to prevent leakages which are so annoying when they happen. Its easy to flip shut, then flip the lock up and then flip the additional hook up and over the whole lock unit and hey presto, completely shut. There is a holding finger hook too which I found quite difficult to access when it was locked in place, but once out its got a nice feel to it and I’m sure it will loosen up with more frequent use. I also love the fact that it can go in the dishwasher too – so many of these flasks are not dishwasher safe and I like to give them a good hot wash each time after use !!! Its not cheap, but its great quality so I give it an unhesitatingly excellent 5 out of 5.

It’s an insulated steel bottle to keep your drink cold (or hot!) and the drinking spout works really well for me. I also love that there is a hook to keep the lid properly latched. No accidental leaking in shops with this bottle (this actually happened to me when a different water bottle popped open and make it look like I’d had an accident in the middle of an aisle!).

We have lots of insulated cups and flasks – they’re all great but frustratingly none fit the cup holders in the car. This does.
This insulated steel bottle is the same size as the plastic bottles we get from the supermarket and fits perfectly into the cup holder in a Nissan Qashqai.
This is is far superior to the standard plastic bottle in a number of ways –
* It’s insulated so the drink retains its temperature for longer.
* The lid is quick seal but also quick release and can be operated with one hand – much better than a screw cap.
* Being steel it’s sturdy and doesn’t squash in the way a plastic bottle does so it doesn’t spill as easily.
* It’s easier to drink from.
* It’s refillable.
* It’s easy clean.
* It’s easily portable in a backpack as well as fitting in a car cup holder.
It’s verified as climate neutral by ClimatePatner and is a Climate Pledge Friendly product so it’s eco-credentials are high. The paint used is also solvent free which is excellent.
At 19.99 for a 500ml bottle (as at 29 June 2024) this isn’t a cheap bottle, but it should last well, and I’m prepared to pay a premium for something that is well build, long lasting and functions as I want it. Pleased to have it. Would recommend.
Believe it or not, this is actually the third ION8 bottle I have ordered. The first two were children’s bottles. As such I knew that the bottle would be well made first and foremost. The locking mechanism and in fact the whole top of the bottle is strong, good quality and efficient, just as I knew it would be.
The size is good at half a litre (500ml). It walks the line nicely of being holdable and carriable without being too heavy when full. The bottle is a good shape to hold and the material is smooth and good in the hand. Perhaps the best feature of the bottle is the very secure locking mechanism, it is trusty yet easy enough to operate. I have great confidence that the bottle would stay securely closed in a bag/lunch box or similar.
The design is perhaps more girly or feminine than neutral. Of course these days you have to point out that anyone can use anything they want, including boys/men using pink or flowery items. I would still say that this is designed more towards the female market than the male. I actually ordered this for a woman and I am sure she will be very pleased with it. I am pleased with my order and hey – next time I will get one for myself because after two for the kids and one for a lady I am the only one left without a snazzy ION8 bottle, and I certainly know from experience how trusty, reliable, secure and well-made they are regardless of whether the individual design is to your personal taste, the bottle itself will be a good one if it’s from ION8. I know because I have 3!
This bottle has a really pretty flowery design but is also very functional. It is a good size, folding 500ml, has a good lid which does not leak and similarly, a good leakproof cap. This has an added lock clasp for peace of mind, The bottle is metal but not overly heavy which is ideal when out and about.
