JYCSTE Wireless Gaming Mouse, Rechargeable Computer Mouse
JYCSTE Wireless Gaming Mouse, Rechargeable Computer Mouse Ergonomic Mice Honeycomb Design with RGB Backlight, USB Receiver, 6 Buttons, Adjustable DPI, Wireless Mouse for PC/Mac/Laptop (Black)
At this price point, it should be obvious you’re not getting some MLG gaming mouse – this isn’t the mouse you’d bring to a tournament with $100,000 on the line. But for casual gaming? This is definitely a contender.
First off, this mouse can connect to your PC *only* via the 2.4gh radio dongle. No bluetooth, and surprisingly, no wired connection will work, either. Obviously wired will have the lowest latency, but if you’re a serious gamer, a radio dongle beats out a bluetooth connection handily.
I got the white version of the mouse, and am glad I did – I think the pulsing “breathing” LED lights look much better against the white, and white peripherals generally much less “college freshman playing COD” to me, IMO.
The all five mouse buttons (right and left click, forward and back, and DPI) are clicky and responsive, and the mouse wheel scrolls well. I thought the honeycomb raised surface might bother me, but it actually does increase airflow/reduce sweatiness to your palm pretty well. The mouse doesn’t feel like a $50 gaming mouse, but it doesn’t feel cheap, either.
That said, if you’re anti-LED like I generally am, you should be aware that you can’t actually completely turn off the LED lights of this mouse while using it. Turning the lights to “Off” actually just changes them to “red,” while turning them “on” turns it to the breathing, color shifting LED pattern. That said, the breathing pattern here is actually pretty muted and tasteful, smoothly shifting between pastels.
All in all, a quality gaming mouse at this price point.
